This is in memory of our friend, Steve Hixon, who was one of the last “seed cleaners” in the United States.
Steve was a real American hero. He stood up against Monsanto for many years. He spoke out. He informed the public about the ways that agricultural technology companies had appropriated public resources and filed patents from seed germ plasm from (taxpayer funded) public universities.
Seed cleaners played an important role in helping farmers save their seeds for planting the next year. They have equipment that sifts the plant materials and “clean” it so that the seeds are separated out and can be given back to farmers to use the next season (at less cost than Monsanto’s seeds). Steve designed and built several versions of the seed cleaning machine he used. Seed cleaners have been nearly wiped out since the introduction of GMO proprietary seeds.
The Monsanto Hearings were public tribunals where people presented testimony regarding the harmful impact that the Monsanto corporation has had on America’s food, farms, communities, and ecosystems.
You can see Steve speak at the Monsanto hearingsHERE.
Steve Hixon tried to protect American farmers and our food. More than that, Steve was a great friend, one of the “good guys” and an American hero. He will be missed.

It’s official: the “mandatory” GMO labeling rule will obscure more than it makes transparent. Action Alert!
The USDA has released its final GMO labeling rule, and it’s not good. As we feared when the agency released its proposal earlier this year, the so-called GMO labeling law will apply only to a narrow set of foods. Congress and the USDA have offered a number of loopholes and exemptions to food companies, undermining any semblance of a consumer’s right to know. It’s as if the USDA asked the food industry to write the rule themselves.
The problems start right at the foundation. The agency has decided to use the term “bioengineered”—a term many Americans may not be familiar with—rather than GMO. When the proposal was released, we pointed out that this is straight out of an Orwellian playbook. Many Americans know the term “GMO” and can connect it to the labeling debate—so the government decides to use a different term that sounds more innocuous. If the government was actually concerned with communicating information clearly to consumers, they would simply use the term “GMO” and not other terminology with which Americans may not be familiar.
The problems continue with the definition of “bioengineered.” The final rule defines bioengineered as a food that 1) contains genetic material that has been modified through in vitro recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) techniques and 2) for which the modification could not otherwise be obtained through conventional breeding or found in nature”—essentially, combining DNA from two different sources, usually two different organisms.
So here we are now in 2018. We are bombarded with media and electronics and dirty electricity. 5 G is about to be the norm. Our bodies are consuming fluoridated water, GMO crops, heavy metals from everything being dumped into the air by the chemtrails as well as the cereal we eat and the vaccines we are poisoned with. In the mean time THEY play with our emotions.
I stumbled across a reference to the Brunswick Affair and got curious as to what it was. I had never heard of it before. Turns out it was a French movie marketed as a “documentary” which had mind control as the subject matter.
People who owned a specific television produced by the Brunswick company would be watching television (tel a vision or tel lie vision) and their tv set would emit ions. This in turn would cause people to go out and buy things they did not need. Examples included men buying women’s clothing and people buying dog food who did not have a dog.
While these issues never happened in real life (or did they?) it is a fact that the movie theaters were able to increase the sale of coke products and popcorn by putting in a one or two frame picture featuring these refreshments embedded in the film. The man or woman viewing the film would not consciously recognize the couple of frames of advertising but their subconscious did. This fact was proven by the increase in sales and we know that while our conscious mind might miss something our unconscious mind does not.
Now having said all of that we are now 56 years later and “government” has had a lot of time to make science fiction a reality. Keep in mind all television stations went digital several years back and analog was done away with. Could there be a reason for that? Of course there is.
Although this article is older, it’s important to keep this in mind: since the United States is a member of the U.N., it must adhere to the U.N.’s rules or face stiff trade sanctions. And we all know it’s all about the money…
This is a REALLY important message. Tomorrow is a big day as we release episode 1 of our new, free-to-view docu-series: GMOs Revealed.
Because of your interest in Vaccines Revealed, I know you will want to see this too. The fact that we are being poisoned and being lied to about it
makes this absolutely vital, ‘need-to-know’ information.
Through the journey of creating GMOs Revealed, I was stunned by what I uncovered. I thought
I understood the GMO issue pretty well… I was wrong.
However, I also discovered many actions I could take for myself and my family to ‘undo’ the horrible health effects of GMOs and the toxic chemicals sprayed on them. So there is an empowering and positive side to the series. And I have to say, our experts were sensational.
The truth is starting to come out and you need to know about it.
You can register now for GMOs Revealed and see the entire 9-part docu-series for no cost at all.
