Today, the House of Representatives voted to declare a genocide occurred about 100 years ago.

“The Democratic-controlled House voted 405-11 in favor of a resolution asserting that it is U.S. policy to commemorate as genocide the killing of 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire from 1915 to 1923. The Ottoman Empire was centered in present-day Turkey.

The vote marked the first time in 35 years that such legislation was considered in the full House, underscoring widespread frustration in Congress with the Turkish government, from both Democrats and President Donald Trump’s fellow Republicans.”

Yes! By all means! Let’s poke another country with a big stick because they won’t do our bidding. What is it they have that some big corporation wants? Oil? Gold? What? Apparently the stage is being set for another war of aggression and this is the first prodding to incite that war. I am sure there will be a profuse amount of propaganda to follow this vote. Let me see. It goes something like this:

Their leader is a brutal dictator and we have to go and bring democracy to them.

He gassed his own people! Not that one? Ok….how about …

They have weapons of mass destruction!

Yeah! That one should do it.

Of course no one in DC will be going to war, nor their children nor any of their friends. No. Wars are to be fought by us commoners. And if our soldiers make it back home we will treat them like crap and act like nothing happened. And a whole bunch of people in a foreign country who have done nothing to us will be burying their dead and putting out fires.

Of all the pointless, useless, wasting of time this has to be near the top of the list. Maybe next we could commemorate the genocide of the Iraqi people in our war of aggression after 9/11. A country that had no part in those attacks. Last count I heard was 1.5 million dead and the birth deformities from our use of depleted uranium and other deadly crap has ratcheted that number up. Yes! Let’s do!

Oh! Oh! I know! Let’s commemorate the genocide of the Palestinians under Israeli occupation!! We don’t even have a head count on that one, but of course they’re still busy trying to wipe them out. We’ll just save that one for one of those days when there isn’t much to do in congress. You know, its not like things are going to hell here or anything.

While these elected fools waste precious time, the homelessness in this country is growing by the day.

The jobs promised to return as a result of those massive tax breaks for corporations have not materialized.

60% of college graduates cannot find work in the field they trained for because those jobs are being filled by foreign workers brought into the country under special work visa’s.

The opioid crisis is killing about 17,000 a month.

California is being intentionally set ablaze under the guise of training just before 80 mph winds are expected. (Gosh…wonder how that will turn out?)

The liquidity crisis on Wall Street that has resulted in the Fed offering $690 billion a week to 23 Wall Street securities firms and one foreign bank as well as a newly launched “don’t call it QE4” operation by the Fed to buy up $60 billion a month in Treasury bills from Wall Street dealers.

Thats 690 billion per WEEK of money borrowed in the name of taxpayers because although banks are “too big to fail”, we, the people, are expendable.

Our police departments have been militarized and many have become a threat to their communities, executing people at will and walking away free.

These and many more issues,too many to recount here, and all congress could think to do , all they felt was of national importance, was to declare that a genocide had occurred in a foreign country about 100 years ago just to piss off the government that is there now 100 years later.

Thank you congress! While we wonder if we will have a job next week, or how we are going to pay our rent, buy groceries or pay these extortion rates for crappy health insurance, thank you for wasting all of your time making this commemoration. Is it nap time now?

And while all this goes on the president spent his time tweeting out his usual brand of nonsense.

A disturbing aspect of an elder law and trusts and estates practice is the discovery of elder abuse. According to the National Institute on Aging, hundreds of thousands of adults over the age of 60 are abused, neglected, or financially exploited each year. Elder abuse includes physical, emotional, and sexual abuse in addition to neglect and abandonment. The perpetrators are often relatives or friends who have influence over the individual who may be vulnerable due to illness, disability, or age. Sometimes the abuse occurs at the hands of caregivers, whether in the home or in a facility.

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has introduced bipartisan legislation to help protect the elderly and infirmed by improving health care worker hiring practices in long-term care and medical facilities. Too often the elderly and infirmed are harmed as a result of the individuals working in the very facilities that are charged with helping rehabilitate them.

The Promote Responsible Oversight and Targeted Employee Background Check Transparency for Seniors Act, also known as “PROTECTS,” is an act that would expand access to the National Practitioner Data Bank for Medicare and Medicaid providers to conduct background checks on employees. Specifically, PROTECTS would include Medicaid/Medicare-certified skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospice programs, and pharmacies.

