What the Idiots are up to this week.

One knows they reside in a country where apparently the saying years ago by the current Secretary Of State “It takes a village to raise a child” crashes into another of my favorite sayings “Somewhere a village is missing its idiot” to create: The Village Composed of Missing Idiots

I present to the reader my proof:

No helmet? That’s a $275 ticket

— even if you’re not on wheels

Malfatto noticed Officer Truscott writing a group of teenagers citations for not wearing helmets and thought it would be a good chance to use the flat part of the park to continue teaching his son to skate without any other people around. His son was equipped with a helmet, elbow pads, kneepads and wrist guards.

….

Officer Truscott promptly called him over as soon as he stepped into the park.

“So, we walk over, and I’m thinking the cop is going to use my son as an example to these kids,” said Malfatto, who instead got a ticket, which later arrived in the mail as a $275 citation.

Folks this man who was not even skating, just holding his son’s hand while teaching him to skate – was found GUILTY. His fine was suspended, but he was found GUILTY.  Idiots – gotta love ‘um.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are implementing that entire Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) and a mandated section has individuals “gasping” in surprise:

The CMS has issued a proposed rule that would prohibit federal payment to states under the Medicaid program for a list of healthcare-acquired conditions such as late-stage pressure ulcers, surgical-site infections and deep vein thrombosis.

How exactly does that work oh supporters of the mighty “share and scare” health plan?

Let’s say one is admitted for Kidney Transplant, the wrong individual receives the kidney and obtains a nasty infection (which thankfully did not happen in the USC case). As the village idiots gather around sponging away the excreting seepage from the infected wound, do they then address the patient?

“Gee Billy, that’s a nasty looking wound you got there. Better start planning on selling your underwater home soon ’cause according to Federal Law – that’s not covered Pal!”

And last, but certainly not least, I present to you the Idiot-Village-Commentator-Herself who stood by, never missing one word of her speech about how the Egyptian Government pulled the plug on communications during the recent unrest, while a Veteran For Peace member was dragged from the room for standing with his back toward her:

The only words Mr. McGovern said were after he was being dragged away (I assume before his wrists began to seep blood due to the handcuffs):

“So this is America. This is America? Who are you?”

As a 71-year-old man who might qualify for Medicaid, let’s hope the surface wounds won’t become infected after his admission to the Gulag Hospital ward. That’s not covered under the new village rules.

Oh – and wear your helmets folks – it’s rough out there.