There is no doubt that the GMO agenda has caused the biggest environmental catastrophe in history.
You need to know the facts and you also need to know what actions you can take to safeguard yourself and loved ones.
I made it my passionate mission to bring all of this to you with unbridled truth.
And can I ask you to please share this by forwarding this email to friends and family and other loved ones?
Living in a rural agricultural community, I have witnessed first hand the devastation to the land and water from industrialized agriculture. The other thing I have noticed over the years, is the dwindling numbers and kinds of wildlife, both large and small. It is not uncommon to see major fish kills in rivers, lakes and streams, dead birds and small animals in large numbers around the fields of gmo crops. The continual spraying of toxic chemicals to grow what is widely recognized as crops not fit for human consumption, is not to be stopped.
It only gets worse from here
Having done several Whistleblower’s episodes on my blogtalk channel “TS Radio”, the news that Sonny Perdue will most likely be the new Secretary of Agriculture does not come as good news. Perdue, who is funded and backed by major bio-piracy companies most notably Monsanto, and others who are in the process of overtaking agriculture for profit, should come as no surprise. More
The Zika virus “outbreak” in Brazil has populated recent headlines in the Mainstream (I am informed, as I rarely see any value in checking out tainted sources). The popular shortlist culprit in the alternative Mainstream (mostly sponsored by the same supporters of the Mainstream) is Bill Gates’ genetically modified mosquitos. As Zika virus was first noted in the 1940’s, unless Gates infected the planet by time portal, his freaky mosquitos (presuming they exist) are not the culprit unless what is being labelled “Zika virus” is actually something else. I will continually stress, until I leave this great planet that all (and not some) viruses are caused by forms of inorganic or organic pollution. In the case organic, it often turns out various forms of faeces or other bodily waste products are pollutants. Our bodies, any bodies deal with invading matter in three ways. Firstly they produce…
Yesterday, 275 members (see vote tally here) http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2015/roll462.xml of the U.S. House of Representatives voted in favor of H.R. 1599, the DARK (Deny Americans the Right to Know) Act. By voting for the DARK Act, these politicians voted against truth and transparency, against science, against the more than century-old right of states to legislate on matters relating to food safety and labeling.
They voted against the 90-percent of Americans who are in favor of mandatory labeling of GMOs. They voted against the producers of non-GMO foods.
They voted against you.
Now that the DARK Act has been approved by the House, we’ll have to stop it in the Senate. We have to move fast—because Monsanto is desperate to pass a bill that preempts mandatory GMO labeling laws at the state and federal levels, before Vermont’s GMO labeling law takes effect next year.
H.R. 1599 was sold to Congress via multi-million dollar public relations and lobbying campaigns built on lies and deception. The bill’s sole purpose is to support an industry—Monsanto’s poison-peddling industry—that was founded on lies and deception from the get-go.
Were the Congress members who voted against you fooled by Monsanto’s slick, deceitful packaging of this so-called “Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act”? Or did they simply vote with their wallets, stuffed full of biotech and junk food industry cash?
We don’t know. But we know this: We can’t let this bill get through the U.S. Senate.
“The USDA added, however, that due to “cost concerns,” it did not test for residues of glyphosate. Let’s repeat that: they never tested for the active ingredient in the most widely used herbicide in the world. “Cost concerns”? How absurd—unless they mean it will cost them too much in terms of the special relationship between the USDA and Monsanto.”

Why? Evidence points to glyphosate toxicity from the overuse of Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide on our food. (This is what I have been warning about for a couple of years now and 30,000 supermarket items contain it. Worse yet (?) is the projected cancer increase in most of the population in the next two decades from the impeccable French studies on lab rats who ate our GMO corn.. Sadly most of the big money is all for GMO, regardless of what it does – over $100 Million was spent to defeat citizen proposals to require food to be labelled if GMO in just California, Oregon and Washington State in 2012 – 2014 and be sure to take a close look at the chart at the bottom of the article…R)

Tom Mysiewicz is a biotechnologist. In this article he shares with us his conclusions about the dangers of GMO crops.
By Tom Mysiewicz
Recently, an NGO (non-governmental organization) in Russia—the National Association for Genetic Safety–began working closely with the Russian Duma to enact a set of laws criminalizing the introduction of harmful genetically-modified crops (GM or GMO crops) as well as withholding information on harmful effects of such crops. Russian President Vladimir Putin has indicated he will sign such legislation, saying Russia can grow enough food for itself without genetic engineering it.