The Act has been endorsed by the American Health Care Association and the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. The aforesaid Data Bank would reveal malpractice for potential employees and assist facility administrators in their hiring and consequently affect the standards of care.

Yesterday, following the announcement of another 1/4 point interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell held a press conference at 2:30 p.m. It proved to be an embarrassing and shameful example of New York City-centric business journalism.

Seven business journalists from leading business news outlets that cover Wall Street asked questions in the first 23 minutes of the press conference. Not one of these reporters asked about the liquidity crisis on Wall Street that has resulted in the Fed offering $690 billion a week to 23 Wall Street securities firms and one foreign bank as well as a newly launched “don’t call it QE4” operation by the Fed to buy up $60 billion a month in Treasury bills from Wall Street dealers.

The Fed began its repo loan interventions on September 17 of this year for the first time since the financial crisis. That crisis grew into the worst economic collapse in the U.S. since the Great Depression. What the Fed is now doing has all the same earmarks as the actions it took in the early days of the last crisis. (See our ongoing series of articles on the Fed’s actions and the liquidity stresses on Wall Street.) Kordel is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania. He is currently a student at Rutgers University. In 2018 producers from Dateline NBC connected Kordel with the USDA and Coalition of Minority Employees. In May of 2018 Kordel wrote the paper “USDA Discrimination and the Effects on Food Systems and Food Security” under Dr. Xenia Morin at Rutgers University.

Kordel was one of the over seventy farmers, advocates, and researchers to sign their name to the letter to Elizabeth Warren. He has since created a video posted to YouTube regarding the letter entitled “USDA Discrimination, Elizabeth Warren, and The Future,” which has caught the attention of documentary creators and helped to spur new national interest in the Black farmers movement. Kordel wishes to continue to be a powerful voice for displaced farmers in the future.

Waymon Henderson is a Black farmer documentary, researcher & publisher. He has earned degrees in theology and psychology is licensed as a psychologist and marriage and family therapist in Texas. His history with the Black farmer cause extends back to 1994 when he began to consult with farmers and their legal counsel. He has been affiliated with the Black Farmers and Agriculturalists Association in Tillery, NC since 2005 and currently is a board member. He has two published articles in the area of Black farmers and land loss and has presented at international, national, state, and regional conferences on racism, the USDA, and Black land loss. His special area of interest is the impact on the health and well being of farmers and families when dealing with the USDA and DOJ. He and Shoun Hill partnered on the Black farmer documentary beginning in 2018 and will complete it in late 2019.

Throughout the relatively short history of modern healthcare, there have been continuous attempts to undermine the credibility of alternative healthcare professions. Very powerful organizations have carefully designed and implemented impressive strategies to make natural healthcare disciplines and their practitioners look like quacks and charlatans.

Professionals are routinely hired by undisclosed, secret entities to give false interviews, write defamatory books, construct disingenuous websites and participate in broad scale efforts that target healthcare consumers and help create, for them, false perceptions about natural healthcare practices.

The funding of these activities, although difficult to trace for the average person, obviously originate from petrochemical corporations. Due to a number of legal factors, it is often quite cumbersome to point fingers at specific business entities, as well as others that might be involved with the inner workings of such conspiratorial activities.

An Etowah County woman will end up returning more than $3.85 million to her mother’s estate as the result of a judge’s ruling.

The case, decided last month in Etowah County Circuit Court, dealt with the conservatory and custodial duties of a woman appointed co-conservator of her mother. Circuit Judge George Day Jr., ruled that the woman, who has not been charged with any crime, “breached her fiduciary duty to her mother’s Conservatorship estate, has failed to properly account for her actions and the funds and assets under her control, all of which has caused substantial damage” to the estate.

Additionally, the Court awarded a judgment against the daughter in relation to the custodial accounts for the incapacitated woman’s granddaughter, totaling $393,509.

Chris Hamer and Rebecca Wright of the Hamer Law Group represented the incapacitated woman’s conservator, an attorney who was appointed after the daughter resigned as conservator. The case has also generated a federal court action.

“This case represents the most egregious breach of fiduciary duties we’ve ever seen,” Hamer said in a statement. “Cases involving misappropriation and misuse of assets by family members appointed as fiduciaries are especially distressing for all involved.”

As a result of the decision, all money in the estate has been accounted for, attorneys said. According to court documents, the daughter of the incapacitated woman became conservator of her then-77-year-old mother in 2014. The woman, who died earlier this year, had 12 children.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Conservatives in Congress proudly announced Monday they have achieved their goal of conserving massive budget deficits.

