TOPIC WILL BE: CRITICAL Issues going on in horse racing with doping- Horse Racing Integrity & Safety Act. and UPDATE on Bob Baffert

This Act creates a Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (“Authority”) as a private self-regulatory organization. The Authority must develop rules related to horseracing, including anti-doping, medication control and racetrack safety rules. The FTC is given broad oversight over the Authority.

Animal Wellness Action is a 501(c) organization with a mission of helping animals by promoting legal standards forbidding cruelty. AWA champion causes that alleviate the suffering of companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife. AWA advocate for policies to stop dogfighting and cockfighting and other forms of malicious cruelty and to confront factory farming and other systemic forms of animal exploitation.
