With all the talk about “food security,” and distorted media statements like “South Korea leases half of Madagascar’s land,”1 it may not be evident to a lot of people that the lead actors in today’s global land grab for overseas food production are not countries or governments but corporations. So much attention has been focused on the involvement of states, like Saudi Arabia, China or South Korea. But the reality is that while governments are facilitating the deals, private companies are the ones getting control of the land. And their interests are simply not the same as those of governments. Having attended the trial of Pat and Melissa Monchilovich at Balsam Lake, I found it more like viewing a site being cleared by a bulldozer. Judge Molly GaleWyrick cleared the path for Wisconsin’s Department of Agriculture to further its agenda of an alleged disease control program. The Media in their true slanted fashion picked away at the obstructions around the edges, avoiding the hard facts like stones.
I had arrived at Pat’s house before the trial to find a young family supported by the community via phone calls and a helpful sister in law waiting to baby sit. Pat was understandably nervous, as a way of life he had come to know for generations was being threatened.
During the proceedings the Judge indicated that Pat and Melissa should have made their arguments in an administrative hearing not in her courtroom. Interesting thought, as the original motion to dismiss voided by the Judge was based on the failure of DATCP to provide just such a hearing.
When Pat raised the point of not having a premises on title, the Judge turned to the assistant district attorney Moria Ludvigson for an explanation of what Pat was saying, “he must mean that there isn’t a 911 address where the cattle are kept” Moria replied. More
Since I did not express my personal views in sending this link to people and groups on my list directly, I want to do so here:
What really saddens me is that these cases never had to be… But, when that could have been arranged, people would not listen. They would not give up their 4H, FFA, county and state fairs, Farm Bureau and all the rest. Now that they have happened, where is the support from people who don’t want this program to happen to them?
They have paid their money and given their support to national “heroes” and national organizations who purport to be against NAIS. I’ve fallen for that in the past as well, and have ALWAYS been sorely disappointed.

This is a public announcement of a premeditated assault on property owners in violation of the Wisconsin Constitution and individual property rights made by Donna Gibson on behalf of Wisconsin DATCP (Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection) in an interview with AgriView.
Why is no one pressing charges against her and other DATCP personnel and officials for making public threats and plans of harm to sovereign property owners in the state?
On October 21, 2009 in Wisconsin Circuit Court, Polk County, Judge Molly E. Galewyrick found Pat & Melissa Monchilovich guilty of failure to register premises. During that court proceeding and under oath, DATCP representatives admitted the program was not of benefit and probably never would be. Still, DATCP seems quite proud of their targeting of this family, and their subsequent threats to target others in Wisconsin.
In my opinion, this is nothing less than a threat of intended harm and the use of coercion and duress to force compliance to what is nothing more than an assault on private property rights perpetrated by state officials in violation of their offices and in violation of the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin. It would appear that state officials launching these attacks on property owners are not aware that Wisconsin has such a document or that they are bound to work within its scope and limitations. More
As usual, the U.S. government’s official position on the living conditions of women in Afghanistan is rosy. Things are improving, and we are proud of our country’s role in their liberation.
Kenyan-born Barack Hussein Obama has recently sent even more troops into Afghanistan, so things should be getting better, eh?
Here is the State Department’s official position on the plight of women in Afghanistan:

Speaker Pelosi Unveils Monster Bill – HR 3962
Today, Speaker Pelosi released the U.S. House health care takeover bill, H.R. 3962. They say they want to debate the bill beginning on Nov 2nd. The 1,990 page bill is nearly 1,000 pages longer than the original House bill, H.R. 3200.
Do you trust a 2,000-page health insurance reform bill to keep your life and liberty intact? Will your Representatives read it? They didn’t bother to read the first House bill when it was only1,018 pages

