In Unanimous Vote, House Says No Legal Right to Attack Iran

Has congress finally gotten a spine???

Counter Information

By Marjorie Cohn

June 06, 2018 “Information Clearing House” –  In a little noticed but potentially monumental development, the House of Representatives voted unanimously for an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2019 (H.R. 5515) that says no statute authorizes the use of military force against Iran.

The amendment, introduced by Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota), states, “It is the sense of Congress that the use of the Armed Forces against Iran is not authorized by this Act or any other Act.”

A bipartisan majority of the House adopted the National Defense Authorization Act on May 24, with a vote of 351-66. The bill now moves to the Senate.

If the Senate version ultimately includes the Ellison amendment as well, Congress would send a clear message to Donald Trump that he has no statutory authority to militarily attack Iran.

This becomes particularly significant in light of Trump’s…

A major effort is underway to begin yet another war of aggression against another mid-eastern country who refuses to submit to the global bankers or, to allow global oil cartels access to the country’s largest asset….oil.  Syria and Iran stand as the last two countries refusing to submit to global banking and a complete takeover of oil assets.  Syria is the last roadblock to Iran, and the federal corporation we call “government” is desperate to start blasting Iran.

Senator John McCain (R) was beating the war drums yet again on February 10, 2014,  to send us into another unnecessary and illegal war with a country whose leader is marked for destruction, although he did not mention who would be appointed to head up the new government in Syria when we got done destroying another oil rich nation that has not harmed us or threatened us.save

McCain was quoted by ABC News as saying:

“When the images and horrors of this conflict occasionally show up on our television screens, the impulse of many Americans is to change the channel,” McCain said on the Senate floor. “But we must not look away. We must not avert our eyes from the suffering of the Syrian people – for, if we do, we ignore, we sacrifice that which is most precious in ourselves: our ability to empathize with the suffering of others, to share it, to acknowledge through our own sense of revulsion that what is happening in Syria today is a stain on  the collective conscience of moral peoples everywhere.”

Basically, our impulse to change the channel comes from the incessant lies, deceptions, frauds, and continual misinformation fabricated to convince the American public of some fictional threat that can be used to affect policy and the continued efforts to take over the mid east.  All of this issuing from the mouths of government officials who all have their fingers in the cookie jar. Patrick Clawson is the Director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP).  He was an economist for the UN’s International Monetary Fund and the UN World Bank.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) is a Washington, DC based think tank that was founded in 1985 by Martin Indyk.  According to Wikipedia, Indyk started to set up a research department for the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a powerful pro-Israel lobbyist organization, but felt his research was not taken seriously because of his affiliation with AIPAC, so he created WINEP.  WINEP has been criticized as being the fiercest enemies of Arabs and Muslims, and the most powerful propaganda tool in the US.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) received over $8.6 million in grants from undisclosed donors in 2010 and had assets totaling $24 million.
AIPAC received $64.6 million in funding in 2011: $46 million from undisclosed donors, $11.5 million from fundraising events and $6.6 million from related organizations.  They had total assets worth $105 million in 2011.
In this undated video, Patrick Clawson says “crisis initiation” to go to war with Iran would be difficult, and that the traditional way that the US goes to war is for what would be best for US interests.  Clawson then mentions other false flag events (covert operations designed to deceive) as examples of incidents that led the US into war (Pearl Harbor, the Lusitania, the Gulf of Tonkin episode, etc).  He says “we ARE in the game of using covert means against the Iranians.  We could get nastier at that.”

I contemplate my recent trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran and ask myself who wants war between America and Iran. I quickly surmise that it is not the American people, nor the Iranian people, but globalists (international bankers and their multinational beneficiaries). They control Israel, the American media and most of our politicians…and by extension our foreign policy.

My journey to this exotic and little understood land began with an invitation to “New Horizon – The First International Independent Filmmakers Festival”. It was a conference and festival held in Tehran from September 2nd through September 7th. Filmmakers and intellectuals from around the world attended. It was one of the most stimulating experiences that I have ever had and an effective bridge between diverse cultures and perspectives – with the purpose of promoting truth, justice, liberty, and peace.

This initiative was undertaken, not by America or other world leaders, but by a country unfairly besieged with sanctions and threats of war. My observations were in stark contrast to the perceptions of most Americans. What I experienced was a devout country with a love of God, family, and nation – and an uncompromising respect for the noblest of human endeavors.

