Puppy Mills are commercial dog breeding facilities that are operated with an emphasis upon profit above welfare. As a result, the dogs in these facilities are often kept in substandard conditions that threaten the health and well-being of dogs in their care. For years, these dogs are continually bred—without human companionship or hope of ever becoming part of a family.

The puppies are sold in pet stores or over the Internet. Because the dogs are bred irresponsibly, the puppies are prone to a variety of illnesses. Some families are forced to watch their new family member die within days or weeks of purchase.

Tonight we revisit Pennsylvania and the blatant abuse of the system of professional predator guardians.  While a bit of good news surfaced here recently, with the conviction of a Montgomery County, Pennsylvania lawyer who availed himself of thousands of dollars of his wards money, we still have many more stories to cover.

Coz will review the story of “Thomas”.  Shenanigans in Montgomery County, PA

We will also be talking with Jeffrey Hennel.  His mother is warehoused in a facility where she is allowed no visitation.  His mother desperately wants to see Jeffrey as he does her…..but apparently it is far more pleasurable for the “guardian” to keep them separated.  The sick pleasures some people enjoy!!

Advances are being made in dialysis which could vastly improve dialysis treatment for patients.  Join us this evening as we discuss alternatives to the current practices and issues surrounding dialysis treatments that could improve the quality of care and life for dialysis patients.

Abstract – Single-access Flexible Dual-lumen Vascular Access Device

“There are approximately 2 million worldwide, 700,000 US patients suffering from End Stage Renal Disease. The predominant treatment approach (~85% of ESRD patients is hemodialysis (HD) treatment from 3-4 times or more per week (compared to 10-15% use of PD). The current HD best practice uses two needles in two cannulation sites (one for withdrawing blood and one for returning treated blood) on the patient’s vascular access. The “best practice” outcome is often compromised by the following complications or limitations:

  • Patient pain, discomfort and bleeding from repeated multiple cannulation and forming pseudo-aneurism from cannulation at the same spot (common when there is limited space for two needles)
  • Long treatment times resulting from low blood flow rate between two needles
  • Only one adequate cannulation site in the fistula, requiring use of catheters which are more costly and more prone to infection.

This proposal addresses an improvement to current best practice that accomplishes significant patient quality of life and comfort, economic, and medical benefits. While other longer term solutions are under development, this proposed innovation can be quickly adopted to reap these patient, economic, and medical benefits”

Arlene Mullin — advocate, 20 years experience guiding patients and their families through all aspects of End Stage Renal Disease and treatments.  Mullin has served patients in a majority of states, engaging both Medicare and state health authorities towards resolution of quality care issues at clinics.  Comprehensive knowledge of care issues on clinic level.  She was instrumental in getting the hearings on aging before the U.S. Senate in 2000 where she testified on patient care issue within the dialysis industry.

Dialysis Advocates is grateful for the opportunity to get this important message out for all Dialysis Patients.

We will be having a guest on the first part of every show. Then we will open the Microphones for the Town Hall. Patients and others will be able to discuss concerns and solutions. It will be a patient group, including families.

In Australia…. an immediate gag order is placed on family members to prevent them from speaking out about the abuses conducted under the protection of Tribunal hearings.  To violate that order, will see the police kicking in your door, filing false charges against you only to have them drop the charges because they have no evidence of wrong doing. But defending yourself from false charges can cost thousands of dollars, your job and have major repercussions.

Sound familiar America??

Join us this evening as we welcome another member of   Australian Association to Stop Guardian & Administrative Abuse.

Louise joins us to tell the story of how her grand parents were stolen by one predatory social worker and how that same worker has numerous other families she has preyed upon in Queensland, Australia.  Gaming the system for profit, this worker targets, captures and monetizes elderly family members and immediately begins to avail herself of assets.  Queensland authorities are fully aware of the trafficking of the elderly, and cooperate fully in the threatening, harassment, and intimidation of family members who fight back.

Sadly, Queensland has the highest volume of elder abuse cases perpetrated by social workers, guardians and trustee’s.  Police retribution and abuse is shocking and continuing without being investigated.  This one particular social worker continues to sign over elderly  victims in the hospital with urgent interim Orders for Tribunal Hearings and the local police help cover up her activities.

Please consider joining our efforts at NJCDLP….the Law Project
