Cannabis for PTSD?

Marijuana Advocacy Network

So, let me see………we can test deadly vaccines on them by force, expose them to burn pits, douse them with agent orange and depleted uranium, contaminate the water they drink, build bases on top of toxic dump sites and never tell them they are being steadily poisoned…..but they have to be careful about marijuana????  We can send them into illegal wars of aggression where they can be severely injured or killed and then bring them home and do everything we can to make sure they either get a,

a) no access to VA benefits and care or,

b) subject them to more deadly vaccines, psychotropic drugs in massive doses

c) if all else fails, use electroshock on them to subdue them and shut them up.

Have I got all of this right?  Just want to make sure I understand that weed is far more dangerous (sarc) than what has been done by the government and military to our veterans or what we plan to do to them under the label of “care”.

Duty to Warn

“Christian Fundamentalist Dominonist theocracy is hard to distinguish from  Islamic Fundamentalist Sharia law (which is condemned so vociferously by conservative Christians). Some call it Christofascism.”

Duty to Warn

new-logo25By Gary G. Kohls, MD

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
55 years ago (July 2, 1961) an American literary icon, Ernest Hemingway, committed suicide at his beloved vacation retreat in Ketchum, Idaho. He had just flown to Ketchum after being discharged from a psychiatric ward at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he had received a series of electroconvulsive “treatments” (ECT) for a life-long depression that had started after he had experienced the horrors of World War I. In the “War To End All Wars” he had been a non-combatant ambulance driver and stretcher-bearer.
One of Hemingway’s wartime duties was to retrieve the mutilated bodies of living and dead humans and the body parts of the dead ones from the Italian sector of the WWI battle zone. In more modern times his MOS (military occupational specialty) might have been called Grave’s Registration, a job that – in the Vietnam War – had one of the highest incidences of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that arose in that war’s aftermath.
Hemingway, just like many of the combat-induced PTSD victims of every war, was likely haunted for the rest of his life by the horrific images of the wounded and dead, so there was no question that he had what was later to be understood as combat-induced PTSD with depression, panic attacks, nightmares, auditory and/or visual hallucinations and insomnia. Duty to Warn
“An irradiated crucifix lies in the ruins of the  Urakami Cathedral Following the Atomic Bombing of Nagasaki”
70 years ago (August 9, 1945) an all-Christian bomber crew dropped a plutonium bomb over Nagasaki City, Japan, instantly vaporizing, incinerating or otherwise annihilating tens of thousands of innocent civilians, a disproportionately large number of them Japanese Christians. The explosion mortally wounded uncountable thousands of other victims who succumbed to the blast, the intense heat and/or the radiation.
In 1945, the US was regarded as the most Christian nation in the world (that is, if you can label as truly Christian a nation whose churches are proponents of eye-for-an-eye retaliation, are supportive of America’s military and economic exploitation of other nations or otherwise fail to sincerely teach or adhere to the ethics of Jesus as taught in the Sermon on the Mount).
Ironically, prior to the bomb exploding nearly directly over the Urakami Cathedral at 11:02 AM, Nagasaki was the most Christian city in Japan, and the massive cathedral was the largest Christian church in the Orient.
Those baptized and confirmed Christian airmen, following their wartime orders to the letter, did their job efficiently, and they accomplished the mission with military pride, albeit with an astonishing number of near-fatal glitches in the mission. Most of us Americans would have done what the crew did if we had been in the shoes of the Bock’s Car crew. And, if we had never seen, heard or smelled the suffering humanity that the bomb caused on the ground, and if we had been treated as heroes in the aftermath, most of us would have experienced no remorse for our participation in what was retrospectively universally regarded as a war crime.
Indeed, the use of the most monstrous weapons of mass destruction in the history of warfare, was later defined by the Nuremberg Tribunal as an international war crime and a crime against humanity.
Of course, there was no way that the crew members knew that at the time of the mission. Some of the crew did admit that they had had some doubts about what they had participated in after the bomb actually detonated. But none of them actually witnessed the horrific suffering of the victims up close and personal. “Orders are orders” and disobedience in wartime is severely punishable, even by summary execution, so the crew obeyed the orders.
Making it Hard for Japan to Surrender
It had been only 3 days since the August 6th bomb had incinerated Hiroshima. The Nagasaki bomb was dropped amidst massive chaos and confusion in Tokyo, where the fascist military command was just beginning a meeting with the Emperor to discuss how to surrender with honor. The military and civilian leadership of both nations had known for months that Japan had lost the war.
