Freedom of speech and freedom of the press and the right to privacy are enshrined in the Bill of Rights which is meant to “protect the people” from former kingdoms and present day rogue governments fashioned to rule with an iron hand and monitor people through various means including invasive forms of surveillance, tapping phone lines, using satellites imagining and recording conversations on chipped cellphones, which is also being done by the corporate sector which uses cellphone notifications that are aligned with your conversation or your Internet search words. Who’s watching and listening now, Google and Big Brother?
The Chinese people are already being monitored to the point that major privileges will be taken away if that person is not aligned with government rules and propaganda that seeks to make their rulers demi-gods and their rogue government their “safety net.” Fat chance. This is something that our founders were well aware of and that is why the Bill of Rights was born and fashioned to protect the people from their own government.
However, When ideological tyrants rule under the guise of democracy or a Republic, and for the “good of the whole”, checks and balances are ignored, censorship is born while disinformation reins, and thus, in this horrid state of affairs, it is inevitable that the socio-political-cultural and economic needs of the people are sadly replaced by dreamers, idealists and corrupt special interests, which are inside and outside of the government. This is what is now going on in America, plain and simple. We can deny it and go on with our lives as if nothing is happening that could destroy the foundation of America but, lo and behold, America is now on the brink of falling away, but is there someone out there who will carry the torch of liberty before it is too late? The flame is about ready to go out because the people are rapidly losing control of their country.
Finally, these far reaching consequences within the state, which are treasonous and unconstitutional, becomes tyranny when there is rampant corruption and a total loss of the rule of law within and outside of government to where freedom is then destroyed either through anarchy or massive government control or though biased corporate entities such as Twitter, Facebook, Google and YouTube which regularly censor valuable knowledge which is necessary for making important choices.
Friends, this is America, plain and simple and it is now at the crossroads with an election that may make us or break us. Choose wisely, lest the your basic freedoms and a country, which at one time focused on peace and
love, becomes run over by mob rule and civil unrest. America, the beautiful, it is time for you to return to your roots lest you lose those very ideals that you cherish. Love is the answer.
Historically, the Amish settlement in Lancaster, Pennsylvania happened sometime between the year 1720 and 1730. To this day, their American
beginnings remains truly unique compared to most, in that they were a Godly and close knit people that helped one another while still holding on
to unfamiliar ways that shunned innovation such as the electrical grid light bulbs, automobiles, radio and television. There are many that may not know that kerosene lamps is their only source of light at night. The older Amish continue to stick to their old ways while many of the Amish
youth are ending up seeking greener pastures, so to speak.
With the advent of high tech advances across America, and the inquisitive nature of humans, the Amish are today subject to mass communications like never before and at the same time their very innocence and their delicate culture lies in the balance because of new inventions that bring the
entire world right to their doorstep.
Since the birth of the internet and the smart cellphone, their very world is about to change drastically, but possibly not for the good of the family and their long standing traditions. How will the cellphone affect their lives? Their extremely sheltered life now remains threatened by the introduction of the cellphone. While there is also a variety of ways to keep it charged, which could include solar or a generator, the youth of the Amish have taken an extreme liking to the cellphone, social networking and the mainstream media and those architects of social and cultural change. This could very well be the catalyst that will negatively affect the Amish society, and so much so it will become the end of the innocence.
Lancaster County Amish teens can now be found on Instagram, Facebook & Spotify. One Amish teen, Rebecca Fisher posted a video on Tik Tok which
initially went viral and received 430,000 views after updates. She is only one of many Amish teens who are now under the spell of the net.
As for the Amish and their long standing traditions and their Godly ambitions, will a wide worldly road lead to greener pastures or become the
end of the innocence?
“In February and March 2019, Rep. Schiff contacted Google, Facebook, and Amazon, to encourage them to de-platform or discredit what Schiff asserted to be inaccurate information on vaccines. He then posted the letters and press release on the House.gov website.”
