Education – Will Derail Comprehensive Immigration Reform

How Many More – The Theory

By Ruthie Hendrycks

October, 2010

As I have stated many times in the past “Education” is a very strong tool, and I believe it is just that, educating the public and our Legislators, that will bring the demise of H. 4321 presented by House Members Ortiz and Gutierrez and/or S. 3932 presented by Menendez.

But, one of the provisions not being discussed, that will have devastating effects to our nations sovereignty, safety, sustainability, population concerns and almost every aspect of citizenship is “The Family Unification Plan” referred to as Promoting Family Unity.

Let me say first and foremost, there should be absolutely no discussion of a Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) until our borders and ports are secured, primarily our southern border with military and/or a wall. We will not be fooled by the empty promises and lies, once again. I also believe these bills further erode the “Rule of Law” via amnesty. More

Immigration Law Enforcement Rally with Kris Kobach and Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Date: Tuesday, July 13, 2010
Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: MidAmerica Nazarine University at the Bell Center
Street: 2030 E. College Way

Kris Kobach, candidate for Kansas Secretary of State, welcomes Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona to Kansas City!

Come join us for an evening of learning from two experts in illegal immigration. Professor Kobach, a nationally recognized litigator and secretary of state candidate in Kansas, has worked successfully for several years defending cities and states against the ACLU on the matter of illegal immigration. He is most noted for his recent co-authorship of Arizona’s SB1070, which has gained much national attention for its strict adherents to the rule of law. He also served in the U.S. Department of Justice as personal counsel to Attorney General John Ashcroft form 2001-03.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has served 4 terms as Sheriff of Maricopa county and has gained national acclaim for employing unique programs within the county’s jail system. Sheriff Joe has reduced costs and increased effectiveness by using such simple measures as denying prisoners daily delivery of salt and pepper with their meals ,and by ordering all “whites”, such as socks and underwear, to be dyed pink.

To become one of “Sheriff Joe’s Deputies,” meet Sheriff Joe and get a photo with him, the cost is $250. Please contact Ben Davis at 316-210-2450 or btdavis1@gmail.com

Arizona Has It Right

By Chuck Baldwin   April 30, 2010

This column is archived here:

“The first study of the net cost of illegal immigration to American taxpayers was conducted in 1997 by Dr. Donald Huddle, Professor Emeritus of Economics at Rice University. This study concluded that from 1970 to 1997, illegal immigration had cost taxpayers over $69 billion. Obviously, the financial numbers have exploded since then.”

Open borders advocates are livid that the State of Arizona has enacted a new law authorizing State law enforcement personnel to arrest illegal aliens. The Reverend Al Sharpton is threatening to march. The mayor of San Francisco has declared Arizona off limits as a travel destination. The national government of Mexico has issued travel warnings. President Barack Obama is contemplating bringing a federal lawsuit against the State. Some are calling for a boycott of the State.

So, why all the fuss?

The State of Arizona is rightly sick and tired of the federal government’s refusal to protect our nation (and the State of Arizona specifically) from this foreign invasion that is commonly referred to as “illegal immigration.”

In other words, the State of Arizona has said, “If the federal government won’t enforce the law, we will.” I say, good for them! Now, the other border states (Texas, New Mexico, and California) should do the same thing. Arizona has it right, and the vast majority of the American people know it. More

Dear Mr. Armey: you don’t speak for the Tea Party movement

Dear Mr. Armey and Freedom Works:

I welcome the support of Freedom Works with regards to the many issues we find our nation faced with today and especially those in the efforts fighting illegal immigration.

However with that said, Mr. Armey, as a representative of Freedom Works – you no more speak for me on the issue of illegal immigration than do others with opposing views.