As I write this, a giant, beautiful book, Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, lies next to me. Khayyam’s wonderful poems have survived the test of time and are a testament to the normally peaceful spirit of the Persian people. This treasure was given to me by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Inside its back cover, he inscribed the following for me (transcribed from Farsi): More

Mark Dankof’s America

Mark Dankof in Washington, D. C. in November of 2011

Last night at the gym after my usual stint at the pullup bar and the leg extension and leg curl machines, I proceeded to the treadmill. I was there for one hour at varying speeds and inclines throughout the 60 minutes. The ceiling-suspended television sets for treadmillers at this particular training location in San Antonio always involve ESPN; one of the major networks when it offers a bad soap opera or sit-com; and the incessant droning of the CNN newsroom where the presence of Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper proves especially annoying and wearisome, although informative in ways not intended by the Masters of Corporate Media.

Last night was more of the same. I was stationed in front of CNN during my treadmill session. Wolf Blitzer was interviewing a Fred Burton of Stratfor Global Intelligence based in Austin, Texas. Mr. Burton is their Vice-President for Counterterrorism and Corporate Security. The subject was the mysterious January 16th, 2012 killing of Iranian medical student Gelareh Bagherzadeh, age 30, a woman with a profile as an activist in the Iranian women’s rights movement and professionally based at Houston’s world-famous M. D. Anderson Medical Center. She was found slumped over the wheel of her car after being shot in the head once by an unknown assailant. The crime took place at the site of the wealthy housing estate in Houston where her family lived. Houston police summoned after the gunfire found Ms. Bagherzadeh’s vehicle crashed into the door of a garage with the engine still running and the tires spinning. She had apparently been speaking on her mobile phone to an ex-boyfriend at the time of her death. It is still unclear whether she had been followed home, or the victim of an assassin lying in wait for her as she arrived. No one is presently in custody.
Who really killed Gelareh Bagherzadeh? More

The staging of yet another war: We are what we claimed we despised

We are being preconditioned for another war of aggression, this time against Iran. We are being systematically deceived into thinking that Iran is now out to get us.  Maybe they are…now.  Let me see, we have cut off major food supplies, put a wrench in their banking system and messed up their economy, and have positioned several of our warships in the Straights of Hormuz showing them that we are a clear and present danger to their continued existence.  They might just be upset with us.  Ya think?

Announcements on cable news shows and subsequent statements by US officials claim that Israel is contemplating attacking Iran this spring some time.  These statements are issued with a casualness of announcing a garden party.  For some reason it is unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons, but quite alright for Israel to have more than 200 bunker buster mini nukes at their disposal provided to them by our government.

Three days after the initial announcement of this preplanned war of aggression in MSM venues,  newspaper headlines across the country claimed “Iran planning attacks inside the US”.  Personally, I believe that this is just advanced warning that future false flag attacks, perpetrated by the CIA on behalf of global interests will occur in the US.  Of course, Iran will be blamed immediately, we’ll blow them off the map and ten years from now we’ll find out the whole thing was rigged and based on fictional events that never happened; at least not by the people we thought caused them.  Don’t worry though.  There will never be an honest investigation, no charges will ever be filed against those who really did attack us, and evidence will be destroyed faster than you can strike a match.

But we sold Israel those nukes and once the weapons were delivered, the stage was set.

From USA Today:

“With the sale of deep-penetrating bombs called GBU-28 Hard Target Penetrators, Obama is satisfying a weapons request Israel first made during the Bush administration.

Israel’s request for bunker-busters in 2005 was denied. At the time, the Defense Department had frozen most military sales to Israel because of concerns Israel was transferring advanced military technology to China. [end quote]

While the Israeli government and military may now be in possession of nuclear weapons, it is the people of Israel who will pay the price if any of those weapons are used. The Israeli people have found themselves in the same position as Americans in the US; pawns, cannon fodder and totally expendable as far as their government is concerned.  Like us, the Israeli people have no say, no control over their government or what it does.

I believe the only thing that will stop this is the unspoken threat that if Israel launches attacks on Iran, many other mid-eastern countries will join forces and move against Israel.  And who will pay for that?  The puppet masters behind the scenes that set all of this into motion?  Or will it be the people of Israel and the populations of other mid-eastern countries that will be sacrificed to the global war machine that systematically raids and plunders one country after another, selling off the assets of those countries to global corporations which have a vested interest in the outcome.

