Oath Keepers from New York are holding their Second Annual Awards Dinner in Albany, NY on June 11th. Coming to this event will be fellow Oath Keepers from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Montana as well as activist representatives from over twenty Constitutional and Liberty organizations.
The Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving, retired and veteran military, reserves, National Guard, Police and Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who, at one or more times in their life, have taken an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Their oath is to the Constitution, not to any elected office holder or other politician. The Oath Keepers is an organization consisting of tens of thousands of active duty and retired military, police and fire personnel, who have at one or more times in their lives taken an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. These Oaths do not expire and they take them with the utmost seriousness. Whether or not their fellow citizens have sworn a similar Oath, many of them are in agreement on these points, and understand just how important this issue is to New York Oath Keepers, as well as to hundreds of thousands of other New Yorkers.
The New York Oath Keepers will be giving three constitutional awards to three very deserving recipients at their first annual awards dinner to be held at the Marriott Hotel, on Wolf Road, in Albany on June 11th, but it is the KARL MARX AWARD that is getting the most attention, because the recipient will not be named until the night of the dinner.
The New York Oath Keepers have been designated by the New York State Intelligence Center as a “right wing extremist group” simply for standing up for the constitutional rights of their fellow citizens. The Oath Keepers believe that many of our federal and state politicians are really “Oath Breakers” who are true believers in the big socialist government model where they can control every facet of the people’s lives. As true believers of Marx, Hitler, Mussolini and Mao, these ‘Oath Breaking’ politicians must first take the people’s guns so there can be no resistance as they implement their Marxist agenda.
Because many of the highest ranking progressive socialist politicians at both the federal level and the New York State level appear to be in complete agreement with the principles exposed by Karl Marx, the Oath Keepers of New York decided to return the favor and created the ‘KARL MARX AWARD’ in order to designate one of these individuals as a “left wing extremist” who by his or her actions has done more to destroy the unalienable rights of the people, divide the country or a state by class and race, to destroy the constitutional limits on government as outlined in the U.S. Constitution, while at the same time implementing many of tenets of the ‘Communist Manifesto,’ as written by Karl Marx and Frederich Engels, into our Republic.

In a move meant to openly defy U.S. Senate Republicans, President Barack Obama has nominated a judge to fill Justice Antonin Scalia’s open Supreme Court seat.
And Obama’s pick appears to be no friend of the Second Amendment or private gun ownership rights.
At a morning press conference in the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday, Obama formally announced his nomination of federal appeals court judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.
The pick sets up a confrontation with Republicans leaders, who say they will refuse to consider his nomination in an election year.
Garland, 63, is the chief judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, a court whose influence over federal policy and national security matters has made it a proving ground for potential Supreme Court justices.
He would replace conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, who died unexpectedly last month, leaving behind a bitter election-year fight over the future of the court.
Garland will be a hard sell to the Republicans that control the Senate, which must confirm any nominee, because of Garland’s opposition to the Second Amendment.
According to The National Review, “Garland has a long record, and, among other things, it leads to the conclusion that he would vote to reverse one of Justice Scalia’s most important opinions, D.C. vs. Heller, which affirmed that the Second Amendment confers an individual right to keep and bear arms.”
In 2007, Garland supported upholding a Washington, DC gun law that was called the most restrictive in the nation. The law, eventually struck down, banned private ownership of handguns and wouldn’t let citizens even keep them in their homes.
Garland also supported other restrictive gun control measures during the Clinton administration.
“Garland thought all of these regulations were legal, which tells us two things,” the National Review wrote. “First, it tells us that he has a very liberal view of gun rights, since he apparently wanted to undo a key court victory protecting them. Second, it tells us that he’s willing to uphold executive actions that violate the rights of gun owners.”
GOP leaders want to leave the Supreme Court choice to the next president, denying Obama a chance to alter the ideological balance of the court before he leaves office next January. Republicans contend that a confirmation fight in an election year would be too politicized.
When former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said, “I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that that President Obama loves America. He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.” It took a lot of guts for Rudy to say it, because almost immediately he was attacked by Democrats, the national liberal media and even a few “deflated” Republicans. The attack on Giuliani was almost instantaneous. Anyone who even hinted that they might support Giuliani or had doubts about Mr. Obama’s love for America had to be attacked as mean spirited, cruel, unpatriotic and if those words didn’t work, they had to be called racists.