On Jan 15, 2020, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, along with Katarina Verrelli, on behalf of herself and others who seek access to vaccine information, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Plaintiffs allege that Defendant Adam Schiff has abused government power and infringed on their free-speech rights.
“Who appointed Congressman Adam Schiff as Censor-in-Chief?” asks AAPS General Counsel. “No one did, and he should not be misusing his position to censor speech on the internet.”
In February and March 2019, Rep. Schiff contacted Google, Facebook, and Amazon, to encourage them to de-platform or discredit what Schiff asserted to be inaccurate information on vaccines. He then posted the letters and press release on the House.gov website.
Within 24 hours of Schiff’s letter to Amazon dated Mar 1, 2019, Amazon removed the popular videos Vaxxed and Shoot ’Em Up: the Truth About Vaccines from its platform for streaming videos, depriving members of the public of convenient access.
Under a policy announced in May 2019, Twitter includes a pro-government disclaimer placed above search results for an AAPS article on vaccine mandates: “Know the Facts. To make sure you get the best information on vaccination, resources are available from the US Department of Health and Human Services.” The implication of this disclaimer is that if information is not on a government website, then it is somehow less credible.
On Facebook, a search for an AAPS article on vaccines, which previously would lead directly to the AAPS article, now produces search results containing links to the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Institutes of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Visits to the AAPS website have declined significantly since March 2019, both in absolute terms and relative to the decline that would result from a story’s losing its recency.
“The internet is supposed to provide free access to information to people of different opinions,” stated AAPS Executive Director, Jane Orient, M.D.
Dr. Orient continues, “AAPS is not ‘anti-vaccine,’ but rather supports informed consent, based on an understanding of the full range of medical, legal, and economic considerations relevant to vaccination and any other medical intervention, which inevitably involves risks as well as benefits.”
AAPS argues in the complaint against Rep. Schiff: “The First Amendment protects the rights of free speech and association. Included within the right of free speech is a right to receive information from willing speakers. Under the First Amendment, Americans have the right to hear all sides of every issue and to make their own judgments about those issues without government interference or limitations. Content-based restrictions on speech are presumptively unconstitutional, and courts analyze such restrictions under strict scrutiny.”
Editors Note: This is an extremely important article by Anti Media about censorship and the propagandizing of the news you are fed on MSM. Please take the time to read and understand just how bad this is going to be for the public.
While a few, relatively uneventful months in the online news sphere have come and gone since Fly made this ominous warning, it appears that the neoconservatives and other standard bearers of the military-industrial complex and the U.S. oligarchy are now poised to let loose their latest digital offensive against independent media outlets that seek to expose wrongdoing in both the private and public sectors.
As MintPress News Editor-in-Chief Mnar Muhawesh recently wrote, MintPress was informed that it was under review by an organization called Newsguard Technologies, which described itself to MintPress as simply a “news rating agency” and asked Muhawesh to comment on a series of allegations, several of which were blatantly untrue. However, further examination of this organization reveals that it is funded by and deeply connected to the U.S. government, neo-conservatives, and powerful monied interests, all of whom have been working overtime since the 2016 election to silence dissent to American forever-wars and corporate-led oligarchy.
More troubling still, Newsguard — by virtue of its deep connections to government and Silicon Valley — is lobbying to have its rankings of news sites installed by default on computers in U.S. public libraries, schools, and universities as well as on all smartphones and computers sold in the United States.
In other words, as Newsguard’s project advances, it will soon become almost impossible to avoid this neocon-approved news site’s ranking systems on any technological device sold in the United States. Worse still, if its efforts to quash dissenting voices in the U.S. are successful, Newsguard promises that its next move will be to take its system global.