“If Americans like to eat such foods, they can eat them,” Putin is reported to have said. But with GMO companies in the U.S. massively campaigning to hide GMO content—do Americans really know what they are eating?
I believe Russia and, increasingly, countries elsewhere, are on the right track in this regard. And I base this belief on my first-hand observations from the inception of GMO crops—and the original promises made and assurances given for this technology—to the much different reality I see today.
As founder and editor of the weekly biotechnology newsletter–BioEngineering News–I covered GMOs and ag-biotech from 1980 through 1993 and was the first journalist allowed (under a secrecy agreement) to cover a Gordon Research Conference. This groundbreaking conference, on Plant Genetic Engineering, was at U.C. Davis in the early 1980s. I have also had hands-on research experience, including lab courses on plant tissue culture in which I cloned a variety of plants from jojoba to redwood.
The original promise of genetic engineering was that crops could be grown without fertilizer or pesticides, in salt water if fresh water was scarce, and that the nutritional content could be altered at will by the addition of genes for amino acids (the building blocks of protein) such as L-lysine and genes coding for vitamins, such as vitamin A. In this “brave new world” hunger and malnutrition would be eliminated by massively higher crop yields. And there would be no down side: We were assured that there would be no actual or consequential harmful effects from such alterations.
Many Americans are not aware that the system of clinical trials and double-blind studies for new drugs means that it can cost $30- to $60-million to get a single new drug through FDA-mandated clinical trials. And, still, how many horror stories have we heard of dangerous drug side effects? Imagine if NO clinical trials were required for new drugs and only some rudimentary safety testing was necessary? Would you feel safe taking a new drug?
On April 23, the Vermont legislature passed a bill mandating that all GMO foods be labeled by July 2016. The bill will now go to Governor Peter Shumlin, who has said he will sign the legislation into law.
Although Connecticut and Maine have already passed GMO labeling laws, Vermont’s bill is unique: unlike its New England neighbors, Vermont decided not to include a “trigger” provision in its bill. So while Connecticut’s and Maine’s bills won’t activate unless enough nearby states also pass GMO labeling laws, Vermont will immediately move forward with the labeling of GMO products.
Not everyone is celebrating. Karen Batra, spokeswoman for the Biotechnology Industry Organization, lamented that, “It’s disappointing that Vermont sees a need to implement such a costly and confusing food labeling program, and that it takes this action despite unequivocal scientific evidence supporting the safety of foods containing genetically modified ingredients. Any state-based law requiring the labeling of foods that contain GMOs creates extra costs for farmers, food manufacturers, distributors, grocers and consumers.”
Ms. Batra’s statement is riddled with inaccuracies. In point of fact, GMO labeling won’t raise costs for consumers or farmers! Moreover, despite what the biotech industry says, GMO foods have not “unequivocally” been proven to be safe—far from it. In fact, in animal studies, they’ve been linked to cancer, birth defects, and digestive issues. It is true that much more research needs to be done about GMO safety, including possible epigenetic effects that would only show up in future generations, but industry has done everything in its power, which is considerable, to squelch such research and those researchers brave enough to undertake it.
Big Food is trying to kill your right to know if the food you’re eating is genetically engineered.
With their anti-labeling allies like Monsanto and Dow, the Grocery Manufacturers Association has teamed up with Koch brothers-backed Congressman Mike Pompeo of Kansas to introduce a federal bill that would deny your right to know.
The bill, which we’re calling the “Deny Americans the Right-to-Know Act (DARK Act),” would:
Prevent states from adopting their own GE labeling laws.
Block any attempt by states to make it illegal for food companies to put a “natural” label on products that contain GE ingredients.
Prevent the Food and Drug Administration from requiring companies to label GE ingredients and instead continue a failed “voluntary” labeling policy.
The bill–crafted by the Grocery Manufacturers Association-led Coalition for Safe and Affordable Food, has just been introduced by Rep. Pompeo, and has reportedly picked up two co-sponsors: Reps. Butterfield (D-NC 1st district) and Blackburn (R-TN 7th district). All three lawmakers serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over GE food labeling.
It’s no surprise that industry chose the Kansas Republican as their cheerleader. Pompeo was the single largest recipient of campaign funds from Koch Industries in 2010. It’s clear that corporate money = legislative favors with Congressman Pompeo.
And now the Koch brothers are teaming up with Monsanto? Monsanto was the single largest contributor against the recent Washington State ballot initiative to label GE foods. Between Washington State and California, Monsanto, along with GMA and other agribusiness companies, have contributed over $67 million to keep consumers in the dark.