It was not that Rudy Giuliani wasn’t telling the truth because he was. It was because it was politically incorrect to say such a thing about a sitting president, even though Barack Obama pretty much said the same thing about President George W. Bush while Bush was still the president and Obama was a U.S. Senator. Although I agree with Mr. Giuliani that Barack Obama does not love America, I will go a step further and say it is more serious than our current president not loving this country.
If you remember, before and right after Barack Obama was elected President, he said that he was going to fundamentally transform or change America. If he did really love America, why is he trying so hard to fundamentally change it into a socialist country where the federal government has absolute power over the people? The answer is simple. He wants to change it, not because he loves America, but because he doesn’t even like it. Here is a summary of the three incidents that the NYSIC used to justify their unwarranted connection to the New York Oath Keepers and other constitutional Liberty groups in New York State.
Incident #1: On June 4, 2014, Justin Bourque, a 24-year-old male in New Brunswick, Canada, with no criminal record, shot and killed three Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officers and was later captured. The report states: “…he struggled to hold a job, turned to drugs, and became increasingly obsessed with guns (particularly the ongoing U.S. gun debate which has spilled over to a lesser degree to Canada) and abuses by police.”
In reviewing Incident #1, where, exactly, is the connection to the New York Oath Keepers and other NY Liberty groups?
Incident #2: On June 6, 2014, Dennis Marx, a 48-year-old male in Forsyth County, Georgia, was shot and killed by Deputies trying to enter the county courthouse with a so-called “assault” rifle, body armor, an assortment of grenades, ammunition, food, water and flexible handcuffs. The NYSIC bulletin states: “Marx was scheduled to appear before a judge at the courthouse that morning on eleven felony drug and weapons charges. As to motive, Marx had long running issues with law enforcement and was a self-identified sovereign citizen.”
Again, in reviewing Incident #2, where, exactly, is the connection to the New York Oath Keepers and other NY Liberty group?
The American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2013 – Repeals the United Nations Participation Act of 1945 and other specified related laws. It directs the President to terminate U.S. membership in the United Nations (U.N.), including any organ, specialized agency, commission, or other formally affiliated body.
Requires closure of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. Prohibits:
(1) the authorization of funds for the U.S. assessed or voluntary contribution to the U.N.,
(2) the authorization of funds for any U.S. contribution to any U.N. military or peacekeeping operation,
(3) the expenditure of funds to support the participation of U.S. Armed Forces as part of any U.N. military or peacekeeping operation,

“Recently in Connecticut, the state notified gun owners who have not complied with their unconstitutional gun registration laws that they must surrender their semi-automatic rifles or risk being arrested for a felony. How does turning 300,000 plus law-abiding citizens into criminals overnight, happen in America?”
As you know, the New York Safe Act was passed in the middle of the night by the New York City dominated New York State Legislature and signed by a Governor who would be president, without any input from the people. Who will be safer under this unconstitutional law? It definitely will not be the law-abiding citizens of New York who, if we comply, would have some of our ability to defend ourselves taken away. The law might be better named the NY SAFE ACT FOR CRIMINALS because violent criminals who carry illegal guns will never comply. They have never complied with any gun control laws and they will continue to use all banned weapons with the largest capacity magazines they can get their hands on. Only the law-abiding citizens like us and police officers like you, will now be at a disadvantage, not the criminals.
The origin of gun control in New York State goes back to 1911 when a Democrat State Senator from New York City named “Big Tim Sullivan” pushed for gun control in New York City. He was a Tammany Hall crook and a criminal overseer of gangs in New York City. Sullivan sponsored the gun-control law (later called the Sullivan Act) that mandated police-issued licenses for handguns and made it a felony to carry an unlicensed concealed weapon in NYC. When it passed, ordinary law-abiding citizens were disarmed, which solved another problem for the NYC criminals. It seems that gangsters had been bitterly complaining to State Senator Sullivan and NYC politicians that the victims of their criminal attacks sometimes shot back at them. In other words, the good guys were shooting the bad guys and State Senator Sullivan and other political crooks could not let that happen.
We know that Governor Cuomo and the Democrat controlled legislature arbitrarily came up with their own definitions of what so called ‘Assault Weapons’ are. The definitions were concocted out of thin air by a group of New York City socialists who obviously know nothing about guns. One of the things they identified that makes certain rifles ‘assault weapons’ was if a rifle had a lug on it for a bayonet. Never mind the fact that no person in New York State has been murdered or even assaulted by a person using a rifle with a bayonet attached to it in well over a hundred years. It doesn’t matter to these socialists because they will say and do anything to take our guns. That is and always has been their ultimate goal.