“These progressives want to destroy our country by getting rid of all of our traditions,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “That’s why you need to vote for us conservatives—we make sure that our traditions are conserved, such as spending trillions of dollars we don’t have and expanding the size of the federal government every year.”

“American customs and traditions like an ever-expanding federal government must be protected,” said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. “The progressives go a little too fast for our liking. When you vote for a Republican, you can be assured that we will hold the deficit steady at around $1 trillion per year.”

Many people have been wondering just what it is conservative politicians are supposed to be conserving, and they’re glad to finally have an answer. Some supposed that conservatives just wanted to conserve social order as manifested in traditional marriage, religion, and morals, but since they’ve been losing that battle for years, many people weren’t sure anymore.

“It’s nice to know that when I check the box with the little R next to it, I’m making sure our values, like spending trillions our grandkids are going to have to pay back, are being preserved,” said Republican voter Lila Billings from Idaho. “I’m helping!”

“From President George W. Bush to the Obama years and now the Trump regime, we’ve followed through on our promising to ABC—Always Be Conserving,” said McCarthy. “Conserving a sprawling government, reckless spending, and taxes that would have led to a revolution just 50 years ago.”

I traveled to Billings, Montana today to stand in solidarity with landowners, Tribal Nations, and Water Protectors at a rally before the one and only public hearing being held by the U.S. State Department on the proposed Keystone XL pipeline.

Unfortunately, unlike the historic 2013 State Dept. hearing on KXL in Grand Island, Nebraska — where over 1,000 Pipeline Fighters turned out, and hundreds gave public testimony in front of their fellow neighbors and citizens for nearly 12 hours — the scene here in Montana is a sad excuse for a public hearing, where citizens must instead speak their concerns privately one-by-one into a tape recorder, or else write them out to submit on paper.

Despite this attempt to silence the voices of Pipeline Fighters with no true “public hearing,” it’s still crucial that we speak out.

The best way you can make your voice heard right now is to submit a written comment into the State Department’s new draft environmental review of the pipeline. Public comments are due by Nov. 18th.

JPMorgan Chase is the largest bank in the United States with $1.6 trillion in deposits from more than 5,000 retail bank branches spread across the country. When it withdraws liquidity from the U.S. financial system, that has a reverberating impact.

According to the filings that JPMorgan Chase makes annually with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), since 2013 JPMorgan Chase has spent $77 billion buying back its own stock. That includes the whopping $17.01 billion it has spent in just the first nine months of this year buying back its stock.

But here’s the shocking news. According to its SEC filings, JPMorgan Chase is partly using Federally insured deposits made by moms and pops across the country in its more than 5,000 branches to prop up its share price with buybacks. The wording in the filing is as follows:

“In 2019, cash provided resulted from higher deposits and securities loaned or sold under repurchase agreements, partially offset by net payments on long-term borrowing…cash was used for repurchases of common stock and cash dividends on common and preferred stock.”

Had JPMorgan Chase not spent $77 billion propping up its share price with stock buybacks, it would have $77 billion more in cash to loan to businesses and consumers – the actual job of its commercial bank. Add in the tens of billions of dollars that other mega banks on Wall Street have used to buy back their own stock and it’s clear why there is a liquidity crisis on Wall Street that is forcing the Federal Reserve to hurl hundreds of billions of dollars a week at the problem.

On September 17, the overnight lending rate on repurchase agreements (repos) spiked from the typical 2 percent range to 10 percent, meaning some very big lenders such as JPMorgan Chase were backing away from lending. That forced the Federal Reserve to jump in as lender of last resort, the first time it has done that in any material way since the financial crisis…

TAMPA, Fla. — Hospitals across the Florida are paying lawyers to go to court to take away patients’ rights, a three-month I-Team investigation uncovered.

I-Team Investigator Adam Walser found hospitals in Orlando, Miami, West Palm Beach, Naples and other Florida cities paying private attorneys to file hundreds of court petitions to put patients into guardianship.

An I-Team review of state court records found:

Tampa Bay area hospitals, including those owned by Baycare, AdventHealth and HCA, went to court to put more than 100 patients into guardianship since 2017 alone.
Tampa General Hospital filed five nearly identical court documents seeking guardianship for patients, describing each as having “disorganized thinking and poor cognition.” A hospital spokeswoman said TGH spent $28,000 on guardianship cases so far in just 2019.
An attorney for Florida Hospital Altamonte requested guardianship for a patient because her “Kia Soul that was almost paid off… may be repossessed.”