In order to truly be aware of the mission of a social networking site, one needs to understand that privacy and loyalty to the user needs to be first and foremost. Filtering and censorship that is done by a few sites for the purpose of promoting a specific and biased agenda characterized by a certain political stance such as Marxism, or any another rogue ideology, places far reaching limits upon freedoms, nor, is it consistent with the Bill of Rights and becomes a strike at the very heart of America’s constitutional fabric and republic. With that said, America’s core values such as love and liberty that was endowed upon its people was no accident and it came with a cost, and to this day, that mission still requires that its people continue to seek that higher ground and strive for even more justice for all. However. even so, there is another mission that has showed its hand and has already become a clear and present danger, not only to America but also to the rest of the world. Case in point. Facebook’s recent blocking of a post of the Declaration of Independence as “hate speech” is quite over the top by any sense of the word. Suppressing viewpoints and important historical events is clearly an infringement of the First Amendment with regard to freedom of speech and of the press.
I may add that the Washington Times on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 brought to the reader’s attention that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg acknowledged that Silicon Valley is an “extremely left-leaning place” but said he tries to make sure his firm doesn’t “have bias in the work that we do.” So there was no bias in blocking the recent post of the Declaration of Independence, right? This is called “doublespeak” to the max. I find it very hard to even imagine that a social network site would go to these extremes, but then again when I was in my last year of college I was astounded that our Sociology Professor assigned the book Karl Marx. But that wasn’t my first encounter with far left professors during my 4 year college stint in the great late state of California.social networks
The the gods of the anti-free speech campaign have spoken. I’m not sure if they came in with with their own brand of the 10 commandments of political correctness, but they have definitely spearheaded an anti-fake news movement from beautiful downtown Silicon Valley. Since the die hard liberal/progressive/commies lost the election, Facebook and others are on a mission to tamper with the truth and especially the alternative news sources on the internet. Lest we forget, Hitler was on that same page with book burning and propaganda clips over the radio airwaves.
Additionally, since the old Germany lost the war in 1945, this same agenda is, of all things, coming back to Germany but also hitting America, the land of free speech, the free press and the home of the brave. Yes, if we remember, UC Berkley started the back in the 60’s but what happened? Has UC Berkley fallen out of the free speech grace arena? More
Did you know that if a supplement company “Likes” a customer’s Facebook post, it magically transforms nutritional supplements into drugs? The same thing happens if a supplement’s website links to a scientific article!
As recently as this week, the FDA has made attacks like these to expand the agency’s definition of “disease claim.” Why? By saying a supplement makes a disease claim, the FDA can call it a “drug”—and then remove it from the market!
This also has scary implications for the government regulation of Internet searches and speech. If supplement companies start deleting customer comments out of fear of FDA action, then the FDA has effectively limited consumer speech by using the company as a censorship puppet.
It doesn’t stop there: the FDA has something called its Evidence-Based Review System. It’s just a backdoor tactic to require prohibitively expensive studies—as in hundreds of millions of dollars—if companies want to make any claim about the science behind their supplements. Because natural products can’t be patented, supplement companies can never recoup these astronomical costs. Only Big Pharma and their blockbuster drugs can afford to “pay-to-play:”
We’ve had enough. How about you?
Here’s our plan: ANH-USA will submit multiple petitions—strategically supported by our ongoing legal activities—to address, from various angles, FDA’s egregious First Amendment violations. If we win, we ALL win. If the petitions are denied, we’re ready to pursue further litigation.
Immediate action is critical. Unfortunately, this is an expensive project. This is why we need your help!
Our goal is to raise $40,000 by June 14, so we can
kick off our FDA petitions to defend free speech
and supplement access.
The FDA’s actions leave consumers in the dark about the dietary supplements they are buying for themselves and their families. This can be a matter of safety—for you and the ones you love.
The FDA is halfway down the slippery slope of taking away consumer access to supplements. Will you join us in saying, “Enough is enough!”? More
The Frugaldad comes though again with an eye popping chart on just how vulnerable we have become on the web.
