The Bible states that in the “last days” before the return of Jesus Christ, and his second coming, the world would have degenerated to a point of being just as it was in the days of Noah. At that time God gathered his chosen few which was Noah and his extended family
members and saved them from the flood in the Ark that Noah had built. As the Bible shares, God was extremely sorry that he had made Man and he was ready to destroy the whole earth. But then He found one man, Noah who had been faithful and who had found favor with God.
But what exactly could have been God’s reasoning with so much disfavor with those other people at that time? Seriously, it wouldn’t take a special investigator to figure this one out. All we must do is look at our own degenerate world around us today to see what must have transpired way back then. The people just didn’t honor God and they had fallen into rebellion.
Comparatively, as in Noah’s day, the world today is at odds with their Maker to where their actions speak for themselves. A hedonistic and a dark lifestyle along with criminal activities, the love of money and major corruption, is likened to Noah’s day and mirrors what is now happening in America but also the rest of the world.
So, if we already have been shown historically how great God’s displeasure was with those ancient people in Noah’s time, should not America and the rest of the world have fear and turn to God in this last hour and seek His will since the Second Coming appears to be eminent? Yes, there is an urgency as Jesus told me he is coming soon!
While leaders and nations and the general public seek to find answers in the socio-political-economic sphere, there is a major event on the horizon that everyone, rich or poor, should be preparing for! And a person may ask me how do I know this? I will tell you the truth. God told me. And besides this, it is also written in the Good Book, yet better known as the Holy Bible that actually prophecies this major event which is nearly upon us. However, it is a thousand times greater than the flood which covered the entire earth.
“People get ready there’s a train a commin’. You don’t need no ticket, you just get on board!” Yes, sir, this is the marvelous return of Jesus Christ paraphrased!
Matthew 24:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them
all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