U.S. Vs Canada Smack Down in October?
Not exactly how you expected to start your day is it? A little background might be in order.
In 1990 the creation of the National Advisory Board on Animal Identification was created to begin offering livestock traceability initiatives in Canada. Not content to use the systems in place that had proven effect in cost, labor and common sense, the Advisory Board determined that streamlining through Rfid tagging and individual reporting of livestock was the way to go.
Determining the total cost for this voluntary program over the past 19 years is impossible. I’d like to say names have been changed to protect the innocent, but it is more likely the “Program” and Canadian Government simply don’t want the public to know the tax burden they bear. One can find the most recent funding totals $20 million over the next 3 years from The Canadian Industry Traceability Infrastructure Program. More

Official U.S. definitions regarding invasive species were clearly provided in Executive Order 13112 signed by President William J. Clinton on February 3, 1999.
“Invasive species” means an alien species whose introduction does or is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.
“Alien species” means, with respect to a particular ecosystem, any species, including its seeds, eggs, spores, or other biological material capable of propagating that species, that is not native to that ecosystem.
“Species” means a group of organisms all of which have a high degree of physical and genetic similarity, generally interbreed only among themselves, and show persistent differences from members of allied groups of organisms.
“Ecosystem” means the complex of a community of organisms and its environment.
_________________
Alien plant species, also known as genetically modified organisms, were engineered and introduced into natural environments specifically designed to spread rapidly. Because they are so uncontrollable and engineered to be aggressive, these aberrations of science gone mad rapidly overtake naturally occurring ecosystems and destroy the biodiversity needed to sustain not only the land, but the life on it. Alien GMO species are an unwelcome interruption, displacing natural plants and crops and all animal species dependent upon them for survival. More

We send greetings from the Tennessee General Assembly. On June 23, 2009, House Joint Resolution 108, the State Sovereignty Resolution, was signed by Governor Phil Bredesen. The Resolution created a committee which has as its charge to:
Communicate the resolution to the legislatures of the several states,
Assure them that this State continues in the same esteem of their friendship,
Call for a joint working group between the states to enumerate the abuses of authority by the federal government, and
Seek repeal of the assumption of powers and the imposed mandates. More

I’ve had people write to me and tell me they agree with this campaign to Kick Them All Out but they are afraid to sign on, make themselves known for fear of ending up on some list. I had a good friend tell me the same thing one day while talking on the phone. He confessed that he was afraid our conversation was being listened to by the government and that he may end up on some list. He wasn’t shaking in his boots scared. It was more of a “Big Brother is watching” sense in the back of his mind but it was there nonetheless. It was a definite concern that should never have been in his mind in the first place. Staging the collapse of private dairy operations: A corporate coup’
A 2007 University of Georgia article entitled “New Zealand Partnership may boost milk in Georgia” caught my attention as it seemed to be arbitrary to everything from the USDA I had been reading. According to the article Georgia had lost more than 150 dairy’s since 2000 and predicted a milk shortage if this new technology, covered by proprietary right under the TRIPS (1) agreement, wasn’t implemented. The eastern seaboard could see a milk shortage.
This all sounded really alarming until I remembered that the USDA had a long running program of dairy herd culling; eliminating or thinning of dairy herds across the US by the thousands due to a “glut” of milk on the market. How could Georgia possibly be in danger of inadequate milk supplies: apparently there is so much milk on the market, dairy cows are being slaughtered for meat to slow milk production. With this in mind, I looked into what this New Zealand Partnership might be about. More

Federal court documents show that the Arrelano Felix Organization (AFO) also known as the Arrelano Felix Family is a criminal enterprise based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. For more than 20 years, the AFO has shipped hundreds of tons of cocaine and marijuana to the United States; laundered hundreds of millions of dollars in drug proceeds; kidnapped, tortured, and murdered numerous persons, including informants and law enforcement personnel; and paid millions of dollars in bribes to government officials. The cartel nearly collapsed in 2002, after Ramon Arrelano Felix was killed by the police, and Brother Benjamin was taken into custody. However, the cartel has since seen resurgence in strength, power, and violence. And, with the recruiting of U.S. Government agents and others, the cartel continues to be a major player in all organized crime in Baja California.
The remarkable thing about this case is one of the defendants is a high ranking current or former United States Government agent with ICE, little known fact that has not been brought to the attention of the public by U.S. Authorities. One high ranking Mexican official pointed out that they (the U.S. Government) may not realize it themselves. More