So what’s wrong with “voluntary” GE food labeling? In a word: everything. It is grossly misleading for industry—let alone members of Congress—to continue trumpeting the idea that voluntary labeling will solve the overwhelming consumer demand for labeling in the marketplace. In the 13 years that FDA has allowed companies to voluntarily label genetically engineered foods, not one single company has done so.
Without mandatory labeling of GE foods, consumers are being left in the dark about the foods we are purchasing and feeding our families. In 2013, over 50 GE labeling bills were introduced in 26 states, including Hawaii, Washington, Indiana, Missouri, and Vermont.
This industry-backed bill will cut these state labeling bills off at the knees and replace them with an undemocratic, hollow “voluntary” labeling scheme that does nothing to address consumer interests and only serves to allow corporations to deny us our right to know.
The overtaking of several sectors of the federal government by private corporations who routinely use congress and the president to codify their unlawful activity to expand their monopolies has just received a huge gift package from those fine jackasses in the District of Criminals. Monsanto just received a payoff on its massive funding of campaign contributions on both sides of the isle, having the favor returned in the form of a free pass on any kind of control or any kind of judicial penalty on their collective species of invasive seeds.
The Continuing Resolution (CR) which has been pitched as a crisis bill because otherwise the world would come to an end, included a so-called sneak attack by Monsanto that would give it a free pass. The Monsanto Rider avoids USDA controls and eliminates any judicial system interference. Obviously unconstitutional, the rider violates the right to due process by those harmed by this corporation and establishes a clear pattern of collusion against the public at large. No one actually wants Monsanto’s products and the grassroots resistance to these toxic crops has been non-stop. Both houses of congress of course ignored the public backlash as they voted on a full scale corporate hiney hugging love fest.
Through a carefully constructed system of market manipulations, predatory practices, and with the complete cooperation of the USDA and the courts, Monsanto has relentlessly worked to end any farming endeavors that have not been consumed by their market monopoly. It also helped out immensely that Michael Taylor, alleged former attorney for Monsanto was somehow appointed to the newly created and unconstitutional office of “Food Czar” right inside the White House! I cannot help but wonder what input he may have had in this rotten deal.
The actual intent of this rider was to relieve congress, the courts and federal agencies such as the USDA, from having to publicly expose themselves as bought and paid for. This rider actually serves to relieve them of having to expose themselves to any scrutiny or to require them to take any position arbitrary to Monsanto that might cause the money train to run off the rails. On August 20th, 2010, the FDA issued a recall and alert of an estimated 300 million (or was it billion?) eggs that were produced at Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa. Far from being the first time this egg company had been sited for unsanitary conditions or other FDA violations, the FDA subsequent to the latest infractions which affected consumers in many states, issued a warning letter (yet again) to the company. No one from Wright Egg Company was arrested; no product was seized or destroyed and not one person associated with Wright Egg was taken to court or charged with any crimes. What did follow was a letter of warning.
The letter states: “Failure to take prompt corrective action may result in regulatory action being initiated by the Food and Drug Administration without further notice. These actions include, but are not limited to, seizure and/or injunction.”
No seizure or injunction occurred. In fact,Wright County Egg really never missed a day of production, or was penalized in any meaningful way for their ongoing disregard of FDA standards.
“The FDAis in ongoing communications with Wright County Egg to ensure that appropriate preventive measures are put in place to reduce the risk of recurrence.”

How can a mutated germ plasm be so vastly different that a patent can be obtained and, at the same time, be so substantially the same as the germ plasm it was derived from that it should be generally considered safe and unregulated?” Someone? Anyone?
_____________________________________________
The recent deregulation of genetically mutated bluegrass is the first domino to fall in the scheme to deregulate all gmo’s and to avoid having to label these disgusting creations so that consumers, many of whom are fully aware of the dangers of these products, can choose to avoid them. The economic power wielded by consumers via their food dollars would quickly put an end to genetic modification, mutation and alteration. Therefore, regulation, control, liability for harm and damage along with labeling, must be avoided at all costs.
The reduction of biodiversity as a result of the infestation of transgenic plants and crops will cause the rise of monocultures where a single crop is grown in a region or, becomes the only crop that will grow wiping out any biodiversity and by necessity causing a rise in the use of pesticides and herbicides as insects and weeds alike develop a tolerance to genetically mutated seeds and chemical applications. This infestation and resulting contamination of food crops in particular, or those crops to be used for feeds and fuel should be treated for what they actually are: the equivalent of AIDS in the plant world.