Certain rifles legally purchased in the past by American citizens, who happen to reside in New York State, are now illegal to purchase or sell to another state resident. Why has the New York State legislature concentrated their efforts on turning hundreds of thousands of your fellow New Yorkers into criminals?
The New York State Sheriffs Association and the County Clerks Association have taken positions opposing the NY SAFE Act as unconstitutional, as have 52 county legislatures and over 150 towns and villages in the State. In addition, there are at least 4 lawsuits currently working their way through the court system. All of these lawsuits have identified specific sections of the NY SAFE Act that are violations of both the New York State Constitution and the U.S. Constitution. All of these organizations have called for either amending the bill or called for the outright repeal of the law in order to start over with some input from the people. More

I believe that our individual Freedoms and Liberties, as well as our nation’s sovereignty, are in danger because of the unconstitutional actions of our federal government, both Republicans and Democrats. I was a New York delegate to Continental Congress 2009, held in St. Charles, Illinois from November 11th to November 22nd, 2009 and I am also a signer to the “Articles of Freedom.”
I firmly believe that the time has come to establish a third party, a nationalist party, whose members and elected representatives truly support the United States Constitution. I am always amazed when so-called liberal, progressive, or socialist politicians and/or members of the national media refer to people like me, who believe in Liberty and individual freedom, as Right Wing Extremists, Nazis or Fascists simply because we believe that the U.S. Constitution is the law of the land and should be followed by all elected and appointed government officials at every level of government.
These progressive politicians and members of the national media, continually use a ‘Left-Right Paradigm’ to classify Constitutionalists, Conservatives and Tea Party types as extremists and place them on the right side of the paradigm, while the so-called enlightened liberals and progressives see themselves somewhere on the left side of the paradigm.
In the United States today, the Left-Right Paradigm is in reality a false paradigm that gives people the public appearance that there are two main opposing political groups, the Republicans and Democrats. These two major political parties, like magicians, cleverly give the illusion that they have basic differences in their national and world views, but in reality, both political parties share the common goals of staying in power, moving our country towards a socialist-style, big government, nanny state where a sizable majority of the people will be dependent upon elected and appointed government officials, from both parties, giving them government handouts or other assistance.
Although publically, the Republicans and Democrats seem to disagree on major and minor issues that divide the nation, they are really just using these issues to manipulate and rally certain segments of the public behind one side of the issue or the other, with the real purpose being and to get donations for the cause, whatever it may be. The basic idea behind this practice is to keep the American people divided so that each party can maintain control over those people within their party’s sphere of influence who think the way the party leaders do. What is also interesting about this new law that was rushed through the legislature in the middle of the night is that there is a requirement that there can only be a maximum of seven bullets in a magazine. How did they come up with this magic number of seven? Unfortunately, the hastily passed legislation did not even exclude police officers. So, the criminals will have any number of bullets in their illegal guns, because they do not obey gun laws anyway, and the police officers and law-abiding citizens will be limited to seven. Never mind that seven bullet magazines are not even made in the USA.
The NY SAFE ACT makes certain rifles legally purchased in the past by American citizens, who happen to reside in New York State, illegal to purchase or sell to another state resident. This is clearly unconstitutional. Why has the New York State legislature concentrated their efforts on turning law-abiding American citizens into criminals using ex-post facto laws? COLUMBIA COUNTY – The Columbia County District Attorney is making good on a promise not to prosecute a man arrested under the SAFE Act.
DA Paul Czajka said he would not prosecute Gregory Dean Jr.
Mr. Dean, 31, of Hopewell Junction in Dutchess County, was pulled over earlier this month after State Police say the light over his license plate was out. He was found to be driving his car while having a suspended driver’s license, a misdemeanor under the state’s Vehicle and Traffic Law.
During the processing for driving while having a suspended license, Mr. Dean was found to be in possession of a licensed handgun that had 9 bullets in the magazine (2 bullets more than legally allowed under the NY SAFE Act). The State Police then charged him under the violation of the SAFE ACT.
When he appeared in the town Court to face the gun charges, the District Attorney said he would not prosecute and the charge was dismissed. Mr. Dean still faces the Driving while Suspended chsarges.
A large crowd of Pro-Second Amendment supporters was on hand at the court to support Mr. Dean.
:RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT OF LIBERTY!
From the moment I stood in the lobby of the Pheasant Run Hotel and Conference Center in St. Charles Illinois on the morning of November 11, 2009, I knew that this would be an important gathering of American citizens. By the end of the day, more than one hundred and twenty delegates from 48 states had arrived and we began the deliberations of the Continental Congress 2009 that would last 11 days.
All of the delegates had high hopes that something good would come from this effort; something that would help the America people find their way at this crucial time in our history. When it comes to women and their Second Amendment Rights, I believe that the Democrat-Socialist Gun Control advocates on the Left really believe in the theory that a young woman found raped and murdered in an alley or in the parking lot of some college campus that is a ‘Gun Free Zone’ is somehow morally superior to a self-sufficient, Independent American Woman who tells the police how and why she fatally shot her attacker with her licensed handgun.

American Women are the fastest-growing demographic among gun owners in the United States. Between 2005 and 2013, the percentage of women in America owning a firearm jumped from 13% to 23%, and more and more women are undergoing training in their use and demanding their Second Amendment rights for personal protection. Ten thousand second amendment supporters showed up at the state capital in Albany to protest the passage of the NY SAFE ACT which requires the owners of certain rifles newly classified as "assault rifles" to register their rifles with the NY State Police or face criminal charges.
Every time Cuomo’s name was mentioned, the crown booooed.
This is believed to be the largest crowd that has ever shown up for any rally at the State Capital.
Over 150 members of the OathKeepers organization were also present and came from all across the state. They were highly visible because of the black shirts with the word ‘OathKeepers ‘ stamped in gold across their chest.
When it comes to registering or surrendering weapons of any kind, the OathKeepers have a slogan: “Molon Labe” that comes from the ancient Greek, which means “Come and take”. It is a classical expression of defiance reportedly spoken by King Leonidas I in response to the Persian army’s demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.
Molon labe has been repeated by many later generals and politicians in order to express an army’s or nation’s determination not to surrender. Molon Labe is the motto of United States Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) and the expression “Come and take it” was a slogan in the Texas Revolution. The OathKeepers are now telling the Federal government and the NY State government to “Come and take it.”
To a person, the people in attendance indicated that they will not register their rifles with New York State as it is a violation of their Second Amendment Rights.
The resistance the the NY SAFE ACT is definitely growing across the state. Over 30 counties in New York have now passed resolutions calling the NY SAFE ACT unconstitutional. Several NY Sheriffs were also in attendance and they said they will not have any part in enforcing this law, but rather will protect their county residents’ second amendment rights.
It looks like more and more people are waking up to the growing unconstitutional actions of both the federal and NY State governments.
Back In August of 2012, there were reports in the national media that President Mohamed Morsi, the new President of Egypt had requested that the Obama administration release the Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel Rahman, the convicted mastermind behind the 1993 World Trade Center Terrorist attack, as a sign of good faith. The story persisted for a couple of weeks but gradually faded as the national media lost interest and the Obama administration denied that they were talking to anyone about releasing him.
I have a theory that there was some truth to the story, but when it was somehow leaked out to the public, the Obama administration circled the wagons and with the usual cooperation of the main stream media, the story was killed and no one paid any attention to it anymore.
I believe there is a strong possibility that there is a connection between the rumors about releasing the Blind Sheik and the Terrorist Attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. The information comes from confidential sources, congressional hearings and the stories in the press. Defenders of the President and his administration, including his allies in the national media (sometimes called the 5th column) will lash out and call what I am detailing here, just another “conspiracy theory.”
But consider this. The President of the United States, for over three months, has repeatedly lied about what happened at Benghazi, still refuses to tell the truth and avoids answering any questions about what he and his national security advisors did while watching the whole terrorist incident on closed circuit TV .
Because of this lack for truthfulness on the part of the president and his administration, my theory is a lot more plausible than the President’s lies. More

Just about all of the European countries are also deeply mired in public debt of gargantuan proportions. Greece has reached the point where its debt is so huge it is in imminent danger of defaulting. That is the reason the European economic community has intervened to bail them out yet again.

