S.1867: Just another brick in the police state wall

I am sometimes baffled by how quickly many people quickly assume that because they were not personally named in some piece of legislation, that somehow the provisions of that legislation do not and could not apply to them. Having spent a great deal of time over the years dissecting legislative language, backtracking changes to code & title and the ever popular “redefinition of terms” used to change the entire common understanding of what a word or phrase means within these tortured constructs called legislation, I know better.

My recent article on S.1867  elicited comments to the effect that a few commenters had read the bill and that I was simply being inflammatory and emotional.  Yes…..of course….that must be it.

Lest anyone forget:

Each of these unconstitutional bills was a piece of the puzzle being constructed incrementally as the Constitution and our rights were being trashed.

These anti-American laws were not the only affront to the Constitution, our rights and the advancement of the police state.  Now why, you might be asking, would anyone want to give the president of the United States the arbitrary authority to strip any US citizen of their citizenship with no evidence other than his/her belief that one of us is a terrorist, or supports terrorism, without the evidence supporting that contention, or being officially charged with a crime?  Hmmm.  Where to start on this one. S.1867: The hunting of America expands

______________________________________________

Many of us have wondered if directed to; would our own military turn on us?  It appears that this is the plan and has been all along, yet the question remains……would they actually do it if ordered to?

S.1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill.  Senators Carl Levin (D) MI and John McCain (R) AZ, are bringing this bill to the Senate floor on

S.1867 The end of Liberty

Monday after having held secret committee meetings while never holding even one hearing on this bill which authorizes military action against US citizens, right here in the United States.

While the bill appears on the surface to be about authorizing defense funding for the illegal wars, the ongoing unwarranted surveillance of the US population and the continuing violations of the 4th Amendment as applied to US citizens, many of the provisions of the bill do not pertain to unidentifiable terrorists or any other villain carefully crafted to terrorize the country.  The fact is, as a result of the false flag attacks on 9/11, we have massive numbers of police state “laws” on the books which created “terrorists” or redefined “terrorist activity” to include everything from political dissent and free speech,  even including targeting of  US citizens for mentioning or referencing the Constitution or supporting third party, non-approved candidates for public office.

When this bill passes with these police state provisions included  (I believe it will) you can expect your senator who voted “yes” on the bill to maintain that they only did so because otherwise the funding for the wars would have ceased (we could only hope) and they have to continue to fight the terrorists, terrorism, or what ever lame excuse pops into their heads to explain why they voted to pass what is clearly a police state bill.

The bill itself was drafted in secret and I believe it would be to our benefit to know who actually drafted that bill.   More

Gingrich and Coulter ruined my Thanksgiving

It was bound to happen.  A gathering of family for a holiday feast and hours of good natured banter and conservation turned deadly ugly about halfway through the first round of turkey, stuffing, home-made breads and assorted delicious offerings prepared especially, just for this day.  I had just bitten into a juicy turkey leg when someone asked the most disgusting question…”Did you see Newt Gingrich is probably going to win the primary in Iowa?”.  I choked.  The piece of turkey I had bitten off lodged itself in my throat. I was speechless…..mostly because my windpipe was seriously compromised.

Noting my inability to respond, my relative (who is now banned from any further attendance at my home during the holidays, in perpetuity,) continued on as if she had not noticed that I was turning various shades of blue and took the opportunity to quote some inane, baseless comment from one of Ann Coulter’s articles.   It was too much.  My meal was ruined, my holiday in shambles, my love for family gatherings dissipating precipitously. Gingrich and Coulter?  The food now all seemed to have been contaminated and rendered unfit. Gingrich and Coulter?  At my table on Thanksgiving?  Nooooo!!!  More

The fleecing of America: The United States Covered Bond Act of 2011

Occasionally, amid the mountains of mindless legislation produced by those fools in congress, one or two really stellar examples of “what the hell were you thinking?” surfaces and leaves us wanting to bang our heads against the wall repeatedly out of frustration at the sheer stupidity of what is offered as necessary legislation.  Never has this been quite as extraordinary as it is in the Covered Bond Act of 2011, a bill that is intended to avoid the hassle and exposure of public debate over bailing out the criminals while leaving the country twisting in the wind.  Of course this will be supported by the full faith and credit (me & you) of the United States.