We agree with and support the premise of issue 2 but not as a constitutional amendment.
The same objective to thwart PETA and HSUS could have been accomplished by including the key words “agricultural best management practices for such care and well-being” in section 900 of the Ohio Revised Code. This we do support.
Our problem with this constitutional amendment is the excessive power it places in the hands of a 13-member group of non-elected bureaucrats. This constitutional amendment places in the Board’s hands the power to mandate whatever they choose, and it is the Department of Ag that will implement and enforce those decisions of the Board. (see the text of proposed amendment at The text of the amendment includes “consider factors that include, but are not limited to,” which gives the Board authority far beyond the scope of its stated purpose. In the text “agricultural best management practices for such care and well-being” is the part that will thwart HSUS and their cronies. “Biosecurity,” “disease prevention,” “animal morbidity and mortality data,” “food safety practices,” and “the protection of local, affordable food supplies” are already covered in Ohio Revised Code. Two labs conducting glyphosate safety studies for Monsanto were cited for “routine falsification of data” and other offenses. One lab study claimed it used “specimens from the uteri of male rabbits….”
In response to the publication of Rachel Carson’s groundbreaking indictment of the pesticide industry, Silent Spring, Monsanto and other chemical companies launched a major p.r. offensive. The industry sponsored public forums with purported “independent” experts speaking on the benefits of pesticides; the company’s propaganda tools included publication of a pamphlet called The Desolate Years, which posited a world of massive food shortages resulting from over regulation of pesticides (the company continues to repeat this lie to this day, in countless ads and public statements suggesting that food shortages will result unless the world unquestionably accepts its genetic food experiments).
For decades, Monsanto dumped highly toxic PCBs in Anniston Alabama, then spent years covering up the dumping and the attendant health hazards to residents. As the Washington Post reported,
Senator Kohl of Wisconsin who had a direct hand in setting up the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the USDA to force the Wisconsin farmers and ranchers into the NAIS/Premises ID and who also, along with Rep. Obey facilitated the cooperative funding agreement [bribery payment] cementing that contract with the USDA, just announced that $1,550,000 has been allotted to WLIC. This was the consortium set up after NAIS/Premises ID was shoved through the Wisconsin legislature and promoted as a strictly “voluntary” program.
Recent developments lauded by many in agricultural circles as the “end of NAIS’ as a result of funding being withheld or denied on the federal level, apparently weren’t aware that the USDA through its for-profit activities as a sub-corporation of the federal corporate government, has nearly limitless sources of funds that can be used for any thing they deem appropriate. With the agricultural industrial complex willing to supply any and all funds necessary to overthrow traditional farming and ranching in favor of industrialized operations, USDA has no shortage of funds that can be paid to bankrupted states in desperate needs of funds to continue operating. So what if traditional farmers are driven off their lands and forced to forfeit everything they have worked for so long as corporations can make a profit and states can pad their coffers with bribe money.