The initial percentage in the United States will not be anywhere near the outrageous numbers you now see in Europe, but then again neither were the federal income tax rates very high back in 1913, when that tax started. The current outrageous numbers in Europe didn’t start out as outrageous either. They started out as minuscule – right around the 1% or 2% where they will start out in the United States. It seems that America has become a country obsessed with classifying its citizens into different racial and ethnic sub-groups. President Obama is routinely called the first Black president, but isn’t he also half white? To be more accurate, isn’t he really the first mixed race president? The media and special interest groups constantly refer to him as the Black president. Americans are constantly being bombarded by government and media reports of the first Hispanic person to do this, the first Asian person to do that, or the first Black person to do something else.
My message to the government bureaucrats, the special interest groups and the mass media is that the vast majority of Americans don’t care what a person’s race or ethnic origin is. Throughout our history, Americans of all races and ethnic backgrounds have fought and died as one people to preserve this country’s freedoms and liberties, not to separate us or divide us into racial and ethnic groups.
America has always been known as a country of rugged individualism based on individual freedom and liberty, not race and ethnic origin. Most Americans do not care if Black people comprise 12.1% of the population or 14.3%. They do not care if Hispanic people comprise 19% or 28% of the population. The Racial and Ethnic classification of Americans is nothing more than institutionalized racism and must be ended. Rather than helping a diverse population become assimilated and united as one nation, the Federal government is doing what the Nazi government of Germany did in the 1930’s and 40’s; creating government supported institutionalized racism by the intentional classification of it’s citizens by race and ethnicity. Although many Americans may never have heard of the Law of the Sea Treaty and those who did know about it probably thought it was dead on arrival in the U.S. Senate a couple of year ago, are in for a shock. Yes, the Creature from the Ocean’s Floor, better known as the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) is back and it is rearing its ugly, globalist head once again. The LOST is a national sovereignty-killing creature created by supporters of the New World Order who also want the United Nations to ultimately be the one and only world government. It is specifically designed to destroy the sovereignty of all nations, to limit the rights of their citizens and take control over the majority of the earth’s resources in the oceans, including those within America’s territorial waters. The enemies of Liberty and Freedom have created a monster that poses more of a danger to America’s sovereignty and to our individual Freedoms and Liberty than any foreign military force ever has and we must be prepared to kill the creature before it kills us.
The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) was first conceived in the early 1980’s by the United Nations as a method for them to gain control of most of the activities on, over, and beneath the ocean’s surface. The fundamental premise of the Law of the Sea Treaty is that the resources on the ocean’s floor belong to all of the people of the world and those resources should be protected and controlled by an international organization like the United Nations. Although that may sound like a noble goal, in order to achieve this goal, the United Nations has created a multinational, bureaucratic creature called the International Seabed Authority (“ISA”) and charged this entity with regulating and controlling the world’s mineral resources in the oceans.
When President Reagan was president, he objected to several of the treaty’s provisions that would have resulted in surrendering our nation’s sovereignty and refused to sign it, but that didn’t stop the proponents of world government and the New World Order. In 1994, the “progressives (a nice term used to describe communists) at the United Nations decided to keep moving forward with their plans by creating a diversion they called an “Agreement of Implementation” that was supposed to address the concerns of the United States and other industrialized nations. THE JUDGE RULES THAT OBAMA CAN STILL BE ON THE BALLOT
Another case of Judicial Tyranny in America. Disregarding all of the evidence that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen and is not eligible to be a candidate for President of the United States, a George judge for the State Office of Administrative Hearings, ruled that Barack Obama ’s name will remain on the Georgia primary ballot anyway.
Who got to him? Who threatened this judge or paid him off?
Judge Michael Malihi dismissed the following:
1. the charge that Barack Obama has a computer-generated fraudelent Hawaiian birth certificate,
2. possesses a fraudulent Social Security number and other invalid U.S. identification papers and
3. the charge that Mr. Obama is ineligible to be a candidate because his father was not a U.S. citizen at the time of Obama’s birth.
Judge Malihi’s decision will now go to Secretary of State Brian Kemp, who will make the final determination. Last month, at a hearing boycotted by Obama’s lawyer, Malihi considered complaints brought by citizens of Georgia.
With regard to the challenge that Obama does not have legitimate birth and identification papers, Malihi said he found the evidence “unsatisfactory” and “insufficient to support plaintiffs’ allegations” even though a number of the witnesses who testified about the alleged fraud in birth records, forged documents and document manipulation. America was founded by people who came to this land in search of Liberty and opportunity. The big international food conglomerates must be celebrating today as the US Senate passed it’s version of the Food Safety and Modernization Act by a vote of 73 to 25. The only amendment to the Food Safety Modernization Act allowed was the Tester Amendment which exempts small operations (earning under $500,000 a year) from having to file a food safety plan. Congress must now pass a final form of HR 2749 and S 510, which President Obama is expected to sign into law.