Transgenic crops are protected by fraudulent patents and will eventually be used to eradicate all rights to regional germ plasms. The GATT agreement will facilitate the loss of the right of farmers in any given region to reproduce or save seed, and will prohibit the sharing of seed; exactly what is being implemented now. More
USDA’s APHIS assessment determined that while the plant meets the definition of a “noxious weed,” Kentucky bluegrass has not been found to cause impacts significant enough to warrant regulation at the Federal level

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is the center of one of government’s biggest shams.
As a member of the National Invasive Species Council, the USDA has a mandate to “not authorize, fund, or carry out actions that it believes are likely to cause or promote the introduction or spread of invasive species in the United States or elsewhere.”
Your tax payer dollars are paying for the eradication of invasive specieslike stink bugs and salt cedar.
Meanwhile, more of your tax dollars are funding the vast promotion of the ultimate invasive species: genetically engineered plants and cloned animals. This includes USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) which was formerly CSREES, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Economic Research Service (ERS), Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).
Invasive species are any species not native to an ecosystem, and with an intentional or unintentional release, are likely to cause, or does cause, economic or environmental harm, or harm to human health.
Consider this when you see what the USDA has allowed to be field tested in the U.S.:
Human genes in barley, corn, tobacco, rice, and sugarcane
Mouse genes in corn, along with human genes
Simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) and Hepatitis B genes in corn

While many individuals and groups have waged a constant and frustrating battle against the coming total seizure and control of food production as practiced by family farmers and ranchers historically, several questions have gone unanswered. The biggest of all of course is, why?
Common sense, combined with critical and analytical thinking, cannot produce a rational answer for the onslaught of legislation, expansion of government agencies known for their incompetence and waste, and the complicity of state governments.

By now you’ve heard how President Obama and his Monsanto Administration have plowed through approvals of three more genetically engineered products, including GE alfalfa. Well, here’s something else you should know:
To produce its Round-Up Ready Alfalfa seeds, Monsanto partnered with a company called Forage Genetics International, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Land O’Lakes dairy co-op. That’s right, Land O’Lakes stands to make a fortune from polluting our food supply with untested and unlabeled GMOs.
To protest, you could sign one of the many petitions going around that will likely just be ignored. But there’s another way to show your disapproval of genetically engineered Round-Up Ready Alfalfa: Boycott all Land O’Lakes products — its butter, cheese, eggs, speads, margarine, seasonings, creams, cocoa and cappuccino mixes, sour cream and milk. All of them.
You have the power to economically punish Land O’Lakes — the owner of Forage Genetics, Monsanto’s partner in crime — for its role in polluting the food chain with untested and unlabeled GMOs, increasing the use of toxic glyphosate herbicide, and potentially destroying the organic beef and dairy feed market by loudly refusing to support Land O’Lakes with your dollars.
Tell all your friends to go to all the supermarkets in their area and let the check-out clerks know that they’re boycotting Land O’Lakes products until they are out of the GMO business, loud enough for other shoppers to hear. And next, stop by the store manager’s desk and tell him about the boycott.
Send Land O’Lakes and other companies a clear message: HAY you — We’re FED UP with GMOs in our food supply!
And to make sure Land O’Lakes knows why its sales are down, contact its president and CEO Chris Policinski and let him know you won’t be buying Land O’Lakes products anymore because you don’t want genetically engineered food or animal feed:

Farmers like genetically modified (GM) crops because they can plant them, spray them with herbicide and then there is very little maintenance until harvest. Farmers who plant Monsanto’s GM crops probably don’t realize what they bargain for when they sign the Monsanto Technology Stewardship Agreement contract. One farmer reportedly ‘went crazy’ when he discovered the scope of the contract because it transfers ALL liability to the farmer or grower.
Here is the paragraph that defines Monsanto’s limit of liability that shifts it to the farmer:
“GROWER’S EXCLUSIVE LIMITED REMEDY: THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE GROWER AND THE LIMIT OF THE LIABILITY OF MONSANTO OR ANY SELLER FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES, INJURY OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR HANDLING OF SEED (INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) SHALL BE THE PRICE PAID BY THE GROWER FOR THE QUANTITY OF THE SEED INVOLVED OR, AT THE ELECTION OF MONSANTO OR THE SEED SELLER, THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SEED. IN NO EVENT SHALL MONSANTO OR ANY SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.” More
