“American immigration policy is an amalgam of moral rot. Jailing two border patrol agents a dozen years for shooting a drug smuggler in the fanny tells us this government has forfeited its right to preach to anyone.”

When congress passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, promising to impose a $1,000 fine on anyone giving employment to an undocumented alien, we scolded them for lying to the American people. We said the federal government had no intention of enforcing immigration law and the proof of it was the millions of illegal aliens being granted amnesty.

We said their goal was to perpetuate the lie, not end it. We said at the time, “The next wave of 15 million illegal aliens will be granted amnesty too — and so on and so on and so on. And when they finally have the votes to take over this country, they can deport us.” We said their blood oath pledge to God Almighty to seal our borders forever “was a lie before it was evenscrewed-man-cartoon-screwed2_01-1500000-300w uttered.” They sing-song that like the lyrics to “Happy Birthday.”

As we warn constantly: never, never, never believe your government!   This border security charade has been going on for over 40 years.

One classic case surfaced when Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts. For months he negotiated with Immigration and Customs Enforcement for permission to allow his state troopers to arrest illegal immigrants. It was like pulling teeth, but the feds got shamed into it and finally had to feign an interest in law enforcement.

Massachusetts put 30 state troopers through five weeks of training in immigration law, even though offenders could not be detained without the approval of an ICE office in Vermont. So obviously nobody got detained.

As a prospective candidate for president, Romney was crucified for hiring a landscaping firm to mow his lawn in Belmont. Then it was learned the illegal workers had snowed their employer with forged documentation.

The lawbreakers and their coaches win every time.

Judge Kimba Wood couldn’t qualify for Attorney General because she had hired an undocumented maid. Mike Huffington’s $40 million campaign to knock Dianne Feinstein out of the Senate failed because his wife, Arianna, had employed an undocumented nanny for five years.

Selective enforcement is a question of whose ox is being gored.

The governing horde has now given us a case that redefines the word hypocrisy and shows the performers to be the pathetic knaves they are.

The Democratic National Committee has hired Cindy Nava to work on the party’s political message for the 2016 campaign season. Cindy was living in New Mexico, but she is a transplant from Chihuahua, Mexico. She is one of 11 million aliens living in America without documentation. She was brought here as a child, turned activist, and campaigned for Barack Obama in 2012.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, who chairs the DNC, says, “We are extremely proud to have Cindy on our team at the DNC. Her story is an inspiration for all of us about what immigrant youth can achieve despite their undocumented status.” Well, sure, with friends like Barack and Debbie.

How much do you suppose Debbie will be fined for hiring Cindy? And what might her Republican counterpart be fined for hiring an illegal alien?

It is a violation of federal law for anyone to hire Cindy Nava. But for the head of the Democratic Party to put her on parade as a trophy — especially after the blistering treatment inflicted on Mitt Romney and Kimba Wood — is just too reprehensible to warrant forgiveness.

Sadly for Cindy, we need to pour even more salt into the wound.

It is not only illegal for anyone to employ an undocumented alien, but also it is doubly illegal for any non-citizen to participate in election related activities anywhere in the United States. Foreigners are forbidden by law to participate in the decision-making process involving a political action committee, campaign, convention, election or political fund-raiser.

The attitude of this administration and the Democratic Party comes from that old adage that the safest place to hide a leaf is in a tree. If we’re going to hire somebody we’re not allowed to hire, we might as well assign her a task she is forbidden to perform. Make it a two-fer.

It is the height of insolence for the Democratic Party and its White House thugs to take a bow for their criminal behavior. Yet that is their legacy. Is there no sense of shame about seizing credit for the breakdown of law in a country that used to preach that justice is blind?

American immigration policy is an amalgam of moral rot. Jailing two border patrol agents a dozen years for shooting a drug smuggler in the fanny tells us this government has forfeited its right to preach to anyone.