The Socialist Democrats in the Senate have done it again by pushing big government further onto family farms and ranches and into our local stores and homes.

In a recent interview with the press, Nancy Pelosi said that “more food stamps and more unemployment insurance for Americans will actually grow the US economy” and lift it from the recession that Barack Obama has helped to worsen. Well, she really didn’t say the part about Barack Obama making the economy worse. I added that part, but she did say the part about more food stamps and more unemployment insurance for Americans will actually grow the US economy.
Ms. Pelosi, that insane genius and all-around nut case analyst of the US economy and everything financial, spoke this past Wednesday to answer remarks recently made by Newt Gingrich, who said that Republicans need to make a contrast between Democrats who promote food stamps as their economic policy, and Republicans who actually promote the useful concept called paychecks to grow the prosperity of Americans.
Pelosi reacted to Gingrich’s assertion by admitting that, yes, Democrats are indeed the party of food stamps. Ms. Pelosi actually admitted that her party’s policy is to get as many people as possible on food stamps because she’s either totally ignorant about economics, or she really is crazy. It has got to be the latter because any normal, sane human being would understand that food stamps helped by unemployment insurance will not grow the US economy!!

The Federal government has transferred a staggering $65 billion dollars from the private sector (via new taxes) to fund the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI.) RGGI is government created entity, much like the corrupt Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac entities that destroyed the American real estate market, that is now choking companies in the northeast with huge tax increases in the name of saving the environment.
Liberty News:York State education officials devised a high school exam containing passages extolling positive accomplishments of Islam while casting a negative light on aspects of Christian history.
The reading selections from the state-wide Regents exam on Global History and Geography contained a passage that said wherever Muslims went in the centuries following the birth of Islam, they “brought with them their love of art, beauty and learning. From about the eighth to the eleventh century, their culture was superior in many ways to that of western Christendom.”
Another passage observed that public lamps lighted roads in Muslim-occupied Cordoba, Spain, seven centuries before there was a single public lamp in London, the New York Post reported.
But an excerpt discussing Christianity’s introduction in Latin America stated that “idols, temples, and other material evidences of paganism [were] destroyed,” and “Christian buildings [were] often constructed on sites of destroyed native temples.”
It also said that “Indians supplied construction labor without receiving payment.”
Mark MacWilliams, a religious studies professor at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., told the Post: “Why does the exam seem to have only documents that portray Islam as a religion of peace, civilization, and refinement, while it includes documents about Christianity that show it was anything but peaceful in the Spanish conquest of the Americas?”
A Brooklyn teacher who administered the exam said, “There should have been a little balance in there.” Referring to the ongoing controversy over the planned construction of a mosque near ground zero in Manhattan, he added: “To me, this was offensive because it’s just too inappropriate and the timing of it was poor.”

Remarkably so, in fact, to help boost the chances of Senate Bill 510’s passing. The Food Safety Modernization Act, whose companion bill H.R. 2749 already passed in the House, was facing quite the uphill battle. But not any more; a vote is now highly likely with approval possible if not probable.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has said there could be as many as 1,300 salmonella related illnesses linked to the eggs. And that there could be 30 or more unreported cases for every reported case. So far there have actually been 1,953 illnesses reported from May 1 to July 31 of this year with the CDC admitting “some of these cases may not be related to this outbreak.” CNN has an interesting state-by-state listing of reported, suspected, and confirmed cases. It seems then, that labeling 1,953 food-borne illnesses in a three month period in a nation of over 300 million an “outbreak” is a bit of an over-reaction
Nonetheless, the hue and cry from the food agency regulators of the Obama Administration is deafening. Most call for an expansion of federal authority in order to prevent any more food-related illnesses, something that is quite impossible, given our imperfect planetary conditions. More
It was a beautiful, rain free day on August 7th at the Capitol Steps in Albany where freedom loving New Yorkers gathered in support of the United States Constitution, focusing on the Amendment. The rally began as patriotic music, including songs by local bands the Ameros and American Spirit Unbroken, played while tables were set up by the speakers and candidates. Organizers, driven by the desire to spread the message of the importance of State’s Rights in restoring our Republic and individual liberty, coordinated this event in six weeks with minimal experience and funding.