Tampa guardianship attorney Gerald Hemness questioned hospitals’ widespread use of guardianship.

Facing the glare of the elder-fraud spotlight, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost (left) is sending his top experts to address the problem in a Steubenville public forum.

Titled “Protecting the Unprotected” the forum will be held from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Towers Building, 500 Market Street, in the 2nd floor conference room.

Ohio has battled elder-fraud for years, and the state is again in the hot-seat due to a racketeering case brought by Dr. Mehdi Saghafi from Cleveland. A racket is a crime at both state and federal levels and can be spotted when the those billing to “fix” or “manage” a problem are the same people that caused the problem in the first place.

Dr. Saghafi’s claim is that his family was the victim of financial exploitation when his 80-year old wife was trapped in the legal maze of a court-ordered guardianship. The family claims that once “captured” in the court system, attorneys and accountants targeted the family’s assets and billed the family hundreds of thousands of dollars for the ”care” of his wife.

Just months before that racketeering suit was allowed to proceed, there was the FBI investigation of Ohio Judge Diane Vettori-Caraballo (shown left). The judge was indicted and pled guilty to charges stemming from her theft of over $100,000 from an estate for which she was the court-appointed administrator. Ohio is not alone in the fight against fraud. Weeks ago, Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel fired four of her state’s probate administrators after complaints that the attorneys had used their court-power to drain the assets of estates they controlled. Yost’s Steubenville event features nearly a dozen speakers including four with state-wide experience in elder-fraud investigation and prosecution: Sylvia Pla-Raith; Kevin Barbeau, CFE; Michael Kaizar, CPA CFE; Kelly Igoe, JD. The session offers residents of the region a place to meet and learn about the “red flags of fraud” from Ohio’s experts in elder financial fraud.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) calls fraud “theft by deceit,” and “theft with a smile and is prosecuted every day across the USA. But in cases where the “mark” or victim is an incapacitated and/or elderly person, the issues can expand from simple fraud into a RICO and civil rights cases.

“Many people don’t know that there are thousands of people in guardianships in Ohio,” says Rosanna Miller (shown right with her father, Clair) who is a member of the advocacy group “Ohio Coalition to End Probate Corruption” (OCEPC). The Ohio coalition is just one of nearly a dozen grass-roots groups across the United States who fight guardianship and elder financial abuse including NASGA, AAAPG and VGPR.

New federal elder-care legislation (U.S. H.R. 4174) details that there are approximately 1.3 million elderly adults in the United States who have their lives controlled in a guardianship. These vulnerable adults have amassed roughly 50 billion dollars in assets. These figures will get bigger with the aging of the “boomer” generation and the rise in life-expectancy.

The Steubenville forum is designed to help people learn how to spot and stop fraud from the best and brightest in the area of elder fraud prevention and prosecution. The speakers will detail the warning signs of elder financial exploitation and financial crimes and give attendees tools and strategies to assist victims of financial exploitation.

In addition to the state-level experts, there will be local Jefferson-County speakers as well, including Sheriff Fred J. Abdalla; Jefferson County Attorney Jane Hanlin; Marie Holt, Ericka Kirkpatrick and probate Judge Joseph Corabi. The forum is designed to give people in the community a local contact when they need expertise in the elder financial fraud area. Q&A sessions are expected, time permitting.

Its scary folks! Why I tell you, if things get any scarier I don’t know what I will do. Over the last few days my email has been rife with dire warnings of impending doom and chaos, the likes of which we have never seen before. And the 2020 elections are still more than a year away. Pay attention here, because these are all serious, serious threats to our so-called “democracy, our religious piety, and of course our very way of life”. Thats just for starters. Anyway, here’s what I have been warned about over the last several days.

