Guest Speaker: Terri LaPoint

Terri LaPoint was the lead investigative journalist for MedicalKidnap.com, a division of Health Impact News for more than four years, where she investigated and published articles on hundreds of cases involving family members, mostly children, taken from their families by Child or Adult Protective Services. She continues her work as an independent investigative journalist at RealNewsSpark.com. Terri wrote the recent articles about Marion Leonard who was medically kidnapped and held in a facility in Alabama where her daughter Nancy Scott was blocked from seeing her. Terri visited Mrs. Leonard several times before the hospice drug cocktail hastened her death on August 24, 2019.

The intent of the show is to inform people about the potential dangers, terminology and red flags of the current hospice. Stealth Euthanasia is happening across the country as elderly and disabled are being targeted for early death and deemed unworthy of life. You have the right to question doctors decisions, refuse drugs, be a part of “the plan” and/or refuse hospice altogether. Never accept what you are being told without verifying.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen states “The refusal to take sides on great moral issues is in itself a decision. It is a silent acquiescence to evil. The tragedy of our time is that those who still believe in honesty lack fire and conviction, while those who believe in dishonesty are full of passionate conviction.” Which will you choose to be?

Tampa Bay area hospitals seeking to strip away patients’ rights, I-Team investigation finds

TAMPA, Fla. — Hospitals across the Florida are paying lawyers to go to court to take away patients’ rights, a three-month I-Team investigation uncovered.

I-Team Investigator Adam Walser found hospitals in Orlando, Miami, West Palm Beach, Naples and other Florida cities paying private attorneys to file hundreds of court petitions to put patients into guardianship.

An I-Team review of state court records found:

  • Tampa Bay area hospitals, including those owned by Baycare, AdventHealth and HCA, went to court to put more than 100 patients into guardianship since 2017 alone.
  • Tampa General Hospital filed five nearly identical court documents seeking guardianship for patients, describing each as having “disorganized thinking and poor cognition.” A hospital spokeswoman said TGH spent $28,000 on guardianship cases so far in just 2019.
  • An attorney for Florida Hospital Altamonte requested guardianship for a patient because her “Kia Soul that was almost paid off… may be repossessed.”

Tampa guardianship attorney Gerald Hemness questioned hospitals’ widespread use of guardianship.

“Certainly, missing a payment on a car doesn’t seem like it would be a financial emergency,” said Hemness. More

The Devil Lives in Virginia: The Conspiracy that Killed Anastasia Adams – by Yolanda Adams-Bell

“The devil is the personification of evil as it is conceived in many and various cultures and religious traditions. It is seen as the objectification of a hostile and destructive force.”

-Wikipedia

The Devil Lives in Virginia chronicles the story of Anastasia Adams’ nine-month ordeal from her abduction to her murder from the viewpoint of her family.  It is a story of a family’s desperate fight and struggle to free Anastasia from a system (and its predatory guardianship) that was created to help individuals like her but instead abandoned her to nine months of untold pain and suffering.  It is a story of massive obstruction, the powerful and morally bankrupt preying on the weak and those that protect them from accountability.  It is a story of public apathy and indifference to the abuse, neglect and torture that is right under their noses and within their line of sight.  It is the ultimate commentary on the attitude “if it doesn’t affect me it does not matter, it does not exist”.  It is a story of lives – countless lives lost, but most importantly it is a story of two sisters, a bond that only sisters share, and their love for one another.

In 2005 Yolanda became her sister Anastasia’s sole caregiver after she suffered a brain injury.  On February 15, 2017 after being hospitalized for pneumonia and developing fluid around her heart and a hospital born infection Yolanda’s sister Anastasia was abducted by Inova Fairfax Hospital, a well-known and major level one trauma center in the Washington, D.C. suburbs of Northern Virginia, through a legally questionable guardianship.  While in the custody of Inova’s contracted guardians Anastasia allegedly suffered horrendous neglect and abuse.  When Yolanda blew the whistle on what Inova, their guardians, and the Fairfax County Circuit Court, were doing the guardians isolated and then allegedly killed her sister.  Nine months after abducting Anastasia the guardians ended her life through dehydration and starvation.  After 6 days without food or water, doped up on the opiates Fentanyl, Morphine, and other sedating medications Anastasia succumbed and died on November 16, 2017. Due to the guardians severe restrictions on visitation for Anastasia she died alone, without family or clergy there to comfort her.

Yolanda is now focused on ensuring what happened to her much beloved sister never happens to anyone else because elderly and disabled lives matter.

Who Is Your Doctor?

Who Is Your Doctor?

by: Jane M. Orient, M.D.

People used to know who their doctor was. His name and phone number were on the wall or the refrigerator next to the telephone. He was there for you and could manage most of your problems.

When I was about 13, my mom took me to our pediatrician for belly pain. He was on his way out the door, but he stopped to take care of me. He diagnosed appendicitis based on history and physical examination. He called his favorite surgeon (“Billy,” a Tucson legend), who came from the golf course to meet me in the emergency room. Within hours, my red-hot appendix was in a jar. My parents paid the hospital bill ($150—10 days’ pay for a construction laborer) as I was discharged a few days later.

Today, the patient with abdominal pain could wait for hours to see the ER provider—possibly a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who had never seen a case of acute appendicitis. She’ll probably get a CT scan, after another wait. Eventually, Dr. On-call may take her to the operating room, hopefully before the appendix ruptures. And the bill will be beyond the means of ordinary people.

I used to be able to direct-admit patients from my office and send them with a set of orders to the hospital admitting office. For years, this has been impossible. The hospital is decidedly unfriendly to independent doctors. There’s now a gatekeeper in the emergency room, and most patients are under the control of a hospitalist. More

Hospital Sponsored Guardianships: Another threat to the elderly, disabled and children

“In the event that your family member or friend is being targeted by the hospital you do have a few options that may be of help, according to various BAR Union members. Of course these things are usually only available if you received due notice of hearing of the intention of the hospital to take your family or friend, prisoner. Still, filing these motions could stall out what is sure to be a dangerous state of affairs for the individual targeted.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As if the guardianship scams that target the elderly, children, the disabled and those chronically ill, most especially when there is a sizable estate involved by legal predators and equally predatory professional guardians was not enough, the medical industry is now entering into the game. Hospitals, whose only function is to care for the sick, are now openly engaging in the capture and hostage taking of individuals whom they claim are incapacitated. Never mind that their actions most likely caused any actual incapacity. Or most often, what is nothing more than a fraudulent statement claimed by those involved that an incapacity exists, when in fact, no evidence can be provided or will be provided to substantiate the claim.
In any of the instances sighted above, simply asking for a second opinion, or disagreeing with the doctors on types of treatments, medications or other intended services, can trigger a hospital initiated guardianship. In the case of children, disagreeing with doctors about diagnosis, treatment or other measures can result in the medical kidnapping of the child by the hospital.
In virtually all of these medical kidnappings for profit, no due process is observed and no notice of hearing is served. The individual is now a virtual prisoner taken hostage by the hospital, the doctors and the attorney’s. The guardianship is granted before anyone can object and the newly reclassified medical prisoner only finds out about their new classification, after the fact. They can no longer speak for themselves, refuse damaging medications, vaccines, surgeries or other needless or harmful interventions all predicated upon the bottom line profits of the hospital. The medical kidnappings are not about protecting the life of the medical prisoner, but rather leveraging the situation so that the hospital continues to profit. Once the deadlines loom on Medicare and Medicaid, or other insurance, the hospital will move quickly to ensure that their bottom line stays in the black, even if it is detrimental to the life of the patient.
