Marcel Reid, within a few years of entering the world of grassroots activism, shifted from pointing out institutional injustices against low- and middle-income communities to calling foul on the very “social justice”

organization where she had been devoting untold amounts of time and effort.

Discovering theft and fraud at the highest levels the Association of Community for Reform Now (ACORN) transformed Reid from community activist to whistleblower. More

NOT WITHOUT MY MOTHER!!! A VICTIM’S STORY FROM MINNESOTA TO GREECE

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On May 2, 2016, my mother and I fled from her Minnesota guardian and Judge who collaborated with attorneys to create a guardianship based on a fraudulent diagnosis. The only thing wrong with my mother was that she had two sons that continually pursued her, at the expense of her life and her health, for control of her estate. As a result of family discord, the racketeers banded together to create a lucrative guardianship. After my mother suffered isolation and inappropriate drugging with the judge’s approval for almost two years, we determined the only way out was to run, and run we did! My mother and I are currently living in exile in Greece; the country she immigrated from.
Her guardian, Dan Lodahl, principle of First Fiduciary Corporation (City of Eagan) has many complaints against him. These complaints are well known throughout Minnesota, but are consistently and systematically ignored and hidden from the public.  Mr. Lodahl and his wife, Michelle Lodahl, use unethical billing practices while forcing wards to submit to their demands through false imprisonment, isolation, and inappropriate drug ingestion to promote unconsciousness and early death. Dan Lodahl is the Jared Shafer (Nevada) of Minnesota: untouchable.
My mother recently told a reporter, “When my husband died, everyone came after me just because they could. I had a life, a home, money; they took everything.”  Family members, attorneys, a physician, a Judge, a guardian and assisted living facility staff perpetrated incomprehensible cruelty against my mother and I.  We are law abiding citizens, professionals in our field, that are now fugitives seeking refuge from criminals.
For three years, as the guardian and judge fraudulently denied knowledge of my mother’s whereabouts, my mother was completely dependent on my VA disability for all her living and medical expenses.   The guardian continued to bill her estate thousands of dollars for his salary and expenses that he created without a ward in his jurisdiction. The guardian did everything in his power to deny my mother’s request for her social security income, which she finally received in 2019. He had, and has, no concern for the welfare of ‘his ward.’  She is simply a cash cow.
Despite notifications to the guardian of his ward’s location, he and the judge continue to declare her as missing hoping to make it to the four-year requirement in Minnesota that allows them to designate a missing person as deceased (Death in Absentia). This would give them faster access to her estate in probate court, which they can utilize to deplete her entire estate to fill their own pockets.
Although we are free, we will never truly be free. After a lifetime of dedication to her work, and carefully saving for her future security and that of her children, my mother cannot afford to live the life she worked for. She lost everything to guardianship. I lost everything to save her. Our losses are much deeper than financial; we cannot spend our senior years with our children and grandchildren and we cannot live the life we planned. We live in constant fear of being pursued. We are forced to live a life in exile while unwillingly relinquishing control of my parent’s estate and family legacy. We cannot return to the United States or I will be sentenced to jail and my mother will be forced back into human trafficking.
Currently, the only way out of guardianship is to let the racketeers steal your estate, accept defeat, and escape the country to regain your freedom – your life.
The Devil Lives in Virginia: The Conspiracy that Killed Anastasia Adams – by Yolanda Adams-Bell
“The devil is the personification of evil as it is conceived in many and various cultures and religious traditions. It is seen as the objectification of a hostile and destructive force.”
-Wikipedia
The Devil Lives in Virginia chronicles the story of Anastasia Adams’ nine-month ordeal from her abduction to her murder from the viewpoint of her family.  It is a story of a family’s desperate fight and struggle to free Anastasia from a system (and its predatory guardianship) that was created to help individuals like her but instead abandoned her to nine months of untold pain and suffering.  It is a story of massive obstruction, the powerful and morally bankrupt preying on the weak and those that protect them from accountability.  It is a story of public apathy and indifference to the abuse, neglect and torture that is right under their noses and within their line of sight.  It is the ultimate commentary on the attitude “if it doesn’t affect me it does not matter, it does not exist”.  It is a story of lives – countless lives lost, but most importantly it is a story of two sisters, a bond that only sisters share, and their love for one another.
