In America when a person considers how much known corruption exists within the corporate sector, including lobbyists and many others who court Presidential or Congressional favors, the general question then arises out of he blue. If the pay as you go kickbacks system bypasses the peoples votes or the elections become fixed to the point where thousands of votes somehow “magically” appear to change the outcome, then the country America, has been hit by a tidal wave, and so much so that the entire country now lies in the balance. As a consequence the machinery and the extra ballots used to shore up one candidate over another has been compromised to the point of treason. Treason you may ask?
Yes treason. It is treason when one or more persons betray their allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the people or an elected President. Thus, those persons who orchestrate such a scheme and succeed are known as traitors. Generally, leaders and their governments protect themselves and the people from an insurrection such as an inside revolt or a coup d’e’tat. But to make matters worse, in the case of America, if the FBI, the CIA, the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, or the Attorney General are possibly complicit in acts of subversion to remove a sitting President from office, it is a crime. And if a stolen election was by design and various government players were all part of it, they are all guilty and in this case it is called High treason because they have essentially become enemies of the state by intentionally betraying their allegiance and levying an inside war against the people, the government and the President.
(Grand Jury, 2 Curt.C.C. 630 (D. Mass. Cir. Ct. 1851).
Furthermore, acts of treason may also “impair the well-being of the state” such as the famous quote used by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration Of Independence when he referred to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” as unalienable rights.
Therefore, if there are those persons in government or corporate entities such as Google who are complicit in taking away unalienable rights of a free people, then they too are enemies of the state and are also part of an existing treasonous element that seeks to destroy a free America along with the Bill of Rights through covert tactics and activities such as censorship and much more.
I am a voter and resident of the State of Missouri. With regard to the recent justices’ vote of the Supreme Court of the United State, holding that the State of Texas does not have Standing to submit a Petition challenging the voting practice of Georgia and other states, I believe your negative vote is not in agreement with the Supreme Court adjudication of Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98 (2000). If the United States is still a nation of law, and not a nation that is dominated by private individuals / corporate firms who have acquired control of the mass media through financial entities of New York City, I strongly encourage you to reconsider your vote.
This is not for those of you who cling to the false left vs. right political paradigm. If you are one of those people who cannot grasp the fact that labeling yourself as either of these, is only a disservice to yourself, you probably aren’t going to like this a bit.
With that said………
We have a president who is openly attempting to rig or disrupt the coming election. So desperate to win, his efforts to collapse the US Postal service go unchallenged by Republicans across the board out of fear that mail in voting might cost him the election. Now he claims he should get an additional third term.
This man/child will never leave the office willingly. Having been caught in so many exaggerations and outright lies, you would think he would be grateful for the opportunity to exit gracefully. But there is nothing graceful or refined about this man. He is amoral, has no boundaries, is a pathological liar, is a serial adulterer, and refuses to take responsibility for anything. His own family says he has no principles, and cannot be trusted.
Don’t take any of this as some kind of endorsement of Hillary Clinton. I can not begin to imagine the hell that would have rained down on us had she won the presidency. She is in my opinion, one of the most dangerous, deceitful, dishonest, manipulative politician’s out there.
But this is my point: When we accept these obvious duds, these unqualified, dishonorable, dishonest, individuals as the only possible options for the highest office in this country, who can we possibly blame but ourselves? These two were the best we had? This was the best of either wing of the vulture called government?
So many people are reporting that they are not voting this year. I suggest that this is the only possible way we can voice our rejection of two of the worst possible candidates. I personally refuse to be put in the position of having to choose between two old men, one of whom wants desperately to wear a crown, and the other not even sure of where he is.
We are played by either side alternately, in a good cop/bad cop routine. The joke is on us, the public. Especially those clinging to these fake ideologies that mean nothing in reality. We label ourselves, box our selves in and viciously, verbally assault anyone who dares to dispute our harbored beliefs. You may all do as you like, but I refuse to play along any longer.
Remember this: Patriotism is not the worship of a president or other politician. Patriotism is supporting, protecting and valuing our country.
I am a political atheist. My country comes first before any political posturing.
Having voted all my life in absolutely every conceivable election, feeling it my duty as well as an honor, I can no longer participate in this system. The last presidential election saw the public faced with two of the most unqualified, undignified, and low level candidates ever presented to the American public as presidential options. Trump and Clinton were the best of the best? The best at what? Each of them only slightly worse than the other depending on the topic. Neither of them should ever have been anywhere close to the office, much less contenders for the highest office of the US government.