Avery Goodman at www.seekingalpha.com makes this observation:

“So long as the Federal Reserve exists and/or other financial regulatory agencies continue to be run by a revolving door staff that moves in and out of industry and government, crony capitalism will be alive and well in America. No amount of Dodd-Frank or Volcker rule legislation will ever protect savers, taxpayers or the American people. Profits will continue to be privatized and losses socialized.”

This bill will just confirm the practice of privatizing profits while nationalizing the losses, as a legal response to criminal activity.

From the folks over at Patrick.net:

“The United States Covered Bond Act of 2011 is designed to allow bundling of any kind of debt including derivatives, into marketable securities guaranteed at full face value by the FDIC.”

Derivatives?  Weren’t those instruments the same ones that caused the near collapse of the system?  So what are they, exactly? More

Ron Paul leads the GOP pack….but for some reason Newty Gingrich is said to be on top

John Boering / PPJ Contributor

For those of us who voluntarily expose ourselves to the news that isn’t news on Lame Street Media, this morning was a real waker-upper.  We have all come to expect sports games being treated as if they were of national importance; after all why wouldn’t we?  It’s not like we have illegal wars being conducted on numerous fronts, or the corruption on Wall Street and in the overall banking system isn’t killing us economically.

The interlacing of sports news, celebrity mis-haps and other nonsense that is irrelevant considering the current sad state of affairs of our country goes, eats up a huge portion of valuable time that isn’t consumed by the incessant commercials for crap you aren’t likely to buy anyway.

Sports and celebrity news seems to consume large blocks of time while relevant news (what little is offered) gets a few sound bites and we can suddenly find ourselves listening to a story about a man who saw Jesus’ face in cheeseburger that he is selling on Ebay.  My yes….that would be important and so earthshaking.

I watch at least one of these corporate/government shills for the powers that be every morning just to note what they ARE NOT reporting that might have been of real interest and useful to the average viewer.  And then it happened……………

I was sipping  my coffee, kind of zoning out as the CNN (and several other cable networks) broadcaster smiled and talked about football as if it really mattered to any of us out here who are observing the slow wrenching demise of our economy, the on-going and growing corruption of the government, and suddenly Newty Gingrich appeared on my screen.  The cream in my coffee curdled, and I mentally recoiled as if a huge snake had appeared before me.  In essence it had.  More

I refuse to vote in another phony election

I am not voting in the next presidential election. And, I don’t want to hear how if I don’t vote I have no right to complain about how things are or what some political puppet is doing that is unconstitutional, unlawful or just plain stupid.  Yes, I do have the right to complain: just as I have a right to refrain from contributing to this national charade we call “voting”.

I refuse to allow people to claim that I have only myself to blame if Evil-doer #1 (R) got elected and they think that I voted for the bum, and now he is breaking every campaign promise and doing exactly the opposite of what he said he would do, and now this is somehow my fault….my personal failing…..because the guy turns out to be a jerk. I voted for him (supposedly) so I have only myself to blame if I don’t’ like the way things are. I refuse to vote.  I can’t win.  We can’t win.

I don’t want to hear how our fore-fathers died in countless wars of aggression so that I could have the right to vote.  That’s not what they died for.  Voting was never what they died for unless voting has [.Inc] after it. (I guess it does)

I refuse to be made complicit in selecting the next New World Order flunky.  Not that my vote would count; our votes are not counted.  Diebold, Sequoia and other electronic voting machine manufacturers have seen to it that no matter how we, the public, fill out those ballots the machines magically produce the candidate selected for us prior to the election.  Electronic voting machine manufacturers were well paid for their uncompromising commitment to rigging elections.  After all, why leave anything to chance and leave open the possibility that the people’s choice might actually get elected.  That could really mess things up if we actually had a legitimate candidate that hadn’t been vetted and pre-approved by the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberger’s, the Trilateral Commission and various shadowy figures that seem to slip in and out of the shadowy halls of government insisting on having their way. Comment Period for Klamath Dams Draft EIS/EIR Extended
Comment Period Will End on December 30, 2011
The following statement was issued today by Dennis Lynch, Program Manager for the Secretarial Determination on Klamath River dam removal, regarding the extension of the public comment period for the Draft Environmental

Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR):

“The decision to remove or retain four Klamath River dams is of immense importance to the many Klamath Basin communities.  In addition to the peer reviewed science and the environmental analysis, public comments on the Draft EIS/EIR is also an important and critical component in shaping this decision.