But there is more to this. More

It appears, then, that Mr. Timmerman and his Foundation for Democracy in Iran are very well placed indeed to gain a great measure of influence and power should the US institute force regime change in Iran. Iranian members of his organization could reasonably expect high political office as appointees of any occupation authority in the same way that Ahmed Chalabi and Iyad Allawi were in Iraq. The parallels are obvious – providing shaky evidence and allegations of a WMD program to help foment a war that catapults them into political office.”

I am reminded today of the spring of 1969, when I was confirmed in a traditional German Lutheran Church in Dayton, Ohio, after two years of catechetical instruction. In those days, the class had to memorize many Bible passages, and entire sections of Luther’s Small Catechism. This rigor included the memorization of the 10 Commandments, and the brief written expositions on the meaning of each provided by the 16th century Father of the Reformation.

The 8th Commandment, and Luther’s subsequent explanation, are simply as follows:

“Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness Against Thy Neighbor. [8th Commandment]

What Does This Mean? [Luther’s posited question]

We should fear and love God that we may not deceitfully belie, betray, slander, nor defame our neighbor, but defend him, speak well of him, and put the best construction on everything. [Luther’s Answer]“

In the annotations provided by Edward W. A. Koehler in the version of Luther’s Small Catechism published by Concordia Theological Seminary Press in Fort Wayne, Indiana, we read the following supplementary comment on Luther’s exposition:

“False witness is making an untrue statement and making it with the intention of harming a reputation.”

With this in mind, Howard Phillips, the founder of the Constitution Party and the Chairman of Washington’s Conservative Caucus, has borne public false witness against me in an article penned by Zionist sock puppet Kenneth R. Timmerman in the ironically named Accuracy in Media (AIM). Timmerman’s piece, entitled “Tehran TV Loves Ron Paul,” is clearly directed against Press TV/Iran, and against American conservatives who have appeared on that network to publicly state their opposition to an Israeli-provoked American war with that country. Philip Giraldi, Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Sheldon Foote, Mark Glenn, and I are among those Mr. Timmerman has in his gun sites. But most interestingly of all, Timmerman has drawn Howard Phillips into participation in a hit piece designed to hurt the Presidential candidacy of Congressman Ron Paul of Texas (R-TX). Why?

The public professional and political connections of Kenneth R. Timmerman may explain exactly why. The online news service, The Newshoggers, informs readers that: More

It is no accident that Michael Gerson, a major schill of the Establishment Corporate Media’s (ECM) chorus for a Zionist-inspired war with Iran, has stepped forward in the Washington Post to broadside Congressman Ron Paul of Texas, and to concurrently publish a breathtaking synthesis of ignorance and duplicity regarding the American War Between the States in the 19th century. Gerson is joined in his transparent machinations for the Israeli Lobby against the Presidential campaign of the Texas Republican Congressman by fellow agents Wolf Blitzer and Dana Bash of CNN, who pulled the plug on U. S. Army Corporal Jesse Thorsen during an on-air interview with the Corporal on the night of the January 3rd Iowa Caucus. It seems the young man’s comments on why the United States didn’t need to be a surrogate military force in the Middle East for the Jewish State were too much on target to be placed before the American people for honest examination and consideration. George Orwell lives. The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs (WRMEA), which has ruthlessly exposed the backgrounds of Blitzer and Bash, has the video of the latest version of the Hasbara Project online. Check out the following synopsis from WRMEA:

Blitzer is a former employee of AIPAC, Israel’s behemoth Washington, DC lobby (see former Sen. James Abourezk’s “Wolf Blitzer, AIPAC, and the Saudi Peace Initiative” in the July 2007 Washington Report, p. 16, also posted on our Web site). The CNN anchor also is the author of Territory of Lies: The Exclusive Story of Jonathan Jay Pollard: The American Who Spied on His Country for Israel and How He Was Betrayed (the title seeming to imply that it was Pollard, rather than his native country, who was betrayed).

Senior congressional correspondent Bash joined CNN as Dana Schwartz, her maiden name. Her father, Stu Schwartz, is a senior broadcast producer at ABC News and her mother, Frances Weinman Schwartz, is, according to Wikipedia, “an educator in Jewish studies and author of the book, Passage to Pesach, and co-author with Rabbi Eugene Borowitz of two books, Jewish Moral Virtues and A Touch of the Sacred.” In 1998 the CNN correspondent married her first husband, Jeremy Bash, chief of staff to Leon Panetta in his capacities as both defense secretary and former CIA chief. The son of the chief rabbi of the Arlington Fairfax (VA) Jewish Congregation, Bash was chief minority council to the House Intelligence Committee when the pro-Israel Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) was its top Democrat prior to the 2006 elections. The Bashes divorced in 2007. The following year Dana Bash married fellow CNN congressional correspondent John King, who converted to Judaism prior to their marriage.