The coming presidential election, if it even takes place in fact, will see the public faced with Trump and Biden as the only potential candidates. Two fumbling old men: one a misogynistic, amoral, pathological liar who has no interest in, or knowledge of the Constitution for the United States and who sees himself as some sort of royal, and the other? Has never really accomplished anything, is rumored to be unable to keep his hands off young girls and women, and many times appears totally confused about where he is and what is currently taking place.
I refuse. If this is the best we have….count me out. That’s my vote! No vote at all. And please don’t tell me that if I don’t vote I have no right to complain. Of course I do! If you vote for one of these losers, I can start by blaming you for putting them in office to begin with.
And please don’t confuse politics with interest in the well being of our country. Politics and political party’s only matter to the commoners. None of those elected officials give a damn about any of us.
What is it those in this, supposedly spontaneous, caravan think it is that they are going to find here? Peace? Security? Prosperity? We don’t have any! We are either unable or unwilling to take care of our own people….what is it you think we are going to do for you? Homelessness here in the US is reaching critical mass. Violence perpetrated by law enforcement is epidemic. Our children are taken by CPS and used for profit, and they will do the same to yours. Our elderly are being robbed by probate tribunal actors, and then euthanized in hospice or in hospitals once all their property has been transferred to their new owners. And those of us caught in the middle can barely make ends meet. What is it you believe you are going to find here that you weren’t already dealing with in the country you are leaving behind? Drugs? We have pharmaceuticals for that that are far more lethal than any street drugs and doctors more than willing to get you addicted. Violence? You can get shot to death by police here for having a broken tail light. We can’t board a plane without specially marked ID’s or a passport.
But the bigger question looms: What made all of you in the caravan think or believe you had the right to storm the US demanding entry, even if by illegal means?
The election is over: What happened to the caravan?More
After a lifetime of voting with Democrats, this year I marked the box for a Republican. I think it says something about how politicians view the general public when someone with your history can even campaign for an office, much less think they should actually get that office. What was the DNC thinking? What were you, yourself thinking? Did you think we really were stupid out here?
Like so many, I watched with shock and awe as Trump ran away with the election. All the more surprising as MSM and the Republican party tried their best to derail Trumps candidacy. Shocked that so many voters finally stood up to the political machine in D.C., and said they had had enough. Awed, by the scene that unfolded on MSM. Absolute shock! leaving seasoned “anchors” virtually speechless. I rather enjoyed it.More

Are Obama, George Soros/Moveon.Org and others behind the nationwide protest which are part of a “false flag” event and unrest, and if continued becomes another event spurred on by “planned violence?”
And as a ploy, will Obama then declare martial law and stay in office? Who will intervene on behalf of the American public that were part of a fair election process while key players in the
background are subverting the voter’s choice? Will it be Congress? Certainly not the FBI. If Congress does not act will the revolutionary element be unleashed by the an obvious shadow elite?
America, you may be entering into a tipping point scenario which is being orchestrated by key players.
Nov 9
Within two hours of the call-to-action, Gorge Soros’s MoveOn members had created more than 200 gatherings nationwide, with the number continuing to grow on Wednesday afternoon.
To all of you whiners and criers out there who whimper or scream hysterically that if I don’t vote I have no right to complain……..the hell if I don’t. I have watched this cycle every four years devolve into some kind of sick comedy act, and this election has got to be the final insult to the American voters.
On the so-called “right” we have Trump. A misogynistic blowhard that has supposedly built a fortune by gaming the system, filing multiple bankruptcies on his businesses and walked away with the goods and left many holding the bag.
On the so-called “left” we have Clinton. A murderous, treacherous, deceitful, career politician whose history in government is littered with one sordid episode after another.
330 Million people estimated to be in the US and this is all we can come up with for presidential candidates? Really?
We seriously need a vote of [no confidence] on our ballots. I refuse to be backed into another corner and being forced to choose between two clearly unqualified, unworthy, unreliable, dishonest, lying, cheating, conniving, deceitful, manipulative, Trilateral, Council on Foreign Relations, central banking flunkies, as my only options for president. We don’t elect presidents anyway.More
No matter who wins the election in November and whether it is rigged or not, we the people of America still have a major job to do and it is all dependent upon not how we vote but it all comes down to what is within our own selves and what we believe in. Therefore, the integrity and the character of a person needs to be fashioned though careful choices and finding their own way through the storms of life.
Yet, how can this be accomplished?
In the last 50 or more years there has been a major shift in the norms of the country to where political correctness, philosophical theories and man made principles have entered into the equation, but has this been for the people’s benefit or ended up being harmful? More
“The idea that Clinton, whose hands could not have more blood on them, is going to stump for safer communities by disarming the public would almost be laughable if it were not for the bloody trail she has left in her wake”

Many people are refusing to vote this coming election. These refusals are met with the standard “if you don’t vote you have no right to complain”. I hold another line of thought…”If you vote for one of the unacceptable candidates presented to you, YOU are directly to blame for what they do”. We seriously need a “vote of no confidence” on our ballots.