Last week we debuted an infographic on the SOPA blackout, showing how the internet has become a powerful tool for activism. But the spread of social media also has its risks. Those same sites that we use to connect to family, friends and our community can also compromise sensitive information. According to Carnegie Mellon researchers, information listed on social media may be enough to guess a social security number, the key to identity theft. And with mobile banking apps, more and more people are logging sensitive information from their smart phones. Add confusing Terms of Service agreements into the mix (they take an average of 10 minutes each to read!), and it’s easy to see why online privacy can feel mystifying.
The following infographic helps explain some of the biggest issues in web safety and gives tips on how to keep yourself protected, from passwords to privacy policies. With a few steps, you can be confident that you control what you share online. Click here to view graphic! More
Google has announced that as of March 1, 2012, they will have full integration of more than 60 Apps that cover all aspects of Google on the net. Marketing their email service as being more “intuitive” might give some of us the warm fuzzies but too many of us know that intuitive is simply another of those handy-dandy word swaps used to manipulate your thinking about an issue or item. “Intuitive” simply means that Google is surreptitiously scanning and recording your mail which turns out to be “surveillance” and not intuition.
To participate in a poll asking if you will cancel your google accounts conducted by the Washington Post go HERE!
Google is not the only internet service that is using or moving to these applications, but they are by far the most malignant. To deactivate any gmail accounts go HERE!
As it is, we do not use Google search or homepage. We will be shutting down all gmail accounts by the middle of February, 2012.
The intuitiveness that gmail refers to is the scanning of your incoming and outgoing communications to determine what your interests are, where you might be going, where you might be located, what your schedule might be and who all you are communicating with. This information is not only used to direct advertising to you whether you want it or not, (and who does?) but also is recorded and handed over to government spy agencies. Political interests and beliefs, religious interests, social groups you belong to, all of your contacts and of course all those “friends” on Facebook are handed over right along with your personal communications. One way or another, the corporate federal government is going to chip and tag us. The first real effort to begin the cataloguing of the people was in 1992 when every state began collecting the dna of every newborn. Until recently, most people had no idea this was even going on. Here in Minnesota, not only were most parents not aware of this collection, but none were told it was an opt-in system, not an opt-out. In other words, they had to agree to have this sample taken, but most were never informed that any samples of this kind were taken at all. The Minnesota Health department then claimed after 45 days, it owned the dna samples and could sell them for experimentation, or other purposes.
All dna gathered for any purpose whatsoever is data-based and uploaded not only into CODIS (the criminal database) but also to Interpol (the international data base). Even the dna of corpses is collected and logged into the system. The Human Genome Project was launched specifically with the intent to eventually identify each and every one of us through our DNA, and link us immediately to any and all family members; even to extended family members we might not even be aware existed. Well, now that the mainstream media, in this case, Associated Press, has admitted it, it’s official: the FBI – and no doubt the NSA, CIA, DOD and other intelligence agencies – are using social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and others to spy on citizens.
While the AP article in question attempts to make it sound legitimate by mentioning a specific case in which a felon on the lam from law enforcement in Mexico posted information about himself on Facebook and was subsequently arrested and is now awaiting extradition, the fact is that the intelligence services and law enforcement are spying on everyone indiscriminately.
This is the same situation we were complaining about in regard to China’s internet policy, just a few years ago when Google, Yahoo and Microsoft all joined together to help the government of China restrict internet access and spy on its citizens via the internet. It’s being done to us, also.
Anyone, especially, who is using Facebook, MySpace or Twitter as a portal for their own anti-NWO activities is surely being monitored.
WHOLE FOOD USA has established a Facebook group to unify the support for Wisconsin Dairy Farmers as the state Agriculture Department has begun systematically closing their businesses down and prosecuting those who refuse to comply with provisions of Codex Alimentarius codified into state code and statute by the agency. This is an unelected bureacracy which granted itself the power to conduct search and seizure of private property without warrant or cause and no oversight.
About Facebook, CAP, and violation of Canadian privacy laws
This note was part of an email from the Canadian Action Party, in response to a question posed to them.Americans should take note of this also.As we have advised you in the past, google, gmail, facebook, myspace and other sites of this nature, routinely data mine all of your info and sell it to any of the 15 spy agencies working for the federal government, including Homeland Security. We thought you might find this email interesting.
