Night of the Ottholes
Join us tonight as Austin Gibson joins the show to tell how the Ottholes recently devoured her home. The Ottholes have a rapacious appetite and are never satisfied.
Real life zombies walk among us in Pennsylvania. To hide their decay and soulless existence, they dress themselves up to look like normal people. They aren’t!! One of these Ottholes could be standing right next to you disguised as a judge, an attorney or a professional [predator] guardian, all of whom prey on the public for sustenance.
These Ottholes suck the life out of the community, preying on the elderly, liquidating assets, seizing homes and selling them for profit. Known for their proclivity for stealing the products of someone elses life’s work, they fatten themselves on the estates of those they sink their claws into.

Tonight, Patricia & Robert Femia join us to talk about the downstream effects of predatory guardianships. Patricia’s mother, captured and isolated from her family, soon succumbed to the psychological torture inflicted upon her. In a classic case of trauma based bonding, she rejected all ties to her daughter and her family. Instead, she identified with her captors. In what was a clear case of the Stockholm Syndrome, and the effects on the family as this unfolded were staggering.
“This horrific ordeal has left me and my family completely heart-broken. My mother was taken care of and had her daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren living closely around her every day. She lived comfortably, was healthy and had her independence for many years. Once this whole scenario unfolded, she died all alone in a nursing home.”
Tune in as Patricia and Robert tell how they managed to survive this attack on their family, and where are they today in managing the damage.

The Devil Lives in Virginia: The Conspiracy that Killed Anastasia Adams – by Yolanda Adams-Bell
“The devil is the personification of evil as it is conceived in many and various cultures and religious traditions. It is seen as the objectification of a hostile and destructive force.”
-Wikipedia
The Devil Lives in Virginia chronicles the story of Anastasia Adams’ nine-month ordeal from her abduction to her murder from the viewpoint of her family. It is a story of a family’s desperate fight and struggle to free Anastasia from a system (and its predatory guardianship) that was created to help individuals like her but instead abandoned her to nine months of untold pain and suffering. It is a story of massive obstruction, the powerful and morally bankrupt preying on the weak and those that protect them from accountability. It is a story of public apathy and indifference to the abuse, neglect and torture that is right under their noses and within their line of sight. It is the ultimate commentary on the attitude “if it doesn’t affect me it does not matter, it does not exist”. It is a story of lives – countless lives lost, but most importantly it is a story of two sisters, a bond that only sisters share, and their love for one another.
In 2005 Yolanda became her sister Anastasia’s sole caregiver after she suffered a brain injury. On February 15, 2017 after being hospitalized for pneumonia and developing fluid around her heart and a hospital born infection Yolanda’s sister Anastasia was abducted by Inova Fairfax Hospital, a well-known and major level one trauma center in the Washington, D.C. suburbs of Northern Virginia, through a legally questionable guardianship. While in the custody of Inova’s contracted guardians Anastasia allegedly suffered horrendous neglect and abuse. When Yolanda blew the whistle on what Inova, their guardians, and the Fairfax County Circuit Court, were doing the guardians isolated and then allegedly killed her sister. Nine months after abducting Anastasia the guardians ended her life through dehydration and starvation. After 6 days without food or water, doped up on the opiates Fentanyl, Morphine, and other sedating medications Anastasia succumbed and died on November 16, 2017. Due to the guardians severe restrictions on visitation for Anastasia she died alone, without family or clergy there to comfort her.
Yolanda is now focused on ensuring what happened to her much beloved sister never happens to anyone else because elderly and disabled lives matter.

A Michigan court tasked with protecting its most vulnerable citizens has become home to a roiling controversy charging abuse, exploitation, robbery and neglect.
By Gretchen Rachel Hammond
In the frigid, early morning of Monday, March 25, 2019, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel held a press conference announcing a task force primarily charged with reforming a court system rooted in medieval English law.
According to state and national activists, it’s a system that has been left unchecked for decades and is now so broken that it has led to unprecedented judicial overreach and the eradication of the constitutional, civil and human rights of thousands of Americans who have suffered from resulting neglect, isolation, abuse, torture and theft on a massive scale, allegedly at the hands of the same individuals assigned to protect them.
Both in Michigan and nationwide, the system is called “guardianship” and/or “conservatorship.” Once assigned to an individual that a probate or family court judge declares “legally incapacitated” and unable to manage their own affairs, often a complete stranger in the form of a court-appointed guardian or conservator assumes control over every aspect of that person’s life.
Every last possession, penny and decision is handed over to one of Michigan’s professional guardians and conservators culled from a pool of county public administrators, estate and probate attorneys or private guardianship companies.
In as little as a year, wards have been rendered completely indigent and reliant upon social services and benefits such as Medicaid. Their homes are gone, as are their savings accounts, IRAs, investment accounts, cars, personal belongings, keepsakes, heirlooms, jewelry and even their clothing. Every dollar of their social security, disability income or pensions falls under the control of their guardians with the exception of an allowance as low as $60 per month.
Inevitably, it’s the developmentally disabled and exponentially growing senior populations who are the most affected not only in Michigan but nationwide. Advocates for both groups claim that guardianship, by design, results in a “civil death” for those who are subjected to it and that, although free from any charges of wrongdoing, a person under guardianship has less rights than an imprisoned felon.
Pro-guardianship organizations claim such statements are histrionic; that a guardian has simply assumed the rights of an incapacitated individual, also called a “ward,” as a protective barrier against those who would exploit them. More