Too many people are still caught up in the right/left, “as long as my party wins” mindset. Let me educate you…..there is a party…..a big one…….and you were not invited.
After watching some of the Republican convention and being brought dangerously close to blowing chunks, what caught my attention was the number of people who cheered wildly, jumping up and down as one speaker after another BS’d them with speeches that contained words that meant absolutely nothing to them.
I can only assume that somewhere there are those who were laughing hysterically at the sheer number of people who bought the whole show, hook, line and big sinker!
Having watched in disbelief as Trump made faces, gestured wildly, and acted at times as if he had actually lost his mind, I really didn’t think things could get much worse. In my opinion, Trump’s popularity is based upon his speaking out loud what many of us fine Christian people harbor in our private thoughts. Unfortunately, he is the lesser of two evils in this election. More
Whistleblowers! Is presented in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Whistleblowers Summit July 27-29 in Washington DC.
David Frank joins us this morning to discuss the fatal flaws in our system of voting. What exactly has gone wrong? Who did it? How did they do it? Does your vote matter?
David will cover the “whodunit” plaguing our voting system then give us a plan that could radically alter not only the way we vote, but how to ensure a fair and honest vote.
Dave Frank joins the show today to discuss a new and innovative way to vote that would bypass the rigged Sequoia and Diebold machines.
We all remember the 2000 election, and the massive vote fraud that took place in nearly every state. None of the results could be examined in the states that used those two machines. All the machines were programmed to do was repeat their earlier numbers.
But what if there was a simpler, more verifiable way to cast your vote? One that wouldn’t require you to use those rigged ballot machines? Join us for the next hour while Dave explains his plan.
“Was it Snowden for revealing the insidious activity of this NSA? Or were the traitors actually those who ordered the spying? Maybe it was those who sat at their desks and did the actual spying, or those who wrote the programming that facilitated the spying. I contend that it was not Snowden who betrayed us; it was the NSA and its 55,000 employee’s (conservative estimate) who made the decision that our constitutional rights mattered not….after all, they work for the government!”

Here we go again. If we can just get the Democrats (Republicans) out of office and put the Republicans (Democrats) in, everything will be better. I have to wonder just how many times we will buy this same old song and dance before we admit that regardless of whom we vote for, regardless of which party they originate from, the flight plan doesn’t change.
Don’t Vote for Your Future Oppressors (Especially the Ones That have Been Bought or Bribed by Billionaires and Multinational Corporations)
“What Christians have got to do is take back this country, one precinct at a time, one neighborhood at a time and one state at a time. I honestly believe that in my lifetime, we will see a country once again governed by Christians…and Christian values.” “I want to be invisible. I do guerrilla warfare. I paint my face and travel at night. You don’t know it’s over until you’re in a body bag. You don’t know until election night.” — Ralph Reed (R- Christian Coalition executive director 1987-1989)

There are two important national elections coming up in the next two years and the corporate-owned and controlled mainstream media (MSM) is again orchestrating another series of lucrative “too-close-to-call”, “cliff-hanger” elections designed to sell the maximum number of political commercials (“projected non-competitive” landslide elections don’t make as much money for the press).
In the heat of the campaigns, we mis-informed and oft-deceived voters must be careful lest we blindly allow our future oppressors – or their paymasters – to win at the polls. Unfortunately, history tells us that it happens all the time. But this year an informed electorate (that makes possible a true democracy) is more important than it has been in many past elections. More
Try as they might, MSM just can’t get the fire stoked under the 2012 election. Few, if any at all, are remotely concerned with what will simply be the crowning of yet another internationalist/globalist/world economy talking head. I do believe the American public is fed up with phony partisanship, fictional political divides and who can tell the biggest lies and still get re-elected or, elected for the first time. Obama? Romney?
I am not voting in the next presidential election. And, I don’t want to hear how if I don’t vote I have no right to complain about how things are or what some political puppet is doing that is unconstitutional, unlawful or just plain stupid. Yes, I do have the right to complain: just as I have a right to refrain from contributing to this national charade we call “voting”.
I refuse to allow people to claim that I have only myself to blame if Evil-doer #1 (R) got elected and they think that I voted for the bum, and now he is breaking every campaign promise and doing exactly the opposite of what he said he would do, and now this is somehow my fault….my personal failing…..because the guy turns out to be a jerk. I voted for him (supposedly) so I have only myself to blame if I don’t’ like the way things are. I refuse to vote. I can’t win. We can’t win.
