Topic: Explain what Puppy Mills are and how to recognize and avoid them.
A puppy mill, also known as a puppy farm, is a commercial dog breeding facility characterized by quick breeding and poor conditions. Puppies from puppy mills are poorly bred which can lead to the puppy having health and temperament problems that can lead to the buyers surrounding them to rescue shelters.
Due to the frequently poor breeding conditions in puppy mills, puppies bred there often suffer from health and/or social problems. Puppies raised in a cramped environment shared by many other dogs become poorly socialized to other dogs and to humans. Dogs are then transported over long distances in poor conditions, sometimes resulting in animal stress and death.
Topics will be: Crisis going on in animal shelters. The backyard breeders and how the shelters are selling breeding license left and right to these people.

TS Radio Network: In Loving Memory of Marti Oakley who passed on April 1, 2023
Rest in Peace Marti! Your Voice Will Carry On!
Marti was a pioneer warrior and was not afraid of speaking out and up for others who could not speak for themselves. Her voice reached far and wide in the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom. As a speaker at the Whistle Blower Summit in raising awareness, she would draw crowds who wanted to hear her speak.
Marti had the gift of gab and an incredible wit that entertained her audience. She had a mind like a steel trap and could remember information and share with anyone who would listen. As Australia stated “As a person dies, a library is burned to the ground” – how true this is for Marti. She worked tirelessly for the sum of zero dollars as she volunteered her research and time hosting as well producing other hosts programs.
Marti was a warrior and a friend who loved her family and friends. She always spoke about her sons, granddaughters and her great grandchildren. Marti will never be forgotten and her legacy will continue with people speaking out and telling their truth and spreading light.
Marti hosted, or was a guest on, over 1,800 radio shows. Not only did Marti host her own blogtalk show, TS Radio, she started the show “Voices Carry for Animals” and TS Radio Network, in order to host other radios shows and cover as many issues as possible.
For over 15 years, (since 2008) Marti wrote articles on her blog, the PPJ Gazette. Marti was a Proud Political Junkie (PPJ). She spoke at the Whistleblowers Summit in Washington D.C., and hosted a radio show called “Whistleblowers!” (in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Whistleblowers Summit) to give whistleblowers support and a public voice.
Marti used her voice, and considerable strength, to help those who were most vulnerable. She brought national attention to the issue of guardianship abuse.
Marti had a photographic memory, and was one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. She used to tell me that one of her favorite things to do was to stay up late drinking coffee and reading Black’s Law Dictionary.
Marti railed against corporate, judicial and governmental corruption. She cast a spotlight on the aspects of many issues that weren’t being covered by mainstream news. Marti wrote and posted articles about the plight of black farmers and small farmers, the USDA, Monsanto, veterans, wild horses & burros, public lands, HAARP, hospice, vaccines, biosludge, and many other topics.
You name it, and Marti knew a LOT about it. And, thankfully, she was always happy to inform you of facts that you might not know. I could listen to her for hours. We didn’t agree on everything, but we respected each other and we both liked knowing many sides of an issue.
Marti was also fearless in expressing her opinions. I loved her for that.
Marti encouraged me to write my first article, and to start a radio show (“Wild Horse & Burro Radio”). That first radio show led to 6 years of radio shows with many guests, and included topics about abandoned mines, glyphosate (Monsanto’s Roundup), the trafficking and killing of wildlife, public land swaps and fracking wastewater being used to water crops.
Marti loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She wanted her work to make the world a better place for her family, and for all of us.
Marti was a fiercely loyal friend, and although I’ll miss her, I’m glad that she was in this world and feel lucky that she was a part of my life.

TOPIC: “Animal cruelty, proactive enforcement and the SPCA’s role”
Investigating cases of suspected animal cruelty and, because the officers have “police powers,” they also address any existing links between animal cruelty and child abuse, elder abuse, domestic violence, and human suffering of all kinds.
Slavery profited enormously from people of color who were kept powerless and ignorant during their short, traumatized lives. The US government helped maintain the system.
Dialysis claims all ethnicities but people of color go on the kidney machine two to three times more than American whites. Once on the kidney machine, a dialysis patient brings in as much as a modern day slave, $100,000 a year, to the owner of the dialysis unit. Average life expectancy on dialysis is only three years, much worse than slavery. Quality of life on dialysis is atrocious.
What makes dialysis like medical slavery is that it has been preventable since February, 1994, but nobody in healthcare will publicize it. CMS (Medicare) has been the Single Payer for dialysis since 1972, but had no interest in cutting 7% of their budget, some $35 billion a year, when I discussed my 2002 paper with them in October, 2004. Nor has any CMS Medical Director since.
It’s as if there had been no Abolitionists and no Civil War. Medically, it’s as if the iron lung industry had managed to suppress news of Jonas Salk’s vaccine, and children still come down with polio every summer. Unthinkable, but imagine if healthcare had decided to profit from polio like they continue to profit from dialysis.