In 2005 Yolanda became her sister Anastasia’s sole caregiver after she suffered a brain injury.  On February 15, 2017 after being hospitalized for pneumonia and developing fluid around her heart and a hospital born infection Yolanda’s sister Anastasia was abducted by Inova Fairfax Hospital, a well-known and major level one trauma center in the Washington, D.C. suburbs of Northern Virginia, through a legally questionable guardianship.  While in the custody of Inova’s contracted guardians Anastasia allegedly suffered horrendous neglect and abuse.  When Yolanda blew the whistle on what Inova, their guardians, and the Fairfax County Circuit Court, were doing the guardians isolated and then allegedly killed her sister.  Nine months after abducting Anastasia the guardians ended her life through dehydration and starvation.  After 6 days without food or water, doped up on the opiates Fentanyl, Morphine, and other sedating medications Anastasia succumbed and died on November 16, 2017. Due to the guardians severe restrictions on visitation for Anastasia she died alone, without family or clergy there to comfort her.
Yolanda is now focused on ensuring what happened to her much beloved sister never happens to anyone else because elderly and disabled lives matter.
“During your campaign, you pledged that “As AG, I will increase resources to defend seniors from neglect, abuse, and exploitation. I’ll ensure that unsafe assisted living facilities and in-home care providers are stripped of their licenses, issue scam notifications for public awareness, and vigorously prosecute cases of Medicaid fraud.”
It seems this particular promise came with conditions that did not include anyone other than allegedly abusive family members or low-level nursing home employees such as CNAs.
Clearly, with regards to this issue, you are just another corrupt politician.”
Open letter to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel
Ms. Nessel,
In 2018, as you were running for Michigan Attorney General, I was an award-winning investigative journalist, member of the LGBTQ community and Democrat. Had I also been a resident of Michigan, I would have cast an enthusiastic vote for both you and Governor Gretchen Whitmer. This was not because of my political and social backgrounds.
I’ve interviewed politicians, lines of them. All of them parroted whatever talking points they thought my newspaper’s readers wanted to hear. The post-election reality was, as expected, entirely different.
You ran a campaign that seemed to be based on genuine sincerity rather than expedient politics.
“It’s just a basic belief that it’s never the wrong time to fight for justice,” you said. “It’s never the wrong time to fight for what’s right, and that there are so many people out there clamoring for representation, clamoring to have their voices heard, clamoring for recognition of their rights and equal dignity, just as human beings.”
Having spent my career, driven by the same ideology, your promises resonated with me as much as they clearly did with Michigan’s voters who included the voiceless.
But the post-election reality is that you have not only broken that promise, but actively shielded the alleged perpetrators of some of the most horrific and repugnant crimes and flagrant abuses of civil and human rights in Michigan’s history. More
Adoption From Foster Care – Is it More About the Money Than the
The numbers do not add up. There are more children adopted out of foster care to non-family members than there are “substantiated” allegations of abuse or neglect against the parents. The data calls into question the entire rationale that has been given for funding adoptions from foster care.
The Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 (ASFA), promoted by the Clintons and passed by Congress, was publicized as an important means of “keeping those poor, abused, neglected foster children from languishing in foster care, helping them to find their Forever Families.
At the time when ASFA was enacted, The Washington Post touted the bill as:
the most significant change in federal child-protection policy in almost two decades.
The rhetoric sounded good, and it resonated with millions of Americans, and with lawmakers. The problem is – that is not what is happening.
Instead, hundreds of thousands of children are being taken from families whose biggest crime may be that they are poor, or that they asked for a second medical opinion for their child.
ASFA Adoption Bonuses – Only Apply to Stranger Adoptions
The Adoption and Safe Families Act provides large amounts of federal dollars to states and Child Protective Service (CPS) agencies, to the tune of billions of dollars per year, to financially incentivize the adoption of children from foster care.