I don’t want to hear how our fore-fathers died in countless wars of aggression so that I could have the right to vote. That’s not what they died for. Voting was never what they died for unless voting has [.Inc] after it. (I guess it does)
I refuse to be made complicit in selecting the next New World Order flunky. Not that my vote would count; our votes are not counted. Diebold, Sequoia and other electronic voting machine manufacturers have seen to it that no matter how we, the public, fill out those ballots the machines magically produce the candidate selected for us prior to the election. Electronic voting machine manufacturers were well paid for their uncompromising commitment to rigging elections. After all, why leave anything to chance and leave open the possibility that the people’s choice might actually get elected. That could really mess things up if we actually had a legitimate candidate that hadn’t been vetted and pre-approved by the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberger’s, the Trilateral Commission and various shadowy figures that seem to slip in and out of the shadowy halls of government insisting on having their way. Please note the correction: It was not Lieberman who made these comments and they were regarding the Coburn Amendments, not the final vote on S.510
Senator Bennett (D) bemoans the fact that it is all rigged! 17 seconds into this clip, Senator Joe Lieberman is heard as he remarks on the vote for S.510 the fake food safety bill…..It’s rigged! It’s rigged! It’s all rigged! Well Senator, we all feel the same way!

It appears to get worse by the day; corrupt politics, corrupt politicians and an ever expanding and more threatening federal government.
I cannot think of even one person I have talked to or corresponded with, who has expressed even a modicum of fear over terrorism threats from some unknown mad man bent on killing us all off because they “hate us for our freedoms”. The fear is prevalent in their conversations, generated by the continual onslaught of legislation and Executive Orders issued from a growing and malevolent government; it is this government who hates us for our freedoms. In fact, it isn’t even that they hate us for our freedoms; they just hate us! While the Obama Administration was surely not the instigator of these assaults on the nation, he is happily following in the footsteps of his predecessor, George Bush the Lesser and his merry band of neo-cons, and has continued the destruction of the sovereign United States.
The neo-cons are alive and well and prospering greatly, we just call them “socialists and communists”, now. You are supposed to believe that some big ideological change took place when Obama was elected.
Whatever you choose to call these sociopaths, the end result is the same; the subjugation and enslavement of the people; the ending of individual wealth and property, and the intent to make just plain breathing only allowable as a privilege granted by government decree. More

We vote because we believe it will make a difference. We vote because we have been carefully steered through fictional ideologies, presented to us as “us against them”, the right v left, Democrat v Republican, liberal v conservative. It is all a ruse. Not one of the people who wave the party flags, who promote the party platforms on either side of the fictional isle belong to anything other than the ruling party of the District of Criminals. This one party system which has a death grip on the country isn’t about to let go; but I’m not voting for any of them. I’ve decided that I will not vote for the candidate most likely to cause the least destruction just because he or she isn’t quite as corrupted as the pretended opposition.
We have choices between two things….rotten, and not so rotten at the moment. If those are the only choices I have, I refuse to choose. I refuse to be forced to choose between the lesser of two evils. Evil is evil; changing the face of evil by rotating which faction is center stage, makes it no less malignant. I will not be forced to vote for candidates I firmly believe are set against us.
We need the choice of voting “no confidence” on our ballots. We need to be able to prevent anyone who cannot garner at least 50% of the vote, from taking an official office. We need to end corrupt politicians sitting in office who got only 20 or 30% of the vote. We need a means to convey our disgust at the lack of honesty, integrity and moral character that a vote of “no confidence” could provide. And we need to prevent career politicians from nesting up in government on a minimal number of votes.
Regardless of which camp you like to think you are in, voting will simply deliver you more of the same no matter who wins. Just as the Democrats picked up where the Republicans left off in 2008, the changing of the guard on congress will simply see a continuance of the agenda already in motion. The Republicans will simply pick up where the Democrats left off. But you are supposed to believe there is some great and vast difference between the right and left. We’ll get rid of those nasty Democrats and put the Republicans back in there running things…..yeah….that’ll fix it. Wait…Weren’t the Republicans the ones who set this mess up during Bush the Lessor’s tenure as Prez? And, weren’t the Democrats going to ride in to save us from the nasty Republicans? More
“Sometimes it is mind numbing to consider just how gullible and easily duped we can be. Are we really just going to change the center stage actors and believe that by doing so we will affect change? Or, that anything will actually change? Are we that stupid? Is there really anyone out there who honestly believes that electing Republicans will change anything at all?_____________________________________
The last ten years have seen the most overt assaults on the constitution, our civil liberties and our right to be left alone by government. In 2000, with a new president enthroned by the Supreme Court rather than by election, the faction of congress which calls itself [Republican] began the dismantling of our sovereignty and our constitution, in earnest. By 2006, compassionate conservatism, a true oxymoron, had done as much damage as it could and over the next few years, the torch was passed to the other faction, the [Democrats]. Either way we got the same thing, the establishment of multi-national corporations as government, with congress simply acting as the facilitator for corporate takeover.