TOPICS: Discuss Animal Wellness Action VICTORIES 2022 in Congress (e.g., FDA Modernization, Big Cats, etc.), and 2) Discuss AWA horse slaughter investigation
TOPIC: Update on Lucy the Elephant in Edmonton Zoo in Canada
Lucy the Elephant has been at the Edmonton Valley Zoo for 46 years and turns 48 this year. This is an ominous milestone as zoo elephants rarely survive to their mid forties. Lucy suffers from a number of zoo induced ailments which will shorten her life expectancy. She has no other elephant companions, which is considered cruel by elephant experts due to their highly complex social needs. The harsh Edmonton climate is detrimental to her health and painful for her ongoing arthritis and foot disease. Lucy lives in a tiny concrete cell and is only allowed outdoors for short controlled walks.
Drawing on the central historical and cultural role horses have played in the United States, AWA are working to ban the slaughter of horses for human consumption. Americans strongly oppose horse slaughter. AWA also working to ban the transport of all equines for the purposes of slaughter

TOPIC: The issue: The National Park Service policies for Point Reyes National Seashore, a 71,000-acre national park unit, favor private cattle operations over the welfare of wild Tule (“TOO-lee”) elk in the park.
224 Tule elk have died in just the last 2 years. 478 Tule elk have died in the last 10 years. Because the elk are fenced onto a drought-stricken, 2600-acre are, the so-called “Tule Elk Reserve” inside a 71,000-acre park.
And the cattle ranches – beef & dairy operations – don’t even own the land! They lease land from the federal govt., which is to say from the public, at half-market value – – which is why they don’t want to leave!

No one will argue that being a care provider is tough. Sometimes family members may become tired of caring for their loved one when that person requires more assistance or maybe they are worth more dead than alive. Sound sick, sinister or cruel? You bet it does, but the fact is that it is important to pick someone you trust to be your Medical Power of Attorney (MPOA) and Financial Power of Attorney (FPOA). It may or may not be the same person but you want someone who you trust and who loves you and has your best interest at heart. You should always talk about what your wishes are in the event you cannot speak for yourself. None of us know when we may draw our last breath and while these conversations are sad and depressing they are necessary and may save your life!
We are here to help answer questions.,hospice,
Join us Wednesday, September 28, 2022 and hear Suzette Husted Heathcote share the tragic stories about losing both of her parents within 18 months. Her Dad, George Husted was 81 when he passed on January 12, 2021 and her Mom, Annette Husted was 80 when she passed on July 6, 2022. Another tragic story of a sick individual not being treasured and cared for properly by medical professions who pass the buck to hospice when it costs too much money and after all they were old so why not? And hospice is an expert at hastening death as per the book Killing for Profit – The Dark Side of Hospice by Michelle Young Doers.
Hospice counts on our ignorance so let’s turn the story around and start being smarter than the death staff are and let’s save our loved ones! These are our people and they deserve the finest treatment and are not to be ignored, harmed, tortured and murdered.

“I was a real estate broker, developer and builder. As a licensed broker l needed to uphold fair housing laws. The problem was this all white community in Minnesota did not want any minorities. I said that is against the law and refused to evict a family of black folks. They put me in jail and forcefully removed the blacks using a crooked racist judge in Washington County who ruled against me.”
It was this incidence that set everything done to me in these 20 years, into motion. If you wish to contact Marlena: Operbro@aol.com

Tonight we’ll discuss the lucrative body parts trade. Anyone can set up shop. All it takes is a few freezers and a chainsaw. A Tennessee broker sold a cervical spine and two heads to a Reuters investigator after a few email exchanges. A New Mexico body broker was discovered only after heads with address tags were discovered in a Kansas Medical Waste Facility truck. Authorities found 127 body parts belonging to 45 people in a New Mexico warehouse. One head belonged to Farrah Fashold’s father. She hoped that Paul Montanto, owner of New Mexico’s BioCare, would be prosecuted, but the Attorney General could not find any state laws prohibiting the sale of body parts. This has proven to be true in many states. As a result, Mom and Pop Chop Shops have grown into far bigger businesses. MediCure sells 10,000 body parts annually to various states and 22 countries. ScienceCare reaps over $27 million in yearly sales by recruiting body donors through clergy, hospices, and online ads. Many unsuspecting families who donate a loved one’s body are unaware of the huge profits being made. What is being done to regulate this grisly occupation? Not much. A bill sits in Congress going nowhere.