The Department of the Interior and the California Department of Fish and Game listened to the numerous requests to extend the comment period on this lengthy Draft EIS/EIR and determined that it is in the best interest of the public to give additional time to review and comment.

Therefore, we have extended the comment period through Friday, December 30, 2011.”

The fix is in: Republicans make sure Obama serves second term

John Boering /PPJ contributor  November 19, 2011

I have concluded that we may as well dispense with the coming media circus surrounding the 2012 presidential election.  Think of it: no phony “debates”, no stage shows, no mud slinging ads, no having to hear the same lame lies and statements as one candidate after another tries to convince us that he/she will reverse the terrible destructive course the US  is on.  We don’t need to subject ourselves to any of it; the fix is in and Obama wins hands down, no competition……or at least none that the Republican party will acknowledge.  Why upset the status quo?

How do I know this?

The Republican party could easily sweep the elections and retake the White House simply by running Ron Paul (R) TX.  Poll after poll shows Paul garnering  25% with GOP voters and as much as 70% or more with the public  from BOTH sides of the political spectrum.

During the GOP debate, CBS twice removed a candidate poll because the support for Ron Paul showed that he was far and away the leading choice for Republican voters and that was not supposed to happen!

So why wouldn’t the Republican party run what is clearly a winning candidate?  Hmmmmm.  Because Ron Paul would put an end to much of the power Republicans and Democrats enjoy as a result of their own self-pandering, power grabbing and unconstitutional activity.

Instead they are offering the sorriest collection of non-starters most likely ever assembled for a presidential race and are actively blacking out and refusing to acknowledge the popularity of Paul with the voters and what would be a sure-fire land-slide election. More

________________________________________________________

We know from history that when a country loses its ability to feed its own population, its demise is soon to follow.  As a nation we are being systematically, incrementally and intentionally driven to the point where we cannot feed our own people.  The quickest way to collapse the economic viability of a nation is to destroy its agricultural sector.  It isn’t gold or silver, global investments and markets, or multi-national corporations and illegal agreements that sustain economies.  What does sustain and support a vibrant economy is a strong independent agricultural sector.

The underlying backbone to every economic model is agriculture.  And that model is not predicated upon anything other than local, hands on, food production in all its forms.  Key to undermining and destroying that model is the intentional destruction of the right to engage in agricultural activity using arbitrary regulations, laws, rules and agency police state enforcement actions perpetrated against independent and/or family owned agricultural operations.  Creating barriers to entry into agriculture is key to collapsing an independent agricultural sector which is what got us the fake food safety bill passed by “Dirty Harry” Reid, and his merry band of corporate hiney-hugging, US senators.

While these operations may be small financially, in comparison to big Ag industrialized activities, the independent sector comprises the bulk of our food supply.  It is this supply that our own government is determined to eradicate in favor of global corporate stakeholders.

And now they come for the cows…….. More

STOP! THE RE-WILDING IN SISKIYOU COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

  • Quick background to video:
Tucker was a part of “secret” meetings between NGOs from SF, Portland, and folks from WA DC who are all dam-removal enthusiasts (dam removal objectives all across the US are linked to these “special interest groups” who do not even live near these dams or in Siskiyou County).
  • Nearly 44,000 citizens in Siskiyou County, who will be most negatively impacted, were left out of these meetings.
  • Tucker is a non-Karuk, but Ph.D. spokesperson for the Karuk who are slated to gain millions of dollars and thousands of acres from this KBRA “agreement” as implied by the “agreement”.
  • Meanwhile, Shasta Native Americans are in favor of the dams, have the largest land mass along the Klamath River, and have sacred burial grounds that will be washed away forever if the dams come out.  They are left out of the land and money deals on this so-called “agreement.”
  • This is less about a radical enviro named Tucker and his friends (who will obviously benefit from this farm, ranch, and sacred burial grounds-killing agreement where Chapter 4 discusses farms and ranches (regardless of the deal) may be fundamentally transformed into National Parks via wetland status.