2008 saw Democrats take control of both houses of congress and election of a new president. And didn’t we all give a sigh of relief? Didn’t most of us who had been waiting to exhale after eight years of near dictatorial rule by the Bush Administration, the absolute corruption of power and the open hostility of government towards the people, suddenly feel as if some burden had been lifted from us? That somehow all the egregious assaults on America, perpetrated by its own government, would somehow be righted? That our instinctive fear of this grossly expanding government that was intruding steadily into our lives, that viewed us as the enemy, would be subdued by voting into office anyone but more Republicans? Didn’t we believe the Democrats would save the day? More
Does the majority of America really believe Socialism is the better cultural system than the Capitalist, free market system we have known since establishment of the US Constitution? That is the prime question voters must ask themselves in this Presidential election.
Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev in a speech at the Polish embassy in 1956 said “We will bury you.” He explained that meant not by a shovel but from within. The implication was that step by step, Communism would be introduced to Western nations until it eventually overwhelmed existing governance.
As in virtually all cultures, methods change but the end result is always in focus. In America, Mr. Khrushchev’s statement seems alive and well. The strong will of national governance given to us by our Founders has for over fifty years been whittled away at by laws, agreements, judicial rulings, Executive orders, signing statements and the
manipulation of policies favoring Socialistic over Capitalistic principles.
Since its founding in 1945, the United Nations has become more influential and powerful. The United States has signed on to several UN socialist policies that have become interwoven into elements of America’s governance. Examples are Smart Growth, environmental policies, endangered species, public/private partnership, federal control of education, gun control, land use control and other restrictions on freedom.
The contemporary end result seems to be actions that move the U.S. away from national governance toward world governance. Voters must understand the mindset of candidates and send to Washington DC only those who screen laws they support to their compliance with the U.S. constitution.
In what was widely reported as a “shocking” ruling by the United States Supreme Court, the Supremes declared a lower court’s ruling as illegal, halting any forced attempts by the Ohio GOP to challenge the handling of voter registrations. The Republicans were demanding that all voter registrations be compared to Department of Motor Vehicle car registrations and any voter not registered there……well, too bad. Which is all well and good if you own a car and have a license.
The first flag that should have gone up on this issue was just how fast the Ohio Gop got this in front of the Supreme Court. Any other case would have taken months if not years.
The second, and most important flag was the ruling against the GOP in Ohio. This allowed the Secretary of State in Ohio to cease any efforts to compare voter registration with DMV records. The fact is, she is continuing her efforts to verify new voters, and many old ones.
What you need to be asking yourself here, is why would the Supreme Court rule on this case with the speed of lightening when they are known to take millenium to address any other case, and why would they rule against the party they are known to favor?
It would appear that the Supremes were helping to lay the groundwork for the contesting of the presidential election. By refusing to uphold the lower court ruling, and in fact reversing it, the court and the GOP assumed the Secretry of State would end all verification activities. Once the election took place, if Obama won, they had the legal grounds to contest the vote on the basis of possible fraud backed up by the failure of the S.O.S. to verify the registrations under new rules. Having already gone as far as the Supreme Court, the GOP has engaged the Court in advance for future interference in the election.
If MCCain wins Ohio…you won’t hear a peep out of them. Not as though that is likely. This is one of the same states where the GOP has attempted to disenfranchise voters whose homes have gone into foreclosure. Why having your home foreclosed upon should preclude you from voting is a response to the public holding Republicans primarily responsible for the financial mess we are in, including the sub-prime mortgage fiasco which netted many of their good friends a fortune. We can’t have people voting who have been victimized by the corrupt and greedy who were enabled by their Republican cronies over the last eight years. And in Ohio, a large number of foreclosures have occured and continue to occur. Not good news for the GOP.
In what has to be one of the more transparent rulings of the Supreme Court, the striking down of the lower court ruling was done to facilitate the contesting of the election results. The GOP will fall back on both court rulings, claiming voter fraud and will sue to prevent the election results from being finalized.
I find it absolutely mind blowing that the same political party that paid to have voting machines rigged and hacked in every state, who stormed Florida and demanded that the recount be stopped in 2000, the same party that cheated at every turn and at every opportunity; the same party that was responsible for using felon roles from Texas to cage votes in Florida is now crying foul!
