Action alert to save Washington state wolves. WA basically killing wolves for one rancher

A message from Brooks Fahy, Exec. Dir. of Predator Defense:

Tell Washington Gov. Inslee there is no need for his wolf slaughter.  There are simply places in Washington where cows should not be.

The picture above was taken in the core territory of the Profanity Peak wolf pack, which Washington wildlife managers destroyed in 2016 after a rancher dumped his cows to graze near the wolves’ den and rendezvous sites. As you can see, the terrain is essentially indefensible. It is rugged, forested and remote. It is no place for cows.

Seventeen of the 22 wolves killed to date in Washington State were killed on behalf of this one rancher, Len McIrvin, who refuses to follow science-based, common sense measures to protect his cattle. Other ranchers have had great success in preventing losses. For starters, they are not dumping them in the heart of wolf territory.

But McIrvin, who has been overheard expressing his hatred for wolves, apparently doesn’t believe they deserve a place to live in peace, except perhaps in zoos? He does believe his cattle should be able to graze on and destroy our public lands, lands for which he pays a fraction of market rate. And he obviously doesn’t care about healthy ecosystems, which require the presence of wolves, or the fact that thousands of people want to be able to see wolves in the wild and could bring tourism dollars to struggling rural economies.

U.S: Hormone-Disrupting Weed Killer Taints Tap Water for Millions in Corn Belt

Environmental Working Group (EWG) | November 14, 2018

WASHINGTON – Seasonal spikes of atrazine – a weed killer that can disrupt hormones and harm developing fetuses – contaminate drinking water in corn-growing areas of the Midwest and beyond, according to an analysis of federal records by the Environmental Working Group.

Environmental Protection Agency data show that in some Corn Belt communities, atrazine levels can spike three to seven times above the legal limit in late spring and early summer. But by avoiding water testing during peak periods, some water utilities stay in compliance with drinking water regulations – and don’t have to tell customers they were exposed to a hazardous chemical in their tap water.

“Our investigation found that nearly 30 million Americans have atrazine in their tap water,” said Olga Naidenko, Ph.D., EWG senior science advisor for children’s environmental health. “But many may never know, because outdated federal policies allow utilities to test for atrazine before or after the spike.”  READ MORE HERE

Weather management using space-based power system

Abstract
Space-based power system and method of altering weather using space-born energy. The space-based power system maintains proper positioning and alignment of system components without using connecting structures. Power system elements are launched into orbit, and the free-floating power system elements are maintained in proper relative alignment, e.g., position, orientation, and shape, using a control system. Energy from the space-based power system is applied to a weather element, such as a hurricane, and alters the weather element to weaken or dissipate the weather element. The weather element can be altered by changing a temperature of a section of a weather element, such as the eye of a hurricane, changing airflows, or changing a path of the weather element.

FIELD OF INVENTION

  • [0002]
The present invention relates to space-based power systems and, more particularly, to altering weather elements, such as hurricanes or forming hurricanes, using energy generated by a space-based power system.

Woosley Fire Potentially Started At Site Of Nuclear Meltdown, May Contain Radioactive Contamination

A Los Angeles journalist’s photographs are providing evidence of how the destructive Woosley wildfire could be spreading toxic and deadly contamination.

KCAL9’s Stu Mundel’s photos show the fire beginning in the proximity of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory, or SSFL. The consequences attached to such a realization are disastrous for the surrounding communities which have long fought the laboratory’s alleged contamination issue.

Here’s the breakdown. It all makes sense if you follow along.

Southern California Edison reported a disturbance the Chatsworth substation, which is located on SSFL property, a mere two minutes prior to a fire erupting. In 1959, a Sodium Reactor Experiment reactor partially melted down in the same location. KCAL9’s Stu Mundel posted pictures of the incident here: READ MORE HERE

California Gov. Signs Bill Forcing Residents To Pay Wildfire Litigation Damages

California officials have now confirmed that 59 people have died as a result of the devastating Southern California Woosley fire. Officials say the Northern California Camp Fire has now destroyed at least 9,000 homes and forced 52,000 residents to evacuate.

As bad as this is, for Californians, things are going to get worse following a deceptive move by its governor, Jerry Brown.

Camp Fire Potentially Started By Pacific Gas and Electric Company

California’s resources are not only battling several major destructive fires, but they are also intensely investigating potential causes.

Yesterday, I wrote up an article on potential cause of the Woosely fire, which California denies. Wildfire blame in California can mean billions in litigation. The state doesn’t want to get it wrong, or misplace blame, or even, honestly apply blame. It’s a mess.