I do realize that you have the right to speak your mind and share your views – just as I do – however your action of throwing groups, organizations and individuals “under the bus” who disagree with you… is disturbing not to mention in direct violation of what the Tea Party Movement stands for. New TV Ads Tie Massive Unemployment to Lack of Immigration Enforcement

CAPS and its partners in the Coalition for the American Worker launched two new TV ads asking why the President and congressional leaders have cut job site enforcement of immigration laws at a time when at least 8 million jobs are held by illegal foreign workers and so many Americans are unemployed.

While President Obama says his top priority is jobs he apparently does not mean jobs for Americans. The Country faces the highest unemployment rate in decades. Americans desperately need jobs. Yet the Obama Administration is reducing worksite enforcement of immigration laws even though worksite enforcement opens jobs for Americans.

When illegal workers are caught, they’re not often deported, which means they can take another American job. Also, the U.S. continues to admit more than a million foreign workers a year to take American jobs. Good paying jobs. Our ads ask viewers to call the White House at 202-456-1414 and tell the President that Americans want their jobs back!

Judge Bans Use Of “Illegal” and “Aliens”

Below is yet another assault on our amendment rights in the United States of America. We, the law abiding citizens can be called every name in the book when supporting OUR LAWS, but when the correct terminology is used to describe law breakers, this judge takes it upon herself to stifle our amendment rights. What next –

undocumented borrowers for bank robbers,

transportation specialists for human smugglers – absurd!

They are not immigrants either – that term is reserved for people who OBEY the law and enter the US with a green card or then become a legal resident.

I will not abide.

(see articles below)

THEREFORE………Let It Be Known……………………

Arizona Supreme Court Justice Ruth McGregor

Hispanic Bar Association

Arizona State Ethics Board

I, as an American, reserve my right to “Free Speech” and will continue to

refer to those who enter this Country in an unlawful manner as ILLEGAL ALIENS..

I would refer both Justice McGregor and the Hispanic Bar Assoc. to federal law,

US CODE Section 8 sub sections 1324 and 1325 for verification to usage of the term illegal alien,

and advise both Judge McGregor and the Hispanic Bar Association to future read  US code,1101(a) 3 which defines an “alien”.

The contention that no person is illegal is absurd – their ignorance of our laws and illegal entry into this Country gives them the title – ILLEGAL ALIEN.

To date, the United States of America remains a democracy – with individual rights and I will continue to exercise my right of Freedom of Speech. We are not and shall continue to …. combat socialism/communism,  which is exactly what you are advocating in your recent ruling by restricting specific terminology – for a bias agenda.

The truth speaks for itself – something You and the Hispanic Bar Association are attempting to stifle – The American People are smarter than either of you give them credit for and our rights will continue to be heard.

Update on bailout funding for LaRaza and others…..MINSIR

 Great News –

This afternoon I spoke with Oberstar’s (D) Minnesota, aide. I called to say no bailout for supplements to special interest groups that fund, lobby or advocate for sub prime mortgage loans to illegal aliens.

We had a brief discussion on the issue and then he said…

“Well then this news should interesting for you”

“All provisions that deal with mortgage funding to special interest groups

has been removed from the current solutions”

This is great news as long as it holds true.  I will keep you updated with new information as it comes in

Commentary by Ruthie

Within the current talks in Washington on how to deal with the mismanagement of our financial system by the very people who created the problem, there is one issue that is NOT being discussed – sub prime mortgages to illegal aliens. Nor do I believe without our voices being heard loud and clear by those elected to oversee these regulations, that there will be no discussion to address and correct the issue.

Many of those that discuss this current bailout day in and day out admit that sub prime housing loans escalated where we are today. And, the stories of, fraudulent activities and housing mortgages to illegal aliens is available.

Why are American homeowners and taxpayers being subject to pay for the activities of an administration, politicians and government agencies that demanded mortgage companies fund these loans?

It is illegal to aid and abet illegal aliens

US Code Section 8 sub sections 1324 and 1325.

It is illegal to change or ignore qualifications for home ownership.

And consider this – those illegally in the country have nothing to loose they can simply walk away from this debt leaving the American citizen holding the bag.