We are looking at Florida all over again, only this time the GOP had to rely on the Supreme Court as Jeb Bush and Kathryn Harris were not available to rig another state election in favor of Republicans. In Ohio, former S.O.S. Blackwell is not available to do their dirty work there; not that it matters to him, he was promoted and relocated for his efforts on behalf of the GOP.
This ruling by the Supreme Court was nothing more than the groundwork needed to contest the presidential election.
For some weird reason, hunting moose, shooting wolves from helicopters and giving your children names reminiscent of the Woodstock culture are now all qualifiers for the vice presidency of the US. Apparently not even knowing what the VP’s job is, is not relevant.
But then again, maybe her actions as governor is what qualifies her. She abused her office for personal vendetta, is under investigation for this. Is linked to the Ted Stevens scandal and isn’t allowed to speak without tight scripting.
Yup! Sounds like she’s qualified to me!
Click this link and cast your vote. IF you are supporting her only because she is a woman, OR, only because of her bust measurements……please stay out of the voting booth.
I just received a copy of “The Minnesota Concervative Delegate Team” sent to all those “true Republicans”. (All three of them?)
It’s as if the propaganda emails highlighting Obama’s middle name (Hussein) weren’t stupid enough; as if the emails citing tax tables in a Clinton vs. Bush administration ploy…..that carefully omitted the alternative tax Bush loves so much that will eat up 55% of household incomes by 2010, but only for working class Americans. (By the way…..Clinton has been gone for 7 years now..get over it)
As if the conservative vs. liberal letters that supposedly compare the “values” and “morality” of true conservatives versus those godless liberals, didn’t ignore the hypocrisy of the right, didn’t leave one with the sense that someone had either not listened to the news or suffered from severe selective hearing, I just don’t think there is any hope for the Republican party at all.
I believe if we are going to fear someone because of what their parents named them, we should be in total fear of anyone named George…or Dick just for starters. Heck! I think we should ban everyone with the last name of Bush, from the country.
This latest letter from the Minnesota Conservative Delegate Team is another of those cases of the GOP eating its young or maybe swallowing its own tale. Apparently ired by the refusal of Ron Paul supporters to go away like good GOP’ers, the MCDT has taken it upon itself to stifle support within the party for a candidate that is getting support from all quarters. Now, you would think that Ron Paul’s adherence to the Constitution, to principle, to the laws and his opposition to NAFTA, CAFTA and other illegal trade agreements would have made him a star in the Republican party. Its apparent that the core of the party has become so corrupted they can no longer identify a true conservative, patriotic, and honest candidate even when he is in their own ranks. Makes me wonder when the self identified “leaders” of the Republican party will come out and admit that they are neo-conservatives (meaning not conservatives at all) and that the corruption is so ingrained, such a political aphrodisiac they are beside themselves wondering why the sheeple in the party refuse to follow their lead.
(quote) “Whatever success Paul supporters have had in Minnesota Conventions has largely been the result of the failure of mainstream conservative Republicans to unite behind a qualified team of party leaders”. (So anyone who doesn’t do what you tell them to do is not maintstream?)
And in closing this letter against opposing such an unpopular candidate as McCain: “The civil war that is ripping the Democratic party apart does not need to occur within our party; we have our nominee. John McCain” (end quote)
Just for the record, that “civil war” referred to in the Democratic party is called campaigning for office. Its the battle that should take place if you really do believe in democracy and fair and open elections. Its apparent that Republicans do not. We have only to look at the election fraud of the 2000 and 2004. Elections that saw caging, hacked voting machines, corrupt secretaries of states, purged votes, shredded votes, disenfranchized voters, and the interference in a national election by a corrupt, Republican dominated Supreme Court. Ah! To be a Republican!
Everytime I receive another of these letters, another of these carefully crafted efforts to tell conservatives who they are going to vote for, rather than finding out whom they wish to vote for, I would laugh except it isn’t really funny.
I want to know who decided that we were so stupid, so gullible that sending out flame emails that contain absolutely stupid information or that requires us to lower our level of intelligence in order to accept what the GOP wants rather than making our own choices…..who are these people? And why do we pay any attention to them at all?
The Republican party may suffer a split (I believe it already has) but not because Ron Paul supporters won’t go away. The split will occur because it is so apparent that the party of manipulation and control, the party that proclaimed its own virtuosity, its own high morals, its own self righteous piety, has been exposed. And what has been laid bare for all to see is that rather than the party of morality, patriotism and freedom, and all the other adjectives right wingers like to use to discibe themselves while they preen, is nothing more than a private club of self promoting individuals who believe they can and should call the shots.