According to Hillary Clinton, Tulsi Gabbard is being groomed by the Russians. I suppose Clinton would know, after all they groomed her to the tune of about 3 million in her Uranium 1 deal. And god only knows how much went into her foundation that no one even knows about.
Trump has claimed that if they do impeach him, he will become even more powerful than he is now. He went on to say that he will become so powerful they won’t believe it. We don’t know who the “they” is he is referring to…but nonetheless ..they won’t believe it. This statement was reportedly followed with a major temper tantrum that included holding his breath for more than two minutes while stomping his feet furiously.
Both major party’s have solicited funds from me. As I understand it, they can only beat their adversaries (which I am to view as my enemy) if I give them money. They cannot possibly win unless I personally send them as much as I can.
After falling badly behind schedule in driving the entire country into unrepayable debt, the Senate is ready to begin passing their spending bills. Of course, they have no intentions of spending their own money. No. They are making plans on how to spend YOUR money, and your children’s and grandchildren’s.
My email is loaded with dire warnings that the “commies” are coming….or is it the socialists? I can’t keep them straight. One such email had blazing headlines about how the Communist Party was supporting the Democrats. OMG!! Who even knew we had a communist party?? I am so scared now I think I peed a little!
OH! And lest I forget! The end is near! All the signs are there! And you know that if you don’t give your church of choice as much of your money as you can they cannot possibly fight back the devil who is after you personally. But they can’t beat him unless you give til it hurts.
Oh no! I just got an email reminding me that communism/socialism has failed in every country that has tried to implement it. That’s true. But have you ever noticed they never mention Italy and the hanging of Mussolini for implementing fascism ..,.. the corporate privatizing of everything, including the government, which devastated the Italian economy and its people? Fascism doesn’t work either, except for those at the top. Everyone else pays the bills. Sound familiar?
But just when things seemed to be on a downward spiral I got an email that informed me that beautiful Ukraine women were wanting to meet me!! And another promising to give me the secret to making women scream with pleasure all night long! Oh wait a minute….I have to send them money before I meet any of these women or learn these secrets!

Damn…..I already spent all my money fighting the Democrats, the Republicans, the socialists, the communists, the fascists and the devil!

Sandy Hook and the Murder of the First Amendment

Let me begin by saying I have no idea what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

However, since 9/11, I have questioned the veracity of many news reports and claims issued by officialdom about terrorism and mass shootings. The government and its media have been caught hundreds of times lying about or twisting news stories, so I believe skepticism is entirely warranted.

That said, I am now convinced the First Amendment is a dead letter. I have felt that way for some time. Recent events put a capstone on my previous arguments that much of the Bill of Rights is dead. This was recently underscored by the persecution of activist and author Jim Fetzer for writing a book that claims the massacre at Sandy Hook never happened.

On Thursday, Rolling Stone reported:

A Wisconsin jury has ruled that James Fetzer, a retired professor from the University of Minnesota Duluth, must pay [Leonard] Pozner $450,000 for accusing him of forging his son Noah’s death certificate. Fetzer is the coauthor of Nobody Died at Sandy Hook, which alleges that Pozner faked his son’s birth certificate and that the Obama administration staged the shooting in an effort to pass legislation on gun control.

The ruling and “award” granted to the plaintiff will undoubtedly drive Fetzer to financial ruin if it is not overturned on appeal—and I predict it will stand. This court case is a pivotal moment for those who work to eradicate free speech, a right granted to those who make controversial statements or write books some people find objectionable.

The right to speak guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution includes the right to voice opinions, criticize others, and comment on matters of public interest. It also protects the use of hyperbole and extreme statements when it is clear these are rhetorical ploys. Accordingly, you can safely state your opinion that others are inept, stupid, jerks, failures, etc. even though these statements might hurt the subject’s feelings or diminish their reputations. Such terms represent what is called “pure opinions” because they can’t be proven true or false. As a result, they cannot form the basis for a defamation claim.

The technology is coming, but contrary to what some people say, there could be health risks

The telecommunications industry and their experts have accused many scientists who have researched the effects of cell phone radiation of “fear mongering” over the advent of wireless technology’s 5G. Since much of our research is publicly-funded, we believe it is our ethical responsibility to inform the public about what the peer-reviewed scientific literature tells us about the health risks from wireless radiation.

The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently announced through a press release that the commission will soon reaffirm the radio frequency radiation (RFR) exposure limits that the FCC adopted in the late 1990s. These limits are based upon a behavioral change in rats exposed to microwave radiation and were designed to protect us from short-term heating risks due to RFR exposure.

Yet, since the FCC adopted these limits based largely on research from the 1980s, the preponderance of peer-reviewed research, more than 500 studies, have found harmful biologic or health effects from exposure to RFR at intensities too low to cause significant heating.

