LibertyNews: If you do not know what I am referring to when I say that world leaders come to meet once a year at the Bohemian Grove in California, then read on.

INTRODUCTION:

Bohemian Grove is a 2,700-acre (1,100 ha) campground located at 20601 Bohemian Avenue, in Monte Rio, California, belonging to a private San Francisco-based men’s art club known as the Bohemian Club. In mid-July each year, Bohemian Grove hosts a three-week encampment of some of the most powerful men in the world.

The Bohemian Club’s all-male membership includes artists, particularly musicians, as well as many prominent business leaders, government officials (including many former U.S. presidents), senior media executives, and people of power. Members may invite guests to the Grove although those guests are subject to a screening procedure. A guest’s first glimpse of the Grove is typically during the “Spring Jinks”, in June, preceding the main July encampment. Bohemian club members can schedule private day-use events at the Grove any time it is not being used for Club-wide purposes, and are allowed at these times to bring spouses, family and friends, though female and minor guests must be off the property by 9 or 10 p.m. More

The FDA is Running an Extortion Racket

Dr. Mercola is the founder of the world’s most visited natural health web site, Mercola.com. You can learn the hazardous side effects of OTC Remedies by getting a FREE copy of his latest special report The Dangers of Over the Counter Remedies by going to his Report Page.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is running a criminal extortion racket designed to shift money from health supplement companies to the pockets of top FDA contractors. At least three different companies have been targeted for extortion by U.S. Food and Drug Administration employees.

The FDA extortion racket works like this: FDA employees use keyword-scanning software to scan the Web pages of natural health product and supplement companies. They look for terms like cancer, cures, treatment, remedies and other “forbidden” words.

FDA employees then review the discovered pages to determine if they contain any words that might inform consumers of the health benefits of the nutritional products — or links that point Web users to scientific articles from peer-reviewed medical journals that explain the health benefits of specific foods, supplements or nutrients. Companies are even targeted for simply posting customer testimonials, even when those testimonials make absolutely no health claims.

The Dirty Little Secret of H.R. 1586 “FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act”

Follow me here for a moment and learn the dirty little secret of H.R. 1586.

Normally one would think that the righteously titled H.R. 1586 recently passed and signed into law August 19, 2010 by Mr. Obama would at least have something to do with the bloated title that it received, but alas it does not. The original stated purpose in March of 2009 (17 months ago) was:

An act to modernize the air traffic control system, improve the safety, reliability, and availability of transportation by air in the United States, provide for modernization of the air traffic control system, reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration, and for other purposes.

The American Public can be sure that Representative Rangel (where have we heard that name recently?) wouldn’t introduce a Bill that has nothing to do with the title, now how could he “ethically” do that? After all, here is the man who was so upset about the upcoming War in Iraq that he introduced a “You Elitist SOBs Send Your Own Family Into Active Duty Act” (i.e. proposed a new draft beginning in 2003 continued ’04, ’06, ’07, ’10). Among his statements:

I first introduced legislation mandating military or national service for our youth during the lead up to the Iraq War, convinced that if the sons and daughters of Congress were doing the fighting, we might think twice about authorizing it. But I also felt it was time that all Americans, including the wealthy, be given the opportunity to prove their patriotism. All young people ought to make a contribution to the country. More
