Mayor Jackson, under the microscope
“Tanya Talks- Where your voice is heard- and your story is told” will be aired Sunday evening, September 15th on“Marti Oakley’s TS Radio Network” and also live broadcast on Stephen Burke’s 89.9 KLRB FM at: 5 pm pacific, 5 pm pacific, 6 pm mountain, 7 pm central and 8 eastern time.
Mayor Jackson has been DECLINED his invitation to the show albeit there has been correspondence. “Tanya Talks” has requested statements as well, defenses of allegations and the rotating door of employees. on the show to discuss the matters discussed on this initial series. We will discuss the correspondence and swiftly move to the viable information that can or cannot lead to the people ultimate overturning his position as “Mayor”.
– Are promises being kept, or proactively in progress?
-How’s the electric bill?- The water?
– Do you feel the Wetumka is in a better place since Mayor Jackson was elected? Why/Why not
-Did your current Mayor represent himself accurately while campaigning?
-What promises are being fulfilled and what are not?
-What do you feel or know is unethical, non-transparent, questionable- if anything.
A rebuttal by Mayor Jackson to an article in The Hughes County Tribune has been forwarded to “Tanya Talks”. We’ll talk about the significance and your response to his.
There must be more than a dislike for “JJ” to be removed. Information is being forwarded and let’s not let it subside. Who is willing to document what they know under the pain and penalty of perjury? Sign a petition? Contact your representatives IN WRITING and keep a copy so we know just how many have let their concerns be known.
A request has been made late on Friday for the status of a voter fraud investigation. A response is pending.

First let me say thank you for taking the time in bringing to light what appears to be politics at its worse in the small town of Wetumka OKLAHOMA.
A good friend of mine lives there and he has been sharing some of the corruption going on since James Jackson and the council members have taken office.
It is truly a shame the people of the town are having to experience this for sure sure.
I have watched the last few council meetings and it is quite obvious the Mayor is on a power trip with the assistance of his fellow council members.
The Mayor in no way wants to partner with the long standing committee of Sucker Day but wants to see how the city itself can make a few bucks on permit fees.
If he was any kind of peoples Mayor he would have authored an agenda item to waive the permit fees and another agenda item to rent the port a potties and authorized overtime to allow for more law presence. He could without a doubt declare the event public purpose and helped the community out and businesses.
It is disappointing to see an elected official like him in a leadership role. BUT, there are others that should share the blame as well. There are 4 other council members that could vote and take control away from him. Now I know one of the members is his wife and she is always the first to make a motion on everything and I find that very wrong, not illegal but for perception sake just wrong.
The City Manager needs to take blame on this mess too.
The city Manager needs to stand up and take charge of the Town. The City Manager needs to kick the Mayor out of city hall and order him not to come back until the next council meeting. I have seen this done! The City Manager would be in his right to do so for sure because it’s his City Hall to run, not the Mayors!
The only way the peoples town can be restored is Recall all 5 council members at the same time on individual petitions, elect 5 new folks and let the replacement hire a new city manager and city attorney with some experience and fortitude.