Taken directly from the CA Dept of Fish & Game & Department of Interior’s 09/11, 1800-page “Public Draft EIS/EIR” document:

Chapter 4 – Cumulative Effects
KBRA section p4-182: “The Water Diversion Limitations, On-Project Plan, WURP, and Interim Flow and Lake Level Programs could result in changes to land uses, including changes from ranchland to water storage areas. These changes have the potential to be beneficial if they result in landscapes (wetlands) that are consistent with the naturally established, characteristic landscape.”

Chapter 4-181
“Other cumulative actions and programs that could also improve water quality on the Klamath River include implementation of TMDLs on the Scott, Salmon, Shasta, and Klamath Rivers …and the Five Counties Road Maintenance Program.”

Feds Attack Klamath Basin Ranchers and Farmers With the ESA

W.R. McAfee Sr. (c) copyright 2011 All Rights Reserved

______________________________________________

On April 7, 2001, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation ignored state and federal law in the name of the ESA and stopped water to more than 200,000 acres and some 1,400 canal-irrigated family farms near Klamath Falls, Ore., plunging the community toward bankruptcy and devastating families.

Why? Because the bureau said two species of bottom-feeding suckerfish and a Coho salmon, in a reservoir the farmers depended upon, might be “affected” if water was released during the current drought.

The ESA had already been used to cut off water to a group of California farmers, causing their crops to dry up.

In Colorado, the forest service threatened another agricultural operation with a by-pass flow that would have resulted in an 80-percent loss of the dry-year water supply from a key reservoir, with a direct economic loss of between $5 and $17 million.

They also attempted to impose a “by-pass flow” that would have taken some 50 percent of the dry-year water supply provided from a Colorado municipal water storage facility.

In Idaho, a federal permittee was told he would have to bypass water to protect aquatic species or obtain an alternate source of water at a cost of $120,000.

In Arizona, where state law requires water rights be held by the person making the beneficial use of the water, the regional forester had demanded that water rights owned by grazing permittees be transferred to the feds – rights long established under state law for livestock purposes.

Federal agencies nationwide are using the ESA to try to override established water rights, state laws and the McCarran Act. More

ADT ~~ ANIMAL DISEASE TRACEABILITY

_____________________________________________________

“In Zanesville, Ohio, Sec. Vilsack held a political meeting and allowed questions. He was asked, “With over 90% of livestock producers opposed to NAIS in the listening sessions, how large would the percentage have to be to abandon the whole thing?” Answer political mumble, mumble……… Could it be 95% for ADT? Send in your opposition today and encourage others to quickly comment. Thanks for helping protect the US cattle producer from useless enforcements.”

____________________________________________

On February 5, 2010, USDA Sec. of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced that the opposition was so great, the ill-fated NAIS brain child of the US government was now ended. The cost, complications, record keeping time, and potential enforcement fines made the whole thing stink to ranchers of the USA. In listening sessions held to “hear the voice of the people” it had unearthed over 90% opposition to NAIS from cattle people.

For a period of time February, ranchers relaxed. Many were still skeptical, and rightfully so.

The battle was extremely lopsided. USDA had millions of dollars of taxpayer money — over $140 million to be precise — to develop and promote NAIS and to persuade state departments of agriculture and cattle industry trade associations to recruit as many independent cattle producers as possible into the unwanted NAIS program.

To not labor-on with this continuing burden of government versus people, NAIS is back, now called Animal Disease Traceability (ADT) and with the same diminutive text – government gobbledygook. With more federal and state veterinarians than any time in history and less livestock disease — those hired to terminate disease, have minimal disease to terminate. Cattle numbers are reducing and government employees are increasing.

The other talking point for ADT is US exports. Well, go jump in the lake! The USA hasn’t produced enough beef to feed the nation in 40 years and the amount being produced is declining. Yet, as the USA imported 16% of their beef last year, ADT, somehow needs to become mandatory to increase exports. It doesn’t take a Bernie Madoff to find a chuckle in that concept. More

The FDA as it exists: A clear and present danger to the public

_______________________________________________________
On August 20th, 2010, the FDA issued a recall and alert of an estimated 300 million (or was it billion?) eggs that were produced at Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa. Far from being the first time this egg company had been sited for unsanitary conditions or other FDA violations, the FDA subsequent to the latest infractions which affected consumers in many states, issued a warning letter (yet again) to the company. No one from Wright Egg Company was arrested; no product was seized or destroyed and not one person associated with Wright Egg was taken to court or charged with any crimes. What did follow was a letter of warning.