The Growing War Against Whistleblowers

Whistleblowers are not “leakers” as you claim Mr. Trump. They have not threatened national security nor revealed any government secrets that would jeopardize the public safety. And, they do it knowing full well that the full force of that agency will come down on them with every intention of destroying every last day of their lives. Whistleblowers are people with enough integrity, character and courage to speak up about all the wrong-doing that costs us all in one way or another. And in government, these are rare individuals. Have some respect, please.

We have a president who appears to be unable to differentiate between whistleblowers who expose massive mismanagement, dysfunction and abuse of federal agency positions which cost the American taxpayers billions, as opposed to those who “leak” national security secrets that expose the ugly underbelly of a government that is obviously terrified, and which despises its own population.

As a career businessman, it would seem far more likely that you, Mr. Trump, would have an appreciation for those who expose the gross mismanagement of federal agencies that affect the bottom line for all of us, including you. Instead, as the President it appears that you are agitated and determined to lump these people in with those who have exposed so-called national security secrets. Consistently referring to whistleblowers as “leakers”, you constantly put one in mind of the spoiled, privileged child. Temper tantrum to follow.

Note to President Trump: Whistleblowers who expose the mismanagement and waste and abuses occurring across all federal agencies have exposed no national security secrets. They are not leakers as you claim. They are doing their jobs with more integrity and character than the majority of individuals who have secured a cushy federal position and who have proceeded to abuse that position. I would think you, as a businessman, would appreciate more than most the financial impact of allowing these kinds of activities to continue. Or, are you wanting us to believe that exposing the abuses of public trust has some unknown tie to keeping us all safe? From what?

But then again, what do these abusers have to worry about? All their legal fees are paid by taxpayers. When the evidence is so massive that there is no denying the charges against them are valid, they are allowed to resign their position in order to retain all their federal benefits.

But what happens to that whistleblower who stepped forward and did the right thing?

I think anyone who follows me even somewhat regularly knows that I’m a Christian. I know that’s not always a popular thing to be as a liberal, but it’s a fact nonetheless. That being said, I detest organized religion.

What “religion” is to me is a human-made concoction meant to promote the personal views of some while degrading the views of others.

Honestly the only reason I call myself a “Christian” is because it’s easier than saying, “I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values for which he stood. That being said, I oppose most things that have been written in the Bible as it is clear that much of the text has been influenced by the personal views of those in charge of translating the text through time.”

I’ve talked “religion” with Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Atheists (yes I consider Atheism a form of religion) and it’s amazing how personally we’re all pretty much the same. Our core values as human beings are basically identical. Things like being a good person, helping the helpless and defending the defenseless. Generally just being good people.

And isn’t that what life is about? Isn’t that what we should all strive to be as humans?

Why is it so many care so much about the personal religious views of others? If everyone kept their beliefs private (as they should be), practiced them in the appropriate places and didn’t judge others who believed differently – can you imagine how much more peaceful the world would be? More

Phillip is facing a crisis with his health. A massive tumor on his kidney and liver. He is scheduled for surgery on the 24th at Riverbend hospital in Springfield, Oregon. Strangely, the hospital plans to send him home two days after surgery in an ambulance. Turns out, Phillip has to pay for that ride out of his own pocket. He needs our support an needs to know we are out here cheering him on and hoping for the best possible outcome.

Trump administration calls wild horses biggest threat to public lands — here are the real threats

“The livestock industry continues to run roughshod over the vast majority of our Western public lands, causing a cascade of major environmental problems.”

Acting BLM Director William Perry Pendley told the Society of Environmental Journalists in Colorado on Friday that wild horses were the biggest problem facing federal public lands in the West.

The silliness of this statement becomes obvious when one considers that wild horses don’t exist on more than 85 percent of BLM lands, and where they do occur, they have to share the range with domestic livestock which typically have an even bigger impact on the land.

Pendley’s misstatement would be funny if it weren’t so dishonest and is symptomatic of major problems stemming from placing one of the nation’s most vitriolic opponents of environmental conservation in charge of our biggest land management agency.

Let’s examine some of the real problems facing the Bureau of Land Management, from the standpoint of an environmental professional, to put Pendley’s claims in some context.

I have watched the rolling battle between those on the so-called left, and those on the so-called right. I have also observed the efforts by those on either side of this fictional divide that is observed only out here in the public for what appears to be the amusement of those elected officials who see us as nothing more than a nuisance. But one thing is glaringly apparent to me; those in government are doing everything they can to incite a civil revolt. Our military is being stationed all around the country, along with tanks and other military war weapons. Who do you think those are intended for use on? Think about it!

