Tonight is the pilot show for animal advocacy.  The inhumane treatment of companion animals, farm animals and wild animals has got to stop.  As human beings we are capable of and accountable for,  far more than what we are doing.  There is nothing human or humane about mistreating an animal and even less in knowing that it happens with such frequency and doing nothing about it.

Animal shelters are over capacity with abandoned and abused animals, many simply dumped in the street and abandoned, others rescued from horrendous neglect and abuse at the hands of their owners.  What kind of person does this to a vulnerable animal?

There are numerous groups and organizations devoted to protecting and saving these tortured creatures.  We will be discussing these groups, including online petitions and other activities aimed at rescue, protection and adoption services.

Please join us as we open the dialogue on the miserable state of affairs regarding all of our injured and abondoned animals.  We are their caretakers and protectors.  We need to do more!