But we are not to worry. There was no conspiracy to silence Corporal Thorsen on international television on January 3rd. And there is nothing to the allegation that Jews disproportionately control major American and world media outlets. . . . More

13 Lies: An Abbreviated History of U.S. Presidents Leading Us to War

Those of you who long ago figured out that George Bush lied about, and twisted, 9-11, the role of Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and Osama, and WMDs to justify the invasions of Afghanistan, and Iraq, and to create the War on Terror, will not be surprised to learn that our prior Presidents, and their complicit henchmen, have lied us into every war since our Revolution. Their true reasons have not been legal, constitutional, or politically acceptable, so they invent one or more false reasons that they can sell to the people. The recent WikiLeaks disclosures confirm how our foreign policy is riddled with lies. Surprise!

Sadly, most people, especially the troops and their families, believe the lies and proudly support these “wars for defense of our Liberties.”  It doesn’t occur to them that our leaders would be so evil as to spend the lives of our troops to gain their hidden goals for Empire-USA (oil, power, land, etc.).

Iran is their next target
Thus, the war drums are beating in DC to justify bombing Iran, so this is a good time to consider whether our leaders are lying again. READ MORE

“The reason is as morally, theologically, and politically warped as it is transparently clear.  Dispensational premillennial eschatology, trans-national multinationals and central bankers, and black-operational state intelligence agencies, are now inexorably wedded to one another in the coalescence of the components of the New World Order.  The unfolding results are disastrous for both the United States and the planet.

Nowhere is this unfolding disaster more tragically apparent than in Iran, where the December 20th Newsweek cover story all but concedes the American and Israeli intelligence community’s link to the recent assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists in Tehran, and the concurrent bombings in Diyala and Chabahar provinces in that country.  These recent premeditated murders, along with atrocities past in Iranian Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, and Balochistan, are all chiefly the on-site work of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK), with occasional assists from the Kurdish PKK and Jundallah organizations.”  Read More here

The National Prayer Network’s Ted Pike  painfully reminds us that the American “evangelical” community is once again supporting the crimes of the Zionist State of Israel against decent humanity.  Ted joins my old friends, Chuck Carlson of We Hold These Truths,  and Dale Crowley, as one of the few Protestant evangelicals of national prominence who recognizes that murder and terror undergirded by an ideological agenda of Jewish racial supremacism, is antithetical to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.  The terroristic strike on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla is just the latest example of this demonic alliance, but it isn’t the last.  The endgame is a preemptive Israeli attack on Iran.

The Pike essay, “Right Swallows Israel’s Flotilla Lies,” is a part of a wider cancerous condition I wrote about for Covenant News 5 years ago, before leaving Philadelphia for a return to south Texas.  The title of the piece was “Does the American Evangelical Church Have Terminal Cancer?“  It posited the idea as an interrogative, implying that perhaps the jury was still out on this movement, and the wider American Republic itself.

What I wrote 5 years ago seems as fresh as it did then.  I hope you will read it again, or for the very first time. There has been only one change in my thinking in this last half-decade.

Lindsey Graham and Jack Kemp: Has the Tribe Protected Them?

Senator Lindsey Graham (R.-S. C.) is demonstrably a war monger when it comes to Zionist interests.  His sickening sycophancy in March at the American Israeli Political Action Committee dinner, chronicled by David Corn of Mother Jones, tells the tale of the all-too-familiar tape when it comes to what is routinely purchased from American politicians by the Israeli lobby.  It has something to do with the world’s oldest profession, if you know what I mean.  Want to know what Graham’s hourly fees are for such speeches?  Hugh Galford of the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs can quote you the specific numbers.

Graham’s AIPAC schtick was as predictable as it was outlandish.  Stating that Israel is “our best friend in the world,” the South Carolina pol conveniently forgot to mention the Lavon Affair, the Kennedy assassination, the attack on the USS Liberty, the Pollard spy case, and the Israeli-Communist China pilfering of American nuclear secrets at Los Alamos in the PROMIS catastrophe, among many others.  In regard to this last episode, one can only guess at what the late John Tower (R.-TX) and John Heinz (R.-PA) may have known.  If only they hadn’t died in aviation accidents in separate parts of the country, only 24 hours apart. What a tragic coincidence.