The question many people are asking is: “Do you think our military would actually turn on us?”

Well….the majority of our law enforcement agencies who have been militarized sure have in many instances. What do you think?

Do you really believe there is any intent to impeach Trump? I don’t. Now then, it is possible that having pushed this bogus issue this far, they may be forced to actually proceed. But believe me there is no intention to take this emotionally immature, unstable and tactless man out of office. He is serving the purposes of too many people who have carefully cultivated his support having managed to not incur one of his temper tantrums. We have a president who spends his time tweeting while the country falls apart.

This is a dog and pony show put on to make sure this right v left thing continues. It is imperative that you view each other as an enemy to be defeated. If you don’t….well then, things might actually change. You might actually start paying attention to the fact that all the major banks are failing thanks to deregulation that allowed them to openly operate as criminal enterprises. The Fed is loaning them millions per day to keep them afloat. They are too big to fail, but you, the public, can lose your jobs, your homes, and anything else you might have but you dare not ask for help! Thats socialism! Thats communism! But fascism is destroying our country as you whine hysterically about these phantom ideologies that have been used for decades to con the public into accepting the unacceptable.

I believe everything will be done before the 2020 election to either prevent the election from taking place, or to stop it in its tracks midway. If the public doesn’t revolt on its own, I have no doubt something or someone will be used to incite riots as the catalyst to be used as the excuse to stop the election. The Antifa crowd (actually Anti Fascism in its origins) will kick things into high gear to make sure that civil unrest and possible revolt take place. Everyone has their part to play and the Antifa crowd as it exists today is rife with violent and low IQ individuals who seem not to be aware that they are simply fools to be used. The politicians in DC must be enjoying the hell out of this.

The hysteria across social platforms screeching about the socialists or the “commies” supposedly having taken over, or who are waiting in the wings to destroy us, are the fantasies of those who know nothing about what is actually taking place; just how far from freedom and security we really are. All of this coming from people who apparently have not got a clue that we are a fully fascist country. Socialism and communism stand not a chance in the face of powerful corporations who control everything, including every aspect of our lives.

Screw your MAGA hats and ideologies….lets make America FREE again! Greatness will follow all on its own.

You may have already heard, but TransCanada just filed new eminent domain claims in court against 90 Nebraska family farmers and ranchers — including my family — who refuse to give up our land for this foreign corporation’s Keystone XL tarsands export pipeline. [1]

TransCanada has been bullying my family and other Nebraska landowners for the past ten years, seeking land that’s been in our families for generations for a pipeline that threatens our farms, our water, and our climate. Now this foreign corporation has filed a lawsuit against my family, and dozens of other farming and ranching families, and intends to abuse eminent domain to take our land for KXL against our wishes.

We have less than a month from today to respond in court, and oppose TransCanada’s eminent domain lawsuits. We need your support in this moment more than ever before.

If you think the infestation of neocons within the Trump administration is worrisome, just wait until the president is impeached and Mike Pence takes the throne.

Pence is a born-again Christian Zionist. While Trump may indeed be muddleheaded, Pence is not. If the Stable and Wise Genius is deposed, Pence will open the floodgates and in will rush the neocons. It will be completely retro—harking back to the days of Bush the Lesser and his cabal of Israel-first neocons.

Democrats don’t like Pence—he’s a “conservative” Republican—but as far as they’re concerned, a short-term (until the election) neocon as president is preferable to leaving Trump in the White House.

Here’s what they’re missing—as soon as Trump gets on the helicopter and does a Nixonian farewell wave to his staff, the neocons will be taking up positions in the Pence administration and will work to wrap up the Zionist agenda in the Middle East, viz; unfinished business in Syria, Lebanon, and especially Iran.

Of course, establishment Democrats are not concerned about this prospect—they also believe in Israel’s wars fought at the expense of American blood and treasure. Democrats are simply more sneaky on foreign affairs and habitually disguise their warmongering psychopathy with insincere platitudes about democracy and humanitarianism.

Mike Pence will undoubtedly confront Iran militarily in the Persian Gulf. If Israel attacks Gaza or moves troops into Lebanon again, Pence will provide support and US troops. He told soldiers after Trump was elected they can expect to eventually be fed into a war, either in the Middle East, North Korea, and possibly the Western Hemisphere (that is, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua).

