marcelWhistleblowers is presented in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Whistleblowers Summit July 27-29, 2016 in Washington D.C.

Tonight’s guest is Marcel Reid, co-founder of the Whistleblowers Summit which just concluded their annual meeting on July 29, 2016 in Washington D.C..

The three day summit included speakers with first hand experience with the waste, fraud and abuse that occurs everyday in federal agencies and organizations.  Having faced intimidation, threats and harassment as a result of blowing the whistle on these activities, many of these individuals have had their lives destroyed simply for doing their duty and reporting what they had observed.

The summit serves to give a voice to those who did the right thing but now face the grwoing threat of retaliation for doing so.  Please join us as Ms. Reid reviews this years summit.

“There is no such thing as a “good attorney” who wants to end the nightmare that has been created for you and your loved one. All attorneys are paid out of the “ward’s” assets. This is like asking an oil company to stop drilling for oil. The only way an oil corporation will stop drilling for oil (in a particular area) is when they are certain that all the oil in that area has been depleted. Likewise, attorneys will stop the proceedings when all of your loved one’s money has been converted to attorneys’ fees.”

At least every couple of weeks, I receive a frantic call from a predatory guardianship victim—hoping, somehow, that I will have an answer for him or her.

Each time I receive one of these calls, I am torn up for hours afterwards.

I literally cry.

I have no answers for you. I am simply 100 yards down the road watching you walk the same path I/We have already walked.

Today was one such day. I spoke to the grandson of an 89-year-old woman who is being held hostage in a dungeon they call a nursing home.

She was removed from her grandson’s lovely home–based upon a false allegation. And even though he was cleared of all the allegations, a guardianship was commenced and continues.

That’s it. An allegation. I have stated before that these allegations need not be true. More

House approves $447 billion omnibus spending measure

“The House voted Thursday to approve half a dozen spending bills contained in one large package, as the chamber races to complete its work before adjourning for the year.”

Should we be “grateful” that only $3.9 billion is earmarks?
House OKs $3.9 billion in earmarks in spending bill

Why not? Let one Starve on the Sanctuary:

“Earmark sponsors also defended the projects as important to the nation’s economic recovery. For example, Rep. Sam Farr (D-Carmel), who secured $800,000 for the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail, said the project would help generate tourism dollars.”

Edumicate the masses on the aquatic livestock….that they cannot catch legally :
“Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), a leading critic of pork-barrel spending, singled out for criticism $200,000 provided for the Aquatic Adventures Science Education Foundation in San Diego. ”

and tantalize them with tattered jean design:
“$250,000 for textile research at UC Davis.”

Yes Legislative Branch – there is a Santa Claus – and he resides within and close to the American Taxpayers wallet uhm – heart.

sniff. sniff.