What Graham did mention was his wholehearted support of the mass murder of Iranians by preemptive military strike.  Apparently for him, and sidekick John McCain, constant impingement on Iranian air space; black operations in Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, and Balochistan provinces; and covert American support for the Jundallah–MEK sponsored acts of terrorism and subversion within Iranian borders is not enough.  Now we need to be carrying out a massive, overt military strike on that country, despite what our own National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) says about the nuclear weapons program they don’t have.  And with an “ally” that is a non-signatory to the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and the leading nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons power in the entire region.  Got it?  Philip Giraldi can brief us.  A simple Google search on his name and Iran will tell you more than you may really want to know. Another War in the Works

By Paul Craig Roberts

September 29, 2009 “Information Clearing House” —

MSM, Does anyone remember all the lies that they were told by President Bush and the “mainstream media” about the grave threat to America from weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? These lies were repeated endlessly in the print and TV media despite the reports from the weapons inspectors, who had been sent to Iraq, that no such weapons existed.

The weapons inspectors did an honest job in Iraq and told the truth, but the mainstream media did not emphasize their findings. Instead, the media served as a Ministry of Propaganda, beating the war drums for the US government.

Now the whole process is repeating itself. This time the target is Iran.

As there is no real case against Iran, Obama took a script from Bush’s playbook and fabricated one.

Dr. Manouchehr Ganji to PM Erdogan: Come Clean on the $18.5 Billion U. S. transferred to Turkey from Iran

August 1, 2009, 10:51

shirinneshatsarbazan01In the Name of My Father:

Dr. Manouchehr Ganji’s letter of July 31st to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chronicles a most interesting event on the Iran/Turkish border, involving the Turkish customs authorities.

It seems that on October 7th, 2008, trucks containing $18.5 billion dollars/U. S., in one hundred dollar bills and 20 tons of gold, were delivered to the Ankara Customs Office.  The largesse was in transit from Iran through Turkey to a destination yet publicly unknown.

Turkish independent television station Kanal D quotes Turkish lawyer Senol Ozel as stating that the $18.5 billion is legally owned by an Iranian named Esmael Saffarian-Nessab. Ozel describes his client as a “respected Iranian businessman [who] has transferred the money to Turkey through legal means.”

Obvious questions abound.  Who really is Esmael Saffarian-Nessab?  Who is he working for?  Whose money is really being transited out of Iran?  For what final destination?  And what do Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan and Turkish attorney Senol Ozel really know about all of this?  How many players are there, really, in the transfer of $18 billion U. S. across the Iranian-Turkish border?

The Mujahedin-e-Khalq: The Peril of Paradox in American Middle East Policy

by Mark Dankof

One thing is abundantly clear about American policy in the Middle East–it is based on a series of paradoxical, internally contradictory goals and alliances which typically end in tragic results for friend and foe alike.

Nowhere is this conundrum clearer than in the present U. S. quandary over the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), or People’s Holy Warriors, as chronicled by Ed Blanche, Beirut correspondent for The Middle East, in that publication’s June 2009 issue.

As Blanche capably summarizes what is known of the MEK, the organization was formed in Iran in 1965 by leftist students, subsequently adopting a “bizarre ideology that embraced by Islam and Marxism.”   The ideology soon became linked to urban revolutionary guerrilla violence.  In the final years of Pahlavi Iran, the MEK conducted a series of attacks and assassinations on American military and diplomatic personnel, as it sought the overthrow of Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi.

The MEK joined forces with Khomeini’s revolutionaries in this ultimately successful effort, only to be expelled by the IRI regime itself in Tehran once its usefulness had expired after the Shah’s departure.  The MEK began to conduct guerrilla operations against the Mullahs as they had against the monarchy previously, with considerable success.  But the Mullahs applied a level of retaliatory force the “Islamic-Marxists” could not endure.  They fled to France, and later joined forces with Saddam Hussein against Iran in the 1980-1988 war between the Gulf rivals. We Are Stealing Iraqi Oil and Calling It Democracy.

Oil production sharing agreements should be more aptly called “How we stole the Iraqi’s oil and used our military to do it”.  The push to pass production sharing agreements through the Iraqi parliament has hit numerous bumps in the road.  The Iraqi parliament, which is nothing more than part of the puppet government set up by Bush and other global elitists, refused to pass the new oil laws necessary to allow up to 60% of Iraqi oil production to be owned by non-Iraqi entities.  That would be Exxon/Mobil, BP and Dutch Shell to you and me.