If Pence moves to suck the US into a war Trump fears—for the sake of his legacy, not to spare the lives of Syrians and Iranians—the ensuing catastrophe will end up in the lap of whatever Democrat is elected next year, be that Elizabeth Warren or the predicted party crasher, Hillary Clinton.

It was another truly joyous day in the classroom when I was teaching 6th graders. I had been part of the teacher’s credential program which was aligned with the university system that oversaw student teaching standards in California. All seemed to be well until the Master teacher of the classroom decided that I wasn’t adapting quite well enough to her classic B.F. Skinner, “behavior mod” system meant for the children. The University Education Department, a fly by night, Marxist regime, climbed aboard the Master teacher’s cause and removed me from the classroom. Thus, was the end of my dream to be an elementary school teacher, even though I went through an arbitration process to resolve it.

Certain states in America are not looking for teachers who are more out of the box. They are looking for teachers who agree and promote a tailored agenda which is biased, emotionless, insensitive, heartless and, regimented. Yet, this is just one issue that adds to America’s failing school system.

Textbooks are loaded with political correctness and fake theories, much like the mainstream news and this indoctrination remains part of the curriculum, coming from an out of control government that exceeds the desires of “we the people”, all the while, subverting the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.The American people are just not involved in approving textbooks for the schools at the state level.

And the people in Red China are also in the same boat. America, you are being steam rolled by your own state governments and policies such as California’s FAIR Education Act–also referred to as the SB 48, LGBT History Bill.

The “social justice” movement is just one big can of worms that is part of indoctrinating innocent children at an early age. This agenda also pits certain groups against whites and other races as well. Sure, we know “black lives matter” but so do Native Americans matter, and even the Germans, Italians, Chinese, Jews and the Japanese, yet, textbooks and teachers are now sadly polarizing the races and taking other issues beyond the stars, while taxpayers are paying for all of it, including retirements!

The LBGT movement does not belong in a school textbook nor in a lecture, and publishers will give any school what they want in order to sell thousands of copies of their books. This is part of the reason why the school system is in such dire straits. And those persons who are providing this type of curriculum at the state levels, care not for families and America’s traditional culture which is being destroyed in the process. Schools are supposed to be for learning valuable lessons that can be carried on though adulthood to where a person will be able to navigate through their own society, freely, comfortably, securely, economically, and finally build strong families. Yet, our school system is not providing a secure foundation that will enable our children and those adults in higher education to actually find their way because, traditional core values that are essential in making important choices
are disappearing at light speed.

Waste, fraud, and abuse are so rampant that the government has a Medicare Strike Force to root out and recover lost federal funds. Medicare fraud—about $60 billion in 2016 alone—is about 10 percent of Medicare’s total payments.
One amoral scheme recruits patients who unknowingly forgo curative treatment options by joining hospice.
In 2016 the government paid $160.8 million for drugs that hospice organizations should have paid for from its fixed daily fee. Our tax dollars paid for the drugs twice.
One typical victory is a Medicare patient whose neurologist prescribed a drug for his Parkinson’s disease symptoms. The government demanded testing that could not be done because of the patients debilitated condition. Despite a sympathetic ear and supporting research, the government arbiter could only parrot the party line: because the drug was not on the “list,” it was not covered by Medicare. In a fortunate twist of fate, with a Good Rx coupon the patient paid $34 per month cash instead of the drug’s $1,100 per month price with 20 percent patient co-pay that would have been charged through the Medicare Prescription Drug program.

The high cost of medical care is on the lips of every politician and draining the pocketbooks of most Americans. Anonymity, complexity, and opacity invite shady behavior. Individuals, companies, and patients who defraud the massive federal “health system” would never dream of lifting money from their patients’ wallets or stealing from their doctors’ cash drawer.

The government’s track record does not bode well for imposing more bureaucracy to remedy a problem created by the layers of third-party payer bureaucracy. Waste, fraud, and abuse are so rampant that the government has a Medicare Strike Force to root out and recover lost federal funds. Medicare fraud—about $60 billion in 2016 alone—is about 10 percent of Medicare’s total payments. By contrast the typical private business loses 5 percent of its revenues to fraud. Unfortunately, since its inception in March 2007, the Medicare Strike Force has recouped less than $2 billion per year in misappropriated funds. More
