Duty to Warn

The CIA owns everyone of any significance in the major media…We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American people believe is false.” – William Colby, Ronald Reagan’s Director of the CIA (1981)

The US government’s disinformation campaign to shape the public’s view of important historical events never stops. Propaganda, disinformation and dirty tricks have been part of America even before certain colonial ruling elite’s pretended that the Pilgrims were being nice to – rather than plotting genocide against – the indigenous people at the mythical ”First Thanksgiving”. The “nice” Pilgrims were actually theologically-fascistic witch-believers who regarded the indigenous people as satanic sub-humans whose land could be stolen from them and whose women and children could be massacred with God’s blessings. These so-called Christians sincerely believed that the souls of the native American “subhumans” that had occupied America for 10,000 years could only be “saved” from eternal damnation by being forcibly baptized against their wills into the Christian religion. Sugar-coating the Pilgrim’s decidedly un-Christ-like natures was good for the image of the new nation whose economy would soon be built on the satanic enslavement of other equally” sub-human” black Africans who were about to be kidnapped, cruelly transported from their native lands and then bought and sold in the mythical “land of the free and the brave”.

Many of the widely-accepted myths about our allegedly “honorable” racist ancestors have intentionally obscured the fact that the vast majority of America’s proud slave-owning Founding Fathers were greedy for power and wealth. And yet these and similar myths about the goodness of America’s ruling classes continue to be knowingly taught to grade school students up to the present moment. More

The Shape of Things: Breakaway Civilization

  “We, the people, presumably like our president, want peace; they constantly opt for war, for more war, for international bullying and global provocation, needless deaths (“collateral damage” totaling 60 million-plus fine, inoffensive unfortunate people offed overseas since the end of World War II) and requisite terror delivery…)”

The old adage “Blood is thicker than water” may be true, but if it encapsulates a true insight – and, personally, I wouldn’t bet against it – it flies directly in the face of unfettered discernment and reason. Ask yourself this: if a relative of yours gets into a significant dispute with a non-relative, but you know in your head he or she is for certain of more than likely objectively in the wrong and the generic other disputant in the right, whose side will you be more likely to champion? Let’s say a nephew of yours gets in a cage-match-level dust-up with his about-to-be ex-wife, who is furiously indignant and vindictive in the divorce proceedings because she claims he cheated on her. Will you: a) try to console your nephew by saying, “That bee-itch! She knows no such thing! Tell her to take a flying leap!”, or b) confront him with a question, “Well, did you cheat on her?” The old adage predicts you would most likely select Option a) and secure your place at the Thanksgiving table.

In the last week, erstwhile Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his lovely daughter were apparently poisoned while sitting on a park bench in London, and western top leaders and media immediately, as one, denounced and reacted indignantly, in high dudgeon, against Putin and Russia without a smidgeon of evidence as having absolutely done it and, in clear violation of international law, the British banned Russia from participating in the still-to-come criminal investigation; while Russia categorically denied having anything to do with the incident, pointing out that they had imprisoned and released the rascal and could at any time have killed him if they had wanted to – without attracting international infamy. A possible set-up, open inquest definitely needed, or the dirty Russians did it? It’s your call. More

A Summary of What is Likely to Have Been a False Flag Operation in Syria

The narrative accompanying the video footage that swayed Trump showed the now discredited-as-propaganda “White Hat” brigade members trying to hose down the dying poison gas victims in a region where there is no American presence. The unknown makers of the video claimed that the chemical agent responsible was military-grade Sarin gas.

Within hours after the Al Queda video went viral, a pair of U.S. Navy destroyers – that had been pre-positioned in the eastern Mediterranean – launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles (at a cost of some $1.5 million each, which equals $85,000,000 of scarce taxpayer dollars in one pop, to the delight of some weapons manufacturer or other), targeting aircraft, hardened shelters, fuel storage, munitions supply, air defense and communications facilities at the Syrian air base. Only 20% of the air base was disabled and jets were flying out of the base within a few  days.

The cooler heads of most of the members of the UN Security Council refused to blame Assad until further study of the facts were examined by an independent group.

This space is reserved for the true story, if we Americans are ever allowed to hear it.

*“Perhaps there is no more fitting tribute…to all wars everywhere – than the closing chapters of Johnny Got His Gun. Published on September 3, 1939, two days after the start of WWII. Dalton Trumbo’s novel was about a World War I veteran whose four limbs, face and genitals had been blown away by a shell but had been kept alive in a secret military hospital as a curiosity. He is deaf, dumb, and blind, and must lift and drop his head against a hospital pillow to tap out – in Morse code – what he wants to tell mankind. He asks that the wretched trunk of his body be placed in a glass case and taken around the world on display. One of the last powerful paragraphs of the book ends this way: ‘I know the truth and you don’t you fools. You fools you fools you fools…” More

DIGITAL KINGDOMS AND OUR FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The idea of freedom has been one big part of the American Dream for as long as I can remember.  It is a word that has been embedded in our culture for over two centuries and it was the reason why so many immigrants have fled their own countries to the land of the free and the home of the brave.
 For the cause of freedom, American soldiers have fought abroad in many wars but also for the purpose of preserving unity, liberty, and individual rights for all.  Notice, I did not include justice because that word  is far too ambiguous.  What may be just to one person may not be just for another.
The times they are a changing.
Now taking the freedom factor a bit further, the framers of the U.S. Constitution insured the people’s freedoms by drafting the Bill of Rights which were the first 10 amendments to the Constitution and these tenets were generally meant to protect the common people, but not from those enemies abroad as much as it was to protect the people from their own government.  China and numerous countries do not have this protection.  Yet, this truth will not be found in ones elementary school textbook nor will it be found in any books that are
assigned by a professor in a university.
Lessons for the Sanders’ Revolution of 2016 From the Doomed Progressive Politics of the Post-Vietnam Era in Australia
“Fear and negativity won out in Australia after the coup. Again, that familiar tune. We learn from this that opponents of change will do anything. As we’ve seen here, they will play dirty, they will vow and pledge and undermine like there’s no tomorrow. We cannot expect them to abide by democracy or decency.” – Meaghan Delahunt
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Four decades ago in Viet Nam War-era Australia, after a decade in which that nation’s progressive thinkers (especially its logically anti-imperialist, antiwar youth) were fed up with Australia’s collaboration in the stupidity and the atrocities of the American-led Vietnam War, a political movement emerged that came close to revolutionizing the ever-lasting right-wing Australian political system.