If you think or believe that the current oil prices have anything to do with whether or not we are sinking wells in the Gulf of Mexico, in ANWAR, or anywhere else on or around this continent, you probably shouldn’t be reading this article.  The current oil prices are directly tied to your willingness to continue to slaughter the people of a country whose economy is based on oil and which nationalizes its production rather than allowing a few greedy globalist elites to rape and plunder this national asset.  The higher they crank up the price per gallon, the more willing we are to kill people “over there” rather than control corporations “over here”.

When the Iraqi parliament refused in 2007 to pass new laws to benefit the above mentioned global parasites, the Bush regime went into high gear propaganda mode.  Supposedly, attacks by insurgents were way up and now we had to increase troop levels to protect our soldiers (and for other purposes).  Seems to me, if troop safety was ever a concern, they wouldn’t have been half way around the world fighting a pre-emptive war against a non-threatening country to gain access to their oil.

I don’t believe in coincidences and I don’t believe it’s coincidental that the failure to pass the long coveted agreements coincided with the troop surge which precipitated even more death and destruction in Iraq.  Neither do I believe that insurgent attacks were any more prevalent than at any other time.  The troop surge was nothing less than a signal to the puppet Iraqi government that there was nothing we would not do, no weapon we wouldn’t use, no bomb we wouldn’t drop, and no one we wouldn’t torture into submission to get those agreements passed.  And now that the agreements look like they will become a reality?  Why!  The insurgent attacks have dropped so much that it looks like some of our troops can begin coming home.  Go figure.

This is where I say “I told you so!”  Two years ago I wrote about this very issue and stated that until these agreements were passed to benefit the oil cartels, there would be no withdrawal, no end to the occupation and no end in sight to this war.  What is a nation like ours, whose economy is 45% dependent upon the war industry to do?

It seems that one of our diplomats reported to British newspapers that Israel has been put on “amber alert”, standby, with instructions to ready itself to attack Iran.  See, we aren’t going to attack them……Israel is; Israel that has been armed with more than 200 nuclear warheads in violation of the non-proliferation treaty.  Armed with weapons we have supplied them, manufactured and developed by our arms industry.  Israel that has been performing training exercises over Iran regularly for at least two years in an attempt to provoke them into war.  Supposedly we aren’t going to send any of our military to assist them.  Just more weapons and be there as a back up.

In my opinion, the Israeli people suffer from the same corruption of government as we do.  The Israeli government and those behind the scenes in Israel, who pull the strings, no more represent the Israeli people than Bush and Cheney represent America.  Neither government views its people as anything more than fodder for the cannons.  And neither government represents anyone other than a collection of obscenely wealthy multinationals who believe that we are all dispensable as long as they get what they desire.  And this international cabal of evil is now set to raze yet another mid-eastern country with the sole intent of seizing its assets and controlling the world’s oil supply.  So what if a few million Iranians die?

This does seem to be a matter of “when they do it, we call it terrorism, when we do it we call justified”.  America has lost any semblance of being a just or civil society.  We have been exposed to the world as corrupt, greedy, inhumane, unjust and murderous.  Rather than being an example to the world of what is right, of how good things can be when a democracy thrives, we have become the standard bearer for corruption and aggression.  It’s no wonder the rest of the world now views us as the biggest threat to peace.

More than this, we have been exposed as a country so dumbed down, so paralyzed with stupidity, we willingly tolerate a government that is actively working to take away our own democracy, our own freedoms while we sit idly by in our stupor.

This, as the Bush administration fabricates another phony threat with yet another country in another war for oil.

WW3 and Global Economic Depression

Hello friends!

Sigh, and much worse. God this is such horrible news I hate to even break it. I am so sorry for any shock to your system or any dreadful feelings which come around this. But people must know, and we must act, with urgency too. In the article below, I have linked the movie showing Ron Paul’s testimony/whistle-blowing, plus drafted up an action plan which includes getting help from officials overseas to issue arrest warrants for Bush, Cheney and any member of Congress who votes “yes” for war funding based on lies. Please pass this on.