CONTACT ANY, MANY OR THOSE WHO YOU WOULD LIKE and D E M A N D the return to law and order and absolutely ….

No bail out to those who broke the law and aided and abetted illegal alien activity.

No funds to SPECIAL INTERESTS and LOBBYISTS that do not put the interests of the AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST.

No bailout or funding to those not legally in this Country.

They are not discussing this issue because within the current negotiations they would rather slip the issue into the talks WITHOUT educating the American people.

Please make the calls – if you cannot call – search out the person you would like to contact and email them – REPEATEDLY

No amnesty

Secure our borders

Enforce the LAW!!!!

If we do not stop the never ending financial drain of Americans and legal residents in this country to those who have done nothing more than break the law and enter this country illegally, we will be paying – as will our children and grandchildren – for generations to come – COMMON SENSE, LAW AND ORDER and the INTERESTS OF AMERICANS FUTURE must be address NOW.

Minnesota’s DFL votes in favor of illegal immigrants and against the people of Minnesota

From the article:

“The average House DFLers cast two dozen votes that put privileges and benefits for illegal aliens ahead of Minnesota citizens in 2007 and 2008. Here are the facts.

Illegal aliens do place extreme costs on Minnesota taxpayers – – in terms of crime, health care, schools, tax burdens, and social benefits.

According to the Department of Corrections, there are over 500 foreign-born felons in Minnesota prisons – – for murder, child molestation, drug-pushing, rape, armed robbery, and other serious and violent crimes. One out of every 16 felons we pay to guard is not from America. It is estimated that more than 10,000 more alien criminals are in our local jails or county probation systems. [1]

Health care costs for illegal aliens are also massive. By federal law, Minnesota hospitals must provide very expensive emergency medical care to undocumented aliens. Lenient medical facilities frequently provide more than the minimum services, and pass the cost along, either to working Minnesotans who have health insurance or to the taxpayers who reimburse hospitals for “charity care.” A 2005 report to the Governor estimates that such expenses exceeded $17 million in FY 2005. [2]

Students are taught in over 90 languages in the Minneapolis school district, and illegal aliens have over 14,000 children in Minnesota schools. [3] Until the House DFLers took control in 2007, school districts received extra state funds to make students proficient in English for five years, and then had to pass the burden for teaching them English to local taxpayers. That incentive to teach students to speak English within five years has been eliminated by the new House DFL majority. [4]

Minnesota taxpayers also pay for social welfare benefits for illegal aliens. [5]

The primary duty for dealing with the issue of illegal aliens indeed does rest with the federal government. But almost every time that even small local action was proposed, House DFLers took the side of illegal aliens over taxpaying Minnesotans.

For example, when four schoolchildren were killed when a van hit a school bus, it took police days to probe through the false identities of the illegal alien who was pulled from the van. House Republicans proposed the modest idea of cracking down harder on the people who provide false documents used to get driver’s licenses for illegal aliens. The bill did not even get to the House floor. [6] In fact, House DFLers even voted against requiring that the test for a Minnesota driver’s license be given in English. [7]”

Minnesotans Seeking Immigration Reform

It just seems to be a never ending nightmare.  Democrats are fishing for more votes seeming not to realize how many legal voters they will lose and Republicans fake an opposition.  All this while Minnesota struggles under the burden of illegal immigration.

In either case legal residents are being forced to subsidize illegal residents and their families while jobs disappear, homes are foreclosed and gas and food become unobtainable.

Churches, which have no other interest other than filling their pews with people willing to donate, ask us to view these people as refugees.  They are not.  Neither are they running from genocide or war or from economic desperation.  These people simply took advantage of Bush’s open door invitation and illegally entered the country.

Although I could never call myself a Republican, the DFL/Democrat party has distanced itself so far from where I am, I have no choice but to register as an Independent and vote for anyone other than a Republican or Democrat.