The early 1970s were exciting times for progressives, and it was happening at the exact same time that the disastrous and ill-conceived agendas of Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger were provoking chants in the streets that said “Hell No, We Won’t Go”. Australian progressives were sympathizing with returning American Viet Nam veterans who testified about the war crimes that they had committed “in country” and then, in disgust, went to Washington, DC and threw their military medals at the Pentagon.

The revolutionary Australian movement of the early 1970s was virtually indistinguishable from the politics of the 2016 Bernie Sanders-led movement that came close to upsetting America’s entrenched, conservative, perpetual war, pro-Wall Street, pro-privatization political system that has had increasingly firm control of America’s electoral politics for the last century. Back then, in Australia’s major parliamentary elections of 1972 and 1974, the Australian Labour Party’s very popular progressive politician (and democratic socialist) Gough Whitlam was elected and then re-elected as Prime Minister. Whitlam was vigorously opposed by the very conservative (right-wing, NeoLiberal) Liberal Party – the equivalent of the conservative Tory Party in England.

Below is what author Meaghan Delahunt has to say about how progressive politics in Australia was decapitated. Delahunt has uniquely experienced both the crushing Australian coup d’etat in 1975 and the equally crushing (and failed) Scottish Independence Referendum of 2014 (to gain independence from Great Britain). Dr. Mary’s Monkey….and now you know the rest of the story

     Note: I read this book two years ago.  It is by far one of the best researched and documented works I have ever read.  Whatever you thought you knew about the assassination of JFK, the people involved in it and who Lee Harvey Oswald really was, will be forever changed.

    Dr. Mary’s Monkey

                                                 Edward T. Haslam (2007 TrineDay)

Book Review

How the unsolved murder of a doctor, a secret laboratory in New Orleans and cancer-causing monkey viruses are linked to Lee Harvey Oswald, the JFK assassination and an emerging cancer epidemic

Dr Mary’s Monkey provides a detailed history of how the Salk and Sabin polio vaccines administered to three million baby boomers were accidentally contaminated with a cancer causing monkey virus known as Simian Virus 40 (SV-40). It also describes the massive cover-up initiated by the American Cancer Society and National Institutes of Health (NIH), which encouraged doctors to continue administering the contaminated vaccine.

The book skillfully interweaves the history of SV-40 with new information about Lee Harvey Oswald’s intelligence career released under the 1992 JFK Records Collection Act. Haslam focuses considerable attention on David Ferrie, a CIA pilot and Oswald’s long time friend and mentor. It’s believed that Ferrie first recruited Oswald to the CIA when he joined Ferrie’s Civil Air Patrol troop as a high school student.

Conspiracy Theories, Disinformation Agents and the CIA

Duty to Warn

new-logo25kohlsBy Gary G. Kohls, MD

“Conspiracy theory’ is a term that strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events as off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States, raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs… CIA Document 1035-960 played a definitive role in making the ‘conspiracy theory’ term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question.” From CIA Document 1035-960

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.” William Casey, Ronald Reagan’s first CIA Director (from Casey’s first staff meeting, 1981)

“It is quite easy for a disinformation agent to spin a rich disinformation tale and then craft several different versions of the tale with new ‘facts’ to support the story in each one. These tales are usually a good mix of verifiable facts and cleverly designed lies, so that people who check the ‘facts’ tend to believe the lies that are mixed in.” — from: http://www.wanttoknow.info/g/disinformation-agents

It wasn’t very many years after the world-wide web became operational that it was contaminated by secret disinformation agencies and also by individuals that were eventually called internet trolls. Trolls (defined below) began interjecting themselves – uninvited and unwanted – into otherwise useful and productive conversations involving web-groups of like-minded individuals.

These trolls, intent on scurrilously confusing various website commenters, seemed to delight in angering up certain online groups. Typically, a lot of time and effort was wasted in such fake arguments before members of the group finally realized that they had been ambushed by a disinformation agent.

Many folks might recall how promising were the prospects for the internet’s new method of communication that was affordable, quick and paperless. Many envisioned an internet that was “without commercial interruptions” and a way to promote healthy interactions between well-meaning people of different races, religions, politics, commitments, lifestyles and cultures.

Progressive-thinking folks without ulterior motives saw the internet as a new way to explore and solve some of the common threats to them or the planet. Peacemakers saw the internet as a tool that could expose the ideological enemies of the exploited 99% and perhaps even unite against the predatory elites in the ruling 1%. Some saw opportunities to expose and then eliminate fascism, racism, militarism, corporatism, bigotry, pollution, over-population and income inequality (and, more recently, global climate change) and to foster understanding and cooperation between various cultures.

Tragically, before you could say “corrupt crony capitalism”, the web was dominated – and then essentially owned – by profiteering corporations that saw world peace and cooperation as a threat to their greedy profiteering goals. (Peace is never as profitable as war or the rumors or war.) More