The plan so far is:Attack Iran with air missiles, despite knowledge that they halted their nuclear weapons program in 2003

Prevent any kind of retaliation by hitting them with nuclear weapons

Striking back with nuclear weapons in case Iran retaliates

Punishing other countries which support Iran

Ron Paul (in the video in this article) states his shock and dismay that members of Congress favor the plan, saying “if only we could nuke Iran. Nuke Iran, nuke Iran!” Ron Paul is concerned that such an attack will start WWIII and also create a global economic depression. Bad news.I suggest part of the action plan would be to write letters to the editor (college newsletter editors and local papers, if mainstream censors) disclosing our US Senator and Representative’s voting records to the public, then asking readers to vote any violators out of office. To also disclose those who vote favorably would be very important, to encourage/motivate them to keep going in the right direction while, especially, offering the masses hope. We as a nation are governed by depression: Hope is key to pro-activity.
I have more suggestions in the article linked below.
Please pass this on! Thank you for your help. We should all meet face-to-face with our Senators and Representatives and demand, not ask that they STOP the war funding. Remind them that we PAY them to implement the public will, not their unilateral wishes.

Because, dictatorships support the politicians and their agendas whereas democracies support those of the people.Thank you so much for your help. Article, video linked below.

Kenneth R. Timmerman: Israeli Mossad Front Man to Iranian Expatriates?

By Mark Dankof for the American Free Press

It may be more than significant that Kenneth R. Timmerman, neo-conservative columnist par excellence, has been recently interested in covering Iranian expatriate political activities in Europe and the United States designed to produce regime change in Tehran, most notably the recent “Iran Solidarity” conference held earlier this month in Paris.

Timmerman, of course, is the author of the now infamous disinformation piece published by Insight Magazine of the Moonie-owned Washington Times on October 15, 2002, alleging Saddam Hussein’s possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Insight headline advertising the essay, published half a year before Bush’s preemptive military action in Iraq in early 2003, says it all:

How Saddam Got Weapons of Mass Destruction: Saddam Hussein’s War Machine Is Being Built Systematically to Strike At the United States With New Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Weapons Designed to Kill Millions.

Mr. Timmerman bases his now totally discredited case for war with Iraq on the “intelligence” provided by the nefarious Ahmad Chalabi and the Iraqi National Congress’s (INC) committee of six, based in London in late 2002. And what he doesn’t say in the essay of 56 months ago is as significant as the falsehoods pathetically put to paper on apparent behalf of his suspected master handlers in both Washington and Tel Aviv. In demonizing Mr. Hussein, he conveniently manages not to remind his readers of the long-standing relationship between Saddam and American intelligence, going back to the former’s role as a CIA-hired trigger man selected to shoot the then-Prime Minister of Iraq in a failed assassination attempt in 1958. Nor does the Moonie-employed columnist bother to tell the uninitiated and unsuspecting about Hussein’s pivotal performance as an instrument of Western intelligence agencies in provoking the eight year war between Iraq and Iran from 1980-88. Why? The answers may lie between the lines of the original text of the now embarrassing Insight story, still accessible on the Net by clicking here.

The public professional and political connections of Kenneth R. Timmerman are similarly suggestive. The online news service, The Newshoggers, informs the reader that:

“Mr. Timmerman is also Executive Director of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran, an organization which he co-founded with PNAC founding member Peter Rodman, who is currently United States Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs and some prominent Iranian dissident figures. As such, you might expect (and you would be right to do so) that this Foundation has the ear of the Bush administration, GOP members on the Hill and prominent neoconservative thinkers. The Foundation has a distinctly secular bent, unsurprising given Mr. Timmerman’s negative opinions of the Islam in that country, and is dedicated to assisting regime change in Iran.”More surprising, perhaps – and not mentioned in any official bio – is his presence on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) – an honor he currently shares with Rep. Eric Cantor, Michael Ledeen, Jack Kemp and Richard Perle. Past Board members include Vice President Dick Cheney, US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, and Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith. A heady and powerful grouping. JINSA, it has been alleged, is closely allied to neoconservative advocates of pre-emptive regime change and to the AIPAC group which is currently embroiled in a spying scandal.

“It appears, then, that Mr.

And Mr. Timmerman’s war will foment the deaths of thousands of innocent Iranians and apocalyptic blowback against the United States worldwide. This is apparently what the American and Israeli governments have militarily planned via CONPLAN 8022, along with the support of both the CIA and the Mossad for regional separatist groups operating within Iranian borders, in Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Khuzestan, and Balochistan.

There is one other significant item to report. I am informed by a former seasoned covert operative in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations that Kenneth R. Timmerman was once “the editor of a Mossad-financed newsletter based in Paris, France.” Paris, France, as previously mentioned, was the recent venue of the “Iran Solidarity Conference.”

Coincidence? The report in my possession has also been personally corroborated by Philip Giraldi of Pat Buchanan’s The American Conservative.