What is glaringly apparent is that selecting the best candidate for the preservation of the country is not the issue; simply having a Republican candidate they selected before hand whom they are assured will continue the wars and the destruction of our soveriegn nation is more important than any silly old thing like the constitution and the law.
Personally, I wish the neo-con faction would just split away and form its own party (it is one anyway) and leave the rest of us alone. And please! No more idiotic emails with bogus messages in them. Forwarding these electronic pieces of crap make us all look as if we have little character and even less integrity. What scares me is the people who forward them and actually think they are worth anything other than a quick delete.
I will not be voting for McCain…..the worst possible choice, followed closely by both Democrats. Just for the record I will be voting for Ron Paul even if I have to write his name in on the ballot. I don’t believe party leaders are any more qualified to determine who I vote for than I am. Either way…..I decide who gets my vote…….not the GOP.
This was sent to me by a PPJ member out in Wyoming.I don’t know who actually penned this article and I am sorry that I am not able to give that woman her dues. The one thing I would add to this article is that Hillary Clinton NOT getting the nomination is not an excuse for not voting. The idea that women would cast aside this valuable privilege and right simply because their preferred candidate didn’t make the cut is inexcusable in light of what it took to gain access to those voting booths.
Again, many thanks to whomever the author was of this article.
Marti
I’ve never heard this story before, quite this way….. it is an eye-opener.
This is the story of our Grandmothers, and Great-grandmothers, as they lived only 90 years ago. It was not until 1920 that women were granted the right to go to the polls and vote. It is a privilege to vote!
The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty prison guards wielding clubs with their warden’s blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of ‘obstructing sidewalk traffic.’
They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.
Thus unfolded the ‘Night of Terror’ on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson’s White House for the right to vote.
For weeks, the women’s only water came from an open pail. Their food–all of it colorless slop–was infested with worms. When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited.
She was tortured like this for weeks until word was smuggled out to the press.
So, refresh my memory. Some women won’t vote this year because–why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work? Our vote doesn’t matter? It’s raining?
Last week, I went to a sparsely attended screening of HBO’s new movie ‘Iron Jawed Angels.‘ It is a graphic depiction of the battle these women waged so that I could pull the curtain at the polling booth and have my say. I am ashamed to say I needed the reminder.
All these years later, voter registration is still my passion. But the actual act of voting had become less personal for me, more rote. Frankly, voting often felt more like an obligation than a privilege. Sometimes it was inconvenient.
My friend Wendy, who is my age and studied women’s history, saw the HBO movie, too. When she stopped by my desk to talk about it, she looked angry. She was–with herself. ‘One thought kept coming back to me as I watched that movie,’ she said. ‘What would those women think of the way I use–or don’t use–my right to vote? All of us take it for granted now, not just younger women, but those of us who did seek to learn. ‘The right to vote,’ she said, had become valuable to her ‘all over again.’
HBO released the movie on video and DVD. I wish all history, social studies and government teachers would include the movie in their curriculum.
I want it shown on Bunco night, too, and anywhere else women gather. I realize this isn’t our usual idea of socializing, but we are not voting in the numbers that we should be, and I think a little shock therapy is in order.
It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn’t make her crazy.
The doctor admonished the men: ‘Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity.’
Please, if you are so inclined, pass this on to all the women you know.
We need to vote and use this right that was fought so hard for by these very courageous women.
What do you know about the Council On Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission? It would be prudent to know everything about them because they heavily influence United States governmental policies that are shaping our future and the lives we live.
Did you know that almost every top governmental position from the President, his cabinet and the appointed department heads down are members of one or both of these groups? Did you know that many people in Congress and leaders of industry are also members? Did you know that on the long list of major party candidates seeking the Presidency, every one of them except Ron Paul and Alan Keyes belong to these groups?
Are you now saying, so what?
Would you become concerned if you knew that these are private groups whose missions are not to follow and respect the US constitution, but to consolidate the United States with other nations? What better way to promote your agenda and shape events than to have people in key positions with the same mind set?
Agents of change have learned to be very patient but not to sway from their objectives. Think of it this way; you are hurrying through a busy day and stub your toe. You stop and tend to it because it is severe pain, but if your shoe is just a little tight and uncomfortable you put it out of your mind because other demands are more important. That’s how our lives are being changed, by individual incremental steps that pinch us a little but we learn to live with it.
Little planned pinches can and do result in large changes in the rules and laws we live under. Influence shapes the thinking and decisions from public schools to townships, to counties, to states and to federal levels.
Changes always seem noble. We see them as globalism, multiculturalism, diversity, sustained development, world heritage sites, etc. All are Socialist in nature and promote collectivist principles.