This was sent to members of the Virginia legislature during the 2018 General Assembly. Their response (not all), or lack there of, shows how morally bankrupt Virginia government has truly become. Nothing has changed since.
“I am broken by the events over the last year culminating in the horrific death of my precious sister Anastasia. My faith has been shaken to its core and faith in my fellow man no longer exists. I know we are told, or it is said, we should not question God but I awake each morning and go to sleep each night with the questions “God why did you let them kill Anna? Why did you allow them to isolate her and make her die alone?” Every day and throughout the day I ask “why”? As I awake with these questions and the pain and sorrow that instantaneously come with the opening of my eyes, with the realization that my beloved sister Anastasia is no longer on this earth, my body is tense and ridged – sometimes to the point of shivering. I want to hide under the covers and not emerge. I know I cannot so each day begins with a heavy and weeping heart that remains with me until my body takes over and sleeps again however briefly.
I see the ever-present image of my sister Anastasia and what they did to her, how they tortured and tormented her. I see how her body collapsed into itself when they took away her food source and water. I see how her eyes void of moisture dulled and her eyelids stuck frozen mid-blink so the lower third of her left eye was exposed in a dull perpetual stare; and how the eyeball itself showed no moisture, dry like a dehydrated sunny side up egg – the yolk her pupil. I see my sister Anastasia trying to see me, her right eye frozen shut, her hands – so dehydrated – literally skin and bone, her body emaciated not even able to hold up her head.

Edith + Eddie, the Academy Award nominated documentary that addresses the issue and horrors of abusive Guardianships appears to be the odds on favorite to win in its category.
Therefore, we must all support this documentary! We know for a fact that most people are not aware of the dark side of Guardianships unless it has touched them or someone they know. This film has the opportunity to spark a national conversation and for that reason alone it must win.

Genevieve Bush lost her husband to a stroke in June 2004, what was to follow his death was nothing she could have ever prepared herself for, although she tried she has now become the victim of guardianship abuse.
In 2005 my mom removed the POA my brothers obtained in 2004 having both parents sign estate plans and wills they wrote and assigned themselves after my father’s stroke. Mom sued the brothers for return of monies they moved to themselves in 2007. The brothers disappearing out of our lives after winning the 2007 suit then returned at the end of 2009 filing a lawsuit on both mom and me to obtain guardianship over mom. The court used this petition in its own wish to mend a broken family by awarding guardianship to myself and back to the sons mom removed Through now over seven years of non stop court hearings during which the court in 2011 stripped my mom of all her rights she has now been taken from her home and held in a facility since May 18th without a hearing. The Department of Aging claimed due to conflicts arising in moms care, was in danger and had to be removed from her home.
Since being removed mom has been injured in the facility, she has been diminished, isolated and restricted from walking and even going outside. The Emergency involuntary commitment hearing has been scheduled for August 24th.. There are also other court hearings and filings surrounding this guardianship still active in others courts not yet finalized.

Al Katz survived the Holocaust in a Nazi prison camp. As a youth, he spent seven years in forced labor, nearly starved, and saw four Jewish boys shot through the head. Katz survived the Holocaust only to again experience the horrors of imprisonment and torture in the final year of his life. The Manatee County Public Guardian’s abuse of Katz reminded Katz of Nazi cruelty and sadism. For six weeks in 2009, Katz was kept in locked units and denied the companionship of his family and friends and decent medical care. Retreating into teenage memories, Katz believed he was once again a prisoner of the Nazis and subject to their torture. In just two months of guardianship, Katz was nearly dead.
Unlike many victims of Public Guardians, Katz escaped before he died. Katz’s daughter, Dr. Beverly Newman, fought Manatee County’s abuse of her father. With Katz nearly dead and his estate seriously depleted, the Public Guardian was replaced by a professional guardian of the property. Katz’s daughter took him home and cared for him day and night for the last eight months of his life.
Beverly Newman has a Doctor of Education and Child Psychology. She dedicated much of 2010 to caring for her father, after rescuing him from an abusive guardianship. Dr. Newman is now an active advocate for rights of guardianship victims. More