The commissioner has ruled amongst other things that facebook has violated our Canadian laws. You should be able to google that judgement.
The Patriot Act gives the US Government access to any data stored on servers in the US if they so desire. There is no requirement to reveal to individuals that their data has been accessed. When the Government of BC decided to out source the medical records of British Colombians to a US firm there was a brief bruhahawhich quickly was relegated to the back pages. Reality is, if you are HIV + or have Hep C there is absolutely no guarantee that the US can not access your records and use them against you.
In fact the servers don’t have to be in the US, if the company operating them is US owned they must divulge info on request, again without even reporting the access/breach.
In Canada if the security of your private info is breached the company or organization that is breached must divulge. I have been advised by both CIBC Visa and Credential Direct (Brokers) when my private info was breached. They provided syrupy “we’re sorry” letters.
IT trade journals routinely report the risks to Canadians.
If you wish specific examples and have no luck with the Privacy Commissioner’s site let me know and I will email examples. I routinely hand the references out to my students advising them that they should be fully aware of the risks of using facebook, myspace, and especially gmail and google applications.
For information on the Canadian Action Party (CAP):
“For all its merits, Facebook is a double-edged sword. It is a platform for getting us to part with personal information with our friends and colleagues – in most cases people you haven’t heard from for years (and with possible good reason!) – and then share the very intimacies of your daily habits and thoughts that you deem as an acceptable level. On the other side, it a way of commercialising those opportunities for gain in a wholly assumed intrusive way, just by mere fact you have decided to use their service.
The company wants to ‘better use the data its users voluntarily offer up on their profiles’, as if voluntarily and human guinea pig could be intertwined in this context, where they are relying on their huge database of people’s demographics, relationships, likes and dislikes as the basis of being able to serve targeted advertising against – and lets face it, they are possibly the strongest website contender for knowing the most about any given user online.
They have within the last month filed a trademark of the term ‘SocialAds’, which is a pleasant term for a concept has been a recurring theme for some while now, and is why I derived the more apt phrase ‘snoop-and-serve‘ advertising that I have blogged about before, or as some have dubbed a ’stealth ad system‘. As a keen advocate of behavioural advertising myself, my beef is not related to targeting per se, but in the way you derive the means for delivery.” (end excerpt)
I have wondered for some time what would make people put personal information, sometimes extremely personal information, onto the web. When Facebook first appeared many people I knew jumped right on there, loading personal info, pictures, and other information about their daily lives or interests for all to see.
As I suspected, Facebook is the number one source for data mining for the government. Everything you post to Facebook and sites like them end up in dossiers on you….and I mean EVERYTHING.
Now this same information is being used to construct what is to be called “Facebots”. These will be little snoopers that will learn to recognize you, and who your friends are, and what your interests are, and what you are doing. And you will never know they are there tracking your every move, every contact you make, and every keystroke on your computer.
Behind this effort is Microsoft/Bill Gates, who has ready access to those in government and who regularly supplies and spies for them via his computer technologies companies. Gates will be funding the research to develop these facebots.
My advice is, get off of Facebook or any other site like it and don’t sign up for any more. It’s strange that most of us are smart enough not to give out personal info to potential scammers over our phones, but so many of us readily put so much personal information onto “social websites”.
Al Ain: Software giant Microsoft has selected a UAE research laboratory to help develop robots.
The Facebots project will be carried out at the Interactive Robots and Media Laboratory of the College of Information Technology at UAE University (UAEU).
Microsoft will provide funding for the research and the UAEU will be one of only eight institutions worldwide where the work is carried out, Dr Rafic Makki, Dean of the CIT, told Gulf News.
Two UAEU scientists, Dr Nikolaos Mavridis and Dr Tamer Rabie, will work on the project.
Facebots utilise social information published on FaceBook. They will know and recognise their human friends, and the friends of their friends, said the dean.
