BP – Beyond Petroleum = Big Trouble

“At the current flow rate, it would take from two to nearly four years for all the oil to leak from the field if it can’t be stopped.”_________________

The public relations television campaign states that BP now means beyond petroleum no longer appears on air. British Petroleum inescapably and unremittingly is now linked as the culpable corporate criminal of the greatest man made environmental disaster of all time. As confusing as the catastrophe seems, no one can reasonably deny the danger the Gulf of Mexico region has already suffered. The only unanswered aspect is how much more damage will migrate from beyond the drilling blow out.

Two months after the offshore oil-drilling platform Deepwater Horizon exploded, the initial report has no specific knowledge of what happened or if it was even a blowout. How much has changed since April 20th. The counting day clock is reminiscent of the CBS Walter Cronkite Iranian hostage countdown. The “Most Trusted Man in America” image died well before his passing. Replacing the naive belief in the accuracy of media reporting, today’s public relations spin is equal to the depth of the wellhead. More

Obama considering Executive Order to push Amnesty?

Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation’s 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can’t secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION CONSIDERING EXECUTIVE-ORDER AMNESTY FOR MILLIONS BECAUSE CAN’T GET VOTES IN CONGRESS

PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE THE ONLY WAY TO FIGHT THIS

This is a true red-alert danger. Read below for background, but please take action immediately.

TAKE ACTION: Send faxes to your 3 Members of Congress that warn them of the plot and urge them to speak out against it. Friends, U.S. Presidents have proven whether Republican or Democrat that they are capable of doing almost anything they please until they come up for re-election. Only an incredible outburst of outrage from the public can stop the Administration from doing a de facto amnesty all by itself.

Your great success in keeping Congress from voting on a mass amnesty this year has stirred up a new threat.

Montana: Butcher Plans on Marketing Horse BLOOD

Butcher Plans on Marketing Horse BLOOD

HOUSTON – (SFTHH)  One needs to have a lot of pity on the family of retiring Montana Rep. “Red” Ed Butcher; you know that they have to cringe each time he steps before a microphone, picks up a phone or opens his mouth in general.  There is just no way that this man’s lips can part without him sticking his foot clear up his mouth until his eyes bulge out; it’s got to be painful for those who are related to him, at least just a little bit.

Butcher continues to defy public opinion, scientific fact, good business practices, common sense and simple human dignity by continuing to shove a bloody horse slaughter plant down the throats of the good folks of Montana.  Butcher brought his communist Chinese buddies out to Hardin  Mt., earlier this year, in an effort to swindle them into opening a horse slaughter plant in Hardin’s old sugar beet factory.  The Chinese wanted nothing to do with it and Hardin modified their town’s zoning to ensure that it would not happen.

In a recent interview with the Billings Gazette reporter, Ed Kemmick, Butcher quipped:

“We don’t need Hardin.  They need us a lot more than we need them.”

Butcher said, he and his Chinese investor buddies decided the location “wasn’t really what we wanted.” He said the main problems were that the sugar plant is too close to town and to the interstate highway.

Ok, genius, why did you bring the Chinese horse eaters all the way over there in the first place, for some sort of vacation or what?  Didn’t you do your due diligence and scope out the place in the first place, let alone realize that there is no market for horse meat?  Like, Duhhhh  READ MORE

BORROWING OUR WAY OUT OF DEBT?

“The American economy begins with raw materials. Without a continuous supply of raw materials, productive sectors cannot produce, consuming sectors cannot consume, and exchanges of goods and money cease. The economy grinds to a halt,”

Introduction:

The idea of borrowing our way out of debt is ludicrous, but that is what the United States is attempting to do. For years, our basic national policy has been to borrow our way to prosperity. And now it has caught up with us, resulting in serious unemployment, high federal deficits and business and personal bankruptcies in record numbers. So what is our response? More borrowing, more debt and more earned income diverted to interest payments instead of prosperous economic expansion.

If debt were the way to prosperity, we would be in paradise. However, this debt policy will lead us only to a fool’s paradise. Why does a country with such an abundance of raw materials, technological skill and private enterprise know-how need to go further into debt? More

News Release: Glenn/Dankof Show on The Ugly Truth: Show Post on the Internet on Wednesday, 23 June 2010: Gilad Atzmon

Lutheran clergyman and ex-Republican and Constitution Party political activist Mark Dankof, joins host Mark Glenn on The Ugly Truth for a conversation with Israeli-born, British jazz saxophonist Gilad Atzmon.

Born on June 9, 1963, Gilad Atzmon’s musical career has been matched by one as a political activist critical of Jewish identity, Judaism, and Zionism. A feature story by John Lewis in the British Guardian on Atzmon in March of 2009 chronicles the controversial musician’s life.  Widely read in the Arab world, Mr. Atzmon’s views were the subject recent major coverage in the Arab News. An excerpt from the latter piece states:

According to the famous Israeli-born Jazz musician, Gilad Atzmon, “The ideology that carried out execution-style killings on the Gaza aid flotilla the ‘Mavi Marmara’ is the same ideology that carried out the massacres at Deir Yassin, Qibya, Sabra and Shatilla, Qana, Gaza, Jenin and the murder of Rachel Corrie — more than that it is the same ideology that killed Christ.”

Listen to the interview here.

Mr. Atzmon’s album, Exile, was the BBC’s jazz album of the year in 2003.  The Amazon listing for the recording may be accessed here.  Ari Davidow’s review of Exile may be accessed here.

BARACK OBAMA AND THE EMPTY SUIT SYNDROME

“When Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindahl declared a state of emergency in his state and begged federal officials for permission to build a massive network of sand berms to contain damage to the state’s beaches, it took Mr. Obama and his administration about a month to respond and they only gave permission to build 2 percent of the berms requested.”

I believe all of us at one time or another have either worked for someone or have known someone who suffered from what is commonly called the “Empty Suit Syndrome” or ESS. The term “Empty Suit Syndrome” appeared many years ago in the world of big business and big government and it is commonly used to describe a person, (usually a man, but it can also be a woman), who is usually fairly good looking, who wears stylish clothes, who speaks very well and who generally appears to others to be intelligent and professional, but its really just an illusion.