True Iranian patriots who have their own reasons for wanting regime change in Iran, like Shirin Neshat of Sarbazan, beware.

The Value of Motivational Lies

I remember seeing Bush on TV at some point in time, telling his tale of how he came to God.  Had that been almost anyone else telling that story I might have believed it.  What I was seeing was a man who realized that a story of this kind would tug at America’s religious heartstrings and maybe we wouldn’t be able to see the monster lurking beneath the surface.  In my opinion, this was one of the greatest motivational lies, told by one of the greatest liars of modern times.

Remember when Bush, the Rice, then Cheney, then Rumsfeld all stood berfore the camera’s at one point or another and not only told the nation that we would get even with those who attacked us, but if we didn’t…..there could be “smoking guns” in the form of mushroom clouds over (name your city).  These were outright motivational lies.  And they worked!  We wanted revenge! And how else could they get us to not only  condone but to send our family members to war on the side of the world, especially one against a country that had no part in 9/11?  And when the lies were exposed? Well……they just mispoke. But we remained motivated, most of us preferring the lie versus the truth.

Other motivational lies have come in the form of statements such as “if you’re not with us, you’re against us”.  We had a president and entire administration along with a cadre of corrupt individuals who had already decided to act unilaterally and if they could induce other countries via monetary donations or quid pro quo, so much the better.  They didn’t care if anyone was with us…..they weren’t the ones who would have to go to war; they would just be those who reaped the rewards.

Another motivational lie was, “if you don’t support the war, you don’t support the troops.”  And how many of us jumped in behind that one?  Then the caskets starting coming home and it became apparent that we were destroying a country that had done nothing to us.  But all of that meant nothing because Bush claimed “God” told him to strike Iraq.  At this point, if you didn’t support the war……you obviously didn’t support God either.  Talk about motivation!

The night Bush appeared on TV and announced that we would wage a pre-emptive war of aggression against Iraq, his concern was not the number of innocent Iraqi’s that might be slaughtered.  He wasn’t concerned that many of our soldiers would likely forfeit their lives or be horribly wounded.  No…..he looked directly into the camera and addressed the American public with a mesaage really intended for the Iraqi people and said, “Do not destroy the oil wells”.  Apparently Bush’s God needs oil for some reason.

I personally believe that if God ever were to speak to George W. Bush, it would be something more along the lines of …..”George! Shut up! You’re lying!”

…………………………………………………………

Under this presidency, a fraud in itself, one fraud after another has been purpetrated on the American people.  It’s our own fault.  We allowed this to continue.  We have allowed ourselves to be lulled into compliance by the notion that government wanted only to protect us from those “terrorists”, while never admitting that those we needed to fear most were walking around unhindered in D.C.

Many of us also tuned into hate radio and the continuous vomit inducing ramblings of Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter and Bill O’Reilly among many others.  And didn’t they make some of feel good with constant pandering to the worst in humanity and continuing the motivational lies.  They almost made you feel like it was OK to be stupid, to hate without reason and to spread unfounded lies and misinformation……right up to the point that listening to them, believing them, started costing you your freedom; right up until it was your son or daughter, your husband or father who had to go fight a war for oil, knowing that they were not being sent to war to bring freedom or demcracy to a country that desired neither, but rather, to help Mobil/Exxon, British Petroleum and Dutch Shell gain access to the massive oil deposits they had been prohibited from accessing prior to the war.

And here we are today, just months from the next presidential election and what has changed?  Bush no longer claims God speaks to him, but congress sits on its collective rear ends and pretends that it would be a waste of time to hold Bush & Co. accountable for the lies and deceptions that lead us to war.  All our hopes for accountability and punnishment for the mass murder of 1.2 million Iraqi’s and the deaths of more than 4,000 of our soldiers all for the sake of oil cartels and greed…..is a waste of time.  So says our congress.  So says Princess Pelosi and Senator Reid.

The success of the 2006 elections which brought Democrats into control of both houses was premised on the greatest of all motivational lies.  The premise and promise of change.  Change predicated on correcting the corruption of this administration, changes that would reinstate our constitutional liberities and protections and repeal the eggregious actions of the last seven years.  Instead, we got a new majority that has been just as active in assaulting our liberties, just as protective of corruption and deception.

And now as the summer comes into full swing, we have to watch for another motivational lie that will mark the beginning of the war with Iran.  At some point, we will be told motivational lies to meant to make us support war on Iran.  At what point will we motivate ourselves to stand up and say “enough!”