The letter states: “Failure to take prompt corrective action may result in regulatory action being initiated by the Food and Drug Administration without further notice.  These actions include, but are not limited to, seizure and/or injunction.”

No seizure or injunction occurred.  In fact,Wright County Egg really never missed a day of production, or was penalized in any meaningful way for their ongoing disregard of FDA standards.

The FDA is in ongoing communications with Wright County Egg to ensure that appropriate preventive measures are put in place to reduce the risk of recurrence.”

I bet they were really shakin’ in their shoes! (sarc) More

Total surveillance: SMART grid, SMART homes, SMART healthcare and a camera on every corner

While many of us wondered why the Federal government and numerous federal corporations operating in fraud, portraying themselves as “public service”, were so insistent on dispensing with anything other than all digital, all the time, we have enough experience to know that the Federal government while possessing the capability to actually do something to benefit the public at large, rarely ever does.  Good ideas quickly go bad as the policies, laws and regulations quickly convert to privileged deals, fictionally created science to facilitate global warming scams, economy killing agreements and special considerations for those extra-special campaign donors called, corporations, which the Supreme Court appears to be courting also.

Because of long term planning and the stealth implementation of various aspects of most everything the Federal government engages in when attempting to invade privacy, violate civil rights or just plain trash the Constitution, the all digital system was sold to the American public as the best, most wonderful service possible for communications.  Of course it required that analog services be rendered virtually inoperable and it made each of us vulnerable to ongoing and incessant surveillance of various kinds.

Constitutional Land: Siskiyou County is ground zero

Siskiyou County in Northern California is said to be “ground zero” in the coming attempts to wipe out entire sections of the country as the move to UN Agenda 21 non-human habitat zones are established. Through a system of Federal government agencies and agents, entire communities have been economically devastated as mining, timber and other resources are regulated out of business through arbitrary zoning and land use mangement interference, set in motion specifically to retard economic and community growth.

Holly Swanson, author of “Set Up & Sold Out,” enlightened many people about the Green movement that has infiltrated into our governments. The bottom-line is that a change from standing on our Constitutional rights has specifically occurred, because of the Green movement’s strategy. It ties into the Progressive movement, both of which move away from the Bill of Rights and Constitution and into Socialism. Actually, Holly calls it Green Communism. Her book is well-worth reading. UN, Monsanto, mining, oil & gas companies directing BLM plans for our public land

________________________________________________________

Resource management plans (for your land?)

How does the UN, Monsanto, mining, and oil & gas companies get their hands into Bureau of Land Mangement (BLM) Resource Management Plans and Environmental Assessments to dictate the use of our public lands (and our future)?

Well, I found one way.  I noticed that two companies, Tetra Tech and Environmental Management & Planning Solutions, Inc. (EMPSi), are preparing BLM (and Forest Service) Resource Management Plans (RMPs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Environmental Assessments (EAs) and other reports.  (So what do we pay BLM employees to do, just look pretty in their uniforms?)

Tetra Tech

It’s not some small environmental company.  Tetra Tech has 13,000 employees in 330 offices around the world.  Tetra tech owns about 25 other companies  and makes billions of dollars in annual revenues.  They work with developers, nuclear power, energy, mining and minerals processing, etc.  On the Tetra Tech website, it declares: “Our Mission: To be the premier worldwide consulting, engineering, and construction firm.”

Tetra Tech even bought PRO-Intelligent,  an international security and intelligence consulting firm used by the US State Department.  So they seem to have their hands in everything.

The most troubling aspect about Tetra Tech preparing the plans for the BLM can be seen by looking at Tetra Tech’s Board of the Directors:

Hugh M. Grant is the Chairman, President and CEO of Monsanto.
(on Tetra Tech’s website, this fact was omitted in his bio).  Why would Monsanto’s CEO be on the Board of an engineering and construction company?   More