Wait a minute, doesn’t that mean that the three top contenders for President in the Democrat and Republican parties are Socialists?
If we look at their policies, it certainly does. Name issues they talk about that are constitutional. What happens when a candidate comes along and suggests we screen our policies on whether they are constitutional? They are ignored by the daily media and called kooks and extremists. Party leaders have a conniption fit, just like has been demonstrated at district conventions recently. We can only hope that equal opportunity for the exchange of ideas will be allowed at upcoming state and national conventions.
Both major party heads scream ” we must support and vote for the endorsed party candidate” or that “other” party will win. Just hold your nose and vote the party line. Well, rubbish. We are offered personalities, not qualified candidates. We are lured with promises of freebees. Positions on world issues are seldom discussed and we have learned that, when in office, there is no assurance candidates will follow campaign promises.
We must vote for candidates who believe in America, follow the US constitution and promote free enterprise and personal responsibility. It is these factors that have given us the quality of life we enjoy. If the major parties do not give us qualified candidates, find them elsewhere. That means each of us has a duty to learn all there is to know about those we vote for. Then demand honest voting. We can only be sure of our votes if they are paper votes, hand counted and supervised.
Aren’t you fed up with being manipulated by some elite group you have no control over?
We should have worked to have her removed from her office when she declared “impeachment is off the table” immediately after assuming the position of Speaker of the House. This statement was made with the full knowledge that the newly acquired position she occupied was a direct result of the will of the voters to replace the corruption of not only the Republican majority, but also the administration and to impeach Bush and Cheney. Princess Pelosi made her loyalties very clear, and they are not to the American people.
To add insult to injury, even after millions of American’s repeatedly stood up and demanded that there be no amnesty and that our laws be enforced, effectively preventing the passage of such odorous pieces of legislation such as the Dream Act ….which was a bitch slap to legal citizens….. not once, not twice, but three times at least, the Princess is continuing to work behind the scenes to produce yet another amnesty bill which she will try to ram through congress, due to come out early this summer. Maybe she’s hard of hearing? Maybe she can’t comprehend? Maybe she really does think that what the American people want is not an issue she has to be bothered with.
Now, Her Royal Hiney is working on a 178 billion dollar package to continue to fund the war in Iraq. Where, one might ask, does the Princess think she is going to find another $178 billion? We’ve already borrowed so much from China that they actually own us, and Japan is running a close second. Revenues are way down from taxes as so many have lost their jobs, their homes, and their quality of life.
The federal government contiinues to raid the Social Security surplus to pay its operating expenses and to cover the loss of revenues from the tax cuts to the wealthiest people, and the cost of illegal immigrants to the federal government jumped up to 240 billion for 2007. These two issues alone have bankrupted our country, and this does not include the state by state costs, deficits and resulting debts accrued. Now add the cost of this illegal war to all of these things. We are in effect…….not only bankrupt but totally insolvent as a nation. We can’t even pay the service debt on all the money we have borrowed. But the Princess wants to create another 178 billion dollar debt (this doesn’t include interest, fees, penalties, or other hidden costs) to continue to fund an unwinnable war that the American people have made very clear they want stopped.
I have a plan:
Until congress, the administration and its cohorts in crime work for the American people rather than against them, I believe all of their assets both liquid and invested, including homes, businesses, savings, assets from any source whatsoever, including all the personal funds that they are stashing away in foreign currencies and investments, should be seized and used to pay back these monstrous debts that they have created and claimed that we, the American citizen are responsible for. Maybe if they have to pay the bill for the money they have spent against our wishes, they might stop squandering it.
I think we should start with Princess Pelosi. First, she needs to be dethroned. Then, all of her ill gotten gains seized and applied to the debt she has helped to create. Once she is homeless, without any resources, with no political power, she may have an epiphany.
Ultimately, Pelosi is only one piece of the problem. Maybe its time we citizens think over the idea that congress is no longer representative of the people. Maybe its time we end congress. Having ceded so much of its power and authority to the executive branch, congress has ceased to be a needed branch of government. God knows congress doesn’t work for the people, opting instead to protect the corporatization of our government and country and actively working to protect those interests rather than those of the people who elected them. Think of the money that could be saved by ridding our selves of this monumental siphon on the public treasury.
Think of it as good business practices. No other corporation would tolerate the inactivity, the bad business decisions, the poor financial practices, or the ignoring of those invested in the corporation. Our government is in effect, a corporation and if this is how they want to operate, then as investers in that corporation we have a right to call a meeting and demand an accounting, and a voice in structure and board members.
Maybe if we start by removing Pelosi from the board of directors which is commonly called “congress”, other board members will get the message. Maybe not. But it would sure be a fine start in the right direction.
