In an insane case of political correctness, a federal government agency has classified an illegal immigrant arrested for cultivating marijuana in a national forest as a “displaced traveler from Michoacán Mexico.”

The illegal alien (Gauldry Almonte-Hernandez) was recently busted during a U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Operation raid of illegally grown marijuana plants in northern California’s Shasta-Trinity National Forest. So far this month, the feds have eradicated more than 92,000 marijuana plants throughout the 2.1 million acre national forest that encompasses five wilderness areas and hundreds of mountain lakes.

In the first few days of July alone, about 50,000 plants were eradicated from six sites throughout the forest, which is California’s largest. More than two dozen suspects have been arrested for operating the illegal pot farms on federal land, most of them illegal immigrants from Mexico, according to a task force of local and federal authorities.

The U.S. Forest Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, has classified the Mexican marijuana farmers as displaced travelers. The government agency actually put it in a press release, which was reprinted in a local newspaper after the Forest Service pulled it from its web site.

Addressing the case of Almonte-Hernandez, who tried to flee when officers entered his marijuana garden, a columnist for the Redding paper writes:

“Displaced foreign traveler? Makes it sound like he meant to go to
Disneyland, got lost, and ended up at a pot plantation in the woods south of Hayfork.”

Recently a friend sent me an article about a Wisconsin politician who was apparently unaware of the location of the great state of Arizona. After considering what this really meant (instead of taking for granted that the apparently this individual is willing like the majority of politicians to jump on whatever hot topic political bandwagon happens by), I wondered how one could not be aware of the fact that Arizona does share a border with Mexico and does have a small immigration issue with undocumented illegal non-certified “people of Geographically challenged birth events”. Here is the real deal of healthcare reform: PS:(you’re not going to like this!)

If this doctor is correct, we are in deep doo-doo.  Healthcare reform is actually the medical version of the Wall Street bailouts.  Insurance companies now have an unlimited supply of funds.  Pharmaceuticals get almost total immunity from liability.  Illegal immigrants get free healthcare and pay no taxes.  And we get taxed into the poorhouse so these people can get rich or get a free ride.  ___________________________

An  Indianapolis doctor’s letter to Sen. Bayh about  the Bill (Note:   Dr. Stephen E. Frazer, MD practices as an  anesthesiologist in Indianapolis, IN )   Here is a  letter I sent to Senator Bayh.. Feel free to  copy it and send it around to all other  representatives. — Stephen  Fraser

Senator  Bayh,

As a practicing  physician I have major concerns with the health  care bill before Congress. I actually have read  the bill and am shocked by the brazenness of the  government’s proposed involvement in the  patient-physician relationship. The very idea  that the government will dictate and ration  patient care is dangerous and certainly not  helpful in designing a health care system that  works for all. Every physician I work with  agrees that we need to fix our health care  system, but the proposed bills currently making  their way through congress will be a disaster if  passed.

I ask you  respectfully and as a patriotic American to look  at the following troubling lines that I have  read in the bill. You cannot possibly believe  that these proposals are in the best interests  of the country and our fellow  citizens.

The Crime and Killing Fields of Mexico

Why are the intense crime and killing fields of Mexico, whose northern border meets the United States southern border – NOT BEING DISCUSSED? Why is the real threat of this violence that has already started to rear its ugly head in the United States via an unsecured border not being addressed as a security risk?

Why do we have an Administration and a few Politicians promoting an Guestworker/Pathway = Amnesty plan, instead of taking charge of the situation and enforcing our laws, securing the border and providing safety to the American people? More

“However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface.  In fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing affordable health care choices.  Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated.”

Well, I have done it!  I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009.  I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law.  I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional.  What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.

To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying.  The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of the medical profession.

The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business, and put everyone into a government run system.  All decisions about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats, and most of them will not be health care professionals.  Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled by the government.

However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface. More

Why healthcare reform is not about quality or access

In a recent article, I reported the underlying themes and problems with the healthcare reform proposal.  Basically, that it had nothing to do with reform other than establishing a backdoor REAL ID.  Otherwise, the entire proposal is nothing more than a directive on how you can access care, what care you can access and if and how you would qualify and who is going to get crowned the “czar”.

Also included in this legislative slight of hand is the “public option”.  Sounds good doesn’t it?  And you can keep your private insurance if you want to.  Well, of course you can!

Here’s the deal. If your employer decides he doesn’t want to offer insurance to his employee’s, he will have to pay a fine (tax) which as it turns out will be only a fraction of what it is costing him to offer you that insurance.  What do you think he will do?  How long do you think it will take your employer to realize he could make a lot more profit if he dropped your health coverage?

Where does this leave you?  Looking for that “public option”, I would think.  Both public and private insurance will be managed by the same insurance companies whose former employees reported to the senate committee hearing that they were paid to deny legitimate claims; to avoid paying claims and were paid bonuses to do so.  But the governments remedy is to put them in charge of these two options.  More

Democrats vote against American workers again!!

Greetings To All!

Is it not amazing, that we have the leader of the U.S. House, the leader of the U.S. Senate, & the President of the United States all pleading their case for passing a stimulus bill the last 2-weeks to help maintain or create 3-4 million jobs. But guess what, they conveniently left out “*E-verify” of the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009”. Can you say HYPOCRITE? E-verify would have prevented organizations & employers from receiving stimulus/taxpayer dollars if they were hiring/employing “illegal aliens” (non-U.S. citizens). How can you possibly go before the American people & tell them that you understand their concerns & frustrations about lost jobs, reduced/eliminated health care benefits, reduced/eliminated retirement accounts & that you are there to help them get back on their feet with a straight face (& not include E-verify in this bill)?????? Truly AMAZING!!!!!

If this irritates the hell out of you like it does me, here is a suggested ACTION PLAN:

1)      Call your U.S. Senators & U.S. Representative offices, ask them to explain how this happened? Ask them what you/they can do to get this blatant outage corrected quickly? Make them & you accountable for “CHANGE”!

2)      Call the offices of Rep. Pelosi, Sen. Reid, & President Obama, to share your frustration & to get their explanation of their hypocrisy! Make them & you accountable for “CHANGE”!

3)      Write a letter to your local paper for their editorial page, to expose the legislative folks (in your area) that voted for “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009”, even though E-verify was not part of it.

4)      Call your local talk show hosts/radio stations & ask them to discuss the costs associated with illegal immigration, the increases in visas/legal immigration-the affects, along with the benefits of e-verify.

5)

Forward this on to everyone that you think may have similar concerns/views & ask for their support.

Together, we can help change the mentality in Washington, DC. From one of political interest in you at election time, but after the election the concern is all about taking care of their various lobbyist groups (short term/self interest only).

Nancy Pelosi   1-202-4965

Harry Reid       1-202-224-3542

President Obama  1-202-456-1111

Thanks for any actions on your part!

Neil (The mad orator)