The only obstacle to ending the war had been the Allied Powers insistence on unconditional surrender, which meant that the Emperor Hirohito would have been removed from his figurehead position in Japan and perhaps even subjected to war crime trials. That demand was intolerable for the Japanese, who regarded the Emperor as a deity.
The USSR had declared war against Japan the day before (August 8), hoping to regain territories lost to Japan in the humiliating (for Russia) Russo-Japanese War 40 years earlier, and Stalin’s army was now advancing across Manchuria. Russia’s entry into the war had been encouraged by President Truman before he knew of the success of the atom bomb test in New Mexico on July 16.
But now, Truman and his strategists knew that the bomb could elicit Japan’s surrender without Stalin’s help. So, not wanting to divide any of the spoils of war with the USSR, and because the US wanted to send an early cold war message to Russia that the US was the new planetary superpower, Truman ordered bomber command to proceed with using the atomic bombs as weather permitted and as they became available (although no more fissionable material was actually available to make a fourth bomb).
The Decision to Target Nagasaki
August 1, 1945 was the earliest deployment date for the Japanese bombing missions, and the Target Committee in Washington, D.C. had already developed a list of relatively un-damaged Japanese cities that were to be excluded from the conventional USAAF (US Army Air Force) fire-bombing campaigns (that, during the first half of 1945, had used napalm to burn to the ground over 60 essentially defenseless Japanese cities).
The list of protected cities included Hiroshima, Niigata, Kokura, Kyoto and Nagasaki. Those five cities were to be off-limits to the terror bombings that the other cities were being subjected to. They were to be preserved as potential targets for the new “gimmick” weapon that had been researched and developed in labs and manufacturing plants all across America over the several years since the Manhattan Project had begun.
10155281_461153860682070_1662322543_nThe Fed is now being touted by the London-headquartered international banking cabal as the savior of “domestic banking panics in the early 1900s.” They are also attempting to promote the Fed as the world’s “, , , financial steward in its current, privileged role at the center of the global monetary system. . .”
Say what?
Why would The City be attempting to shift the financial heat away from themselves and their Bank of England and the other 150 central banks they own and control (one of which is the Fed) along with the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), the Vatican (and its bank), the10 (+) square miles that comprises Washington, D.C., the two world wars they started, Vietnam, and the two (+) decades-old Middle East “wars” to the Fed—one of their central banks?
They are the world’s so-called “financial stewards”—have been for centuries—and own and control the world’s money through their central banks in the nations where their central banks are located (that print and sell those nations their money with interest) and are responsible for what comes out of congress, the media, and Wall Street. What appears to be worrying these financial Wizards of Oz is the light the ‘Net is shining on them, and the unemployed pitchforkers and scythers beginning to fill streets seeking a “. . . come, let us reason together” moment. Oz’s public position is to “save the planet’s resources” [read: for themselves] and all it implies; which includes humans; even as populations decline in developed countries and are leveling in undeveloped countries.
Opinion
The First Gulf war, fought to check Saddam Hussein’s attempt to take over Kuwait and its oil reserves, set off a series of Middle East military conflicts that have lasted more than two decades. Tragically, many veterans of these conflicts have returned home with serious medical problems; both physical and mental.
The VA, charged with meeting the medical needs of these veterans’  has been found lacking; sheer numbers, lack of funding, and incompetence being the most often cited reasons.
Medical problems for a large portion of these veterans  may very well have originated from the handling of—and battlefield exposure to—contaminated areas where U.S. ordinance containing depleted uranium (DU, or U238); used in the First Gulf war and all subsequent Middle East conflicts.
Radiation sickness at first appeared an obvious option for the veterans’ illnesses, but this was quickly tossed into the  Gulf War Syndrome (GWS) kettle, and later repositioned in the public’s mind as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Depression, headaches, weakness, fatigue, and multiple physical complications that varied among individuals, often accompany this exposure.
Yet, federally funded researchers didn’t make the radiation connection  following the First Gulf war—over in a few days because the distribution of the world’s oil supply was threatened—because congress and their handlers knew from the get-go there was not, and would not be, enough money in their U.S. piggy bank to fund the medical needs of these returning veterans’ once lawyers sunk their teeth into the causes of their illnesses, in my opinion.
Investigative reporter Katherine Russ wrote an accurate summary about the results of this  delayed medical care for our veterans , and a May 2011 ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals  directly addressed their mental health needs. More