We have been keeping you posted on the anti-gun “health” bill which would dump all of your most private health-related gun information into a federal database — and would allow the Obama administration to suspend your government-mandated insurance if you keep a loaded firearm for self-defense.
But this legislation ran into a buzz saw because it would cut health entitlements — primarily Medicare — by $404 billion. In particular, under the health bill crafted by Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, Medicare payments to doctors would drop 25% after the first year — bringing the Medicare program to a screeching halt.
Now, Senate Democrat Leader Reid has crafted a procedural trick: He’ll restore over $200 billion of the $404 billion in cuts in separate legislation — S. 1776.
Because it is a separate bill, he will continue to claim that health reform “doesn’t increase the federal deficit by a single penny,” even though it increases the deficit by 20 trillion pennies when you consider this second bill.
Suffice it to say that this tactic is corrupt, even by Harry Reid standards.
This fraud bill is being filibustered by Senate Republicans. And the Senate will vote on whether to cut off debate on Monday, shortly after 5:00 EDT. More
Be it resolved by the people of the state of Ohio,
ARTICLE XIV: SOVEREIGNTY; Powers and Authorities; Limitations
§1. Purpose of Ohio Constitution
The Ohio Constitution represents the voice and will of the People of Ohio for establishment and operation of their public offices and body politic for protection of their individual and collective rights, privileges and immunities. It constitutes the fundamental controlling instrument upon which all powers and authorities of the state are dependent, and without which the state shall not act.
This Constitution shall stand on its own as a self executing instrument on all public servants. More
A full copy of the proposed assault on the Ohio constitution is attached at the end of this article. Thanks to www.ohioacts.org for compiling this comprehensive statement on what this proposed coup against Ohio sovereign citizens will actually do.
Issue 2 on the November ballot is an industry attempt to change the Ohio state constitution, establishing a “Livestock Care Standards Board” that would have unchecked power to establish standards for livestock and poultry. Technically the product of the Ohio General Assembly, the ballot issue is heavily backed by groups representing major agribusiness interests, including the Ohio Farm Bureau and The Ohio Pork Producers Council.
While masquerading as an attempt to improve food safety and animal welfare, Issue 2 in reality is an attempt by big industry to preempt statewide initiatives like the recent Proposition 2 in California,2 which phased out problematic animal production practices like battery cages for chickens. In effect, the proposed Livestock Care Standards Board would give a dozen political appointees broad and unchecked power to decide rules on animal welfare, potentially reshaping regulations on how animals are raised, tracked or traced. It appears as a result of the massive backlash against the seizure of the US food production and supply as outlined in Hr 2749 which passed the House on July 30, 2009, the corporate agricultural producers who thought they had it in the bag, who were going to be handed total control of US food production and supply as a result of political cronyism, aren’t quite getting what they wanted as fast as they anticipated. This list of reasons are, only my own view. They’re the conclusions I have arrived at after several months of thoroughly studying the scientific documents, official publications and declarations of medical authorities.
I’m giving you links to Internet sites so that you can check information yourself and give the whole issue further consideration. As you will see, the reasons for my own refusal are many. I do not expect you to agree with my arguments since everyone has a different point of view. What I do invite you to do is to consider which, are the sentences, here that fit your own reality, and simply follow the voice of your conscience. In any case, only one reason should be enough to push you to refuse this vaccine. For you and for your close relations, it is your choice.
I refuse this vaccine because there isn’t any flu pandemic in 2009yet More
NEW YORK (CBS) ―Health care workers in New York will no longer be forced to get the H1N1 swine flu vaccine, CBS 2 has learned.

The H1N1 vaccination propaganda machine is going full-tilt, and the timetable for rapid population reduction is upon us. This is soooooo obvious, people! They are telling us what is going to happen before it happens, because they are going to cause it. Depending on whether you want to believe the WSJ News Alert at 3:00 PM today or CNNMoney.com, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed today at $10,018.58 or at $10,015.86.
Nickels and Dimes.
The real news stems from this statement in the WSJ Alert: “The 10000 level on the Dow is still 29.4% below its record close of 14164.53 hit on Oct. 9, 2007.” It never ceases to amaze me that our money mavens can ignore the Time Value of Money any time it suits their purposes.
Comparing apples to apples, here are the real numbers. The current value of $14,164.53 adjusted for the current inflation rate of 3.58% (you could look it up) is $15,222.49, making the difference between today’s close and the all-time high (adjusted for inflation) $5,206.63.
This is 34.204 percent short of the all-time high. To put that in perspective, the difference between 29.4% and 34.204% times a median annual income of $58,000 comes to $2,786.32.
Remember this EVERY time you read ANYTHING about the economy, especially if the government has released it. If it does not take into account the Time Value of Money, it is not worth the paper or the bandwidth it is written on.

Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to reauthorize three expiring provisions in the USA PATRIOT Act. While the bill they passed allegedly strengthened civil liberties in reality, the Committee failed to make any meaningful improvements to the Patriot provisions that violate citizen’s basic rights. Strangely, the Obama Administration played a significant behind the scene role in opposing stronger civil liberties protections, directly contradicting Obama’s positions as a Senator. More
One hard lesson we should have learned after Wall Street’s collapse and the government’s handling of the bailout is that there is no reason, whatsoever, for us to sacrifice our good faith and trust in former bankers who now run the Treasury and Federal Reserve. And now as the flu season gets ready to kick off amidst much fanfare and predictions of doom due to a new H1N1 influenza virus, there is emerging sufficient information to raise very serious doubts whether our nation’s health authorities are truly serving the public health instead of commercial interests.
If the flu season goes according to schedule, the vaccine industrial complex will be poised to join Wall Street for record year rip-off profits. We will also likely witness huge Pharma executive bonuses and perhaps gold-plated toilets. Even if the CDC statisticians’ crystal ball used to forecast rampant swine flu infections turns into a complete bust—which would only be one more added to many other failed flu predictions back to 1976—it will nevertheless be a very profitable failure as was the economic collapse for the banking cartel. The vaccine industry has now received orders in the range of 3 billion doses during the course of the coming flu season. The World Health Organization would like to vaccinate two thirds (4 billion) of the global community, and the US alone is spending $2 billion to stockpile the nation with upwards to 250 million doses.
In the US, such profits could never be accomplished without a dynamic, marketing initiative to convince Americans that vaccines will keep them protected and alive. And what better public relations machine for the vaccine complex, and all its supporters in health insurance and professional medical institutions, than our very own Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Health and Human Services.

We have some ideas about how and why this happened but will withhold commenting until we are sure.
The Livestock Committee of the National Organic Standards Board is recommending that genetically engineered vaccines be allowed in organic livestock production, with no review of the vaccines to determine if they meet evaluation criteria established in the Organic Foods Production Act.
In another round of what is coming to be viewed as absolute insanity in the wild world of genetically mutated agriculture, this “board” has now decided that it does not have to meet criteria for testing the efficacy or safety of, genetically mutated vaccines to be used in livestock.
We all need to remember that any vaccine, any growth hormone or antibiotic, remains in the meat even after processing. These toxic concoctions are also present in the urine and feces of animals subjected to their use and as such, have rendered manure unfit as a fertilizer (this after thousands of years of use as the best fertilizer). The manure produce by animals infected with these toxic chemicals is then leached into soil and water as the now, hazardous, waste breaks down.
And they still intend to call this “organic”? Read the September 2009 report.
The NOSB will consider the issue when it meets Nov. 3-5, 2009, in Washington DC. Comments must be submitted by Oct. 19.
“The suit will seek an injunction against the FDA from approving the vaccine,” attorney Jim Turner told NaturalNews on Thursday evening’s Natural News Talk Hour show. “And the core of the argument is that they have not done the proper safety and efficacy tests on the vaccine to allow it to be release at this time.”
The suit seeks to not only nullify the FDA’s unlawful “approval” of the four H1N1 influenza vaccines, but to also ask the court to issue an injunction that would halt any mandatory vaccination requirements.
“The FDA is required by law to establish that a vaccine is safe and effective before it can be given to the public,” said Turner. “We are arguing that they did not establish that the vaccine was effective, and did not establish that it was safe. They are trying to get it on the market by a waiver.” More
