Prior to the attack on the Bundy ranch, the BLM, the same one that showed up dressed for war, has had a long running war against the wild horses, not only in Nevada, but also in virtually every other western state. Repeatedly violating the Wild Horse & Burro Act of 1971 by chasing, terrorizing, capturing, and sending to slaughter thousands of wild horses, the BLM has been held above the law (anarchism) by successive courts.

I woke this morning wondering if the talking heads at MSNBC had survived the night, after the Cliven Bundy implosion yesterday. Bundy, who made remarks pertaining to slavery, had caused MSNBC to nearly burst into virtual flames. It was the same on almost every other cable news station. I can’t even think of what must be happening at the Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center.

101021-lean-forward3sWhen the smoke settled, politicians everywhere had run for cover.  Most  had remained silent during the government sponsored terrorism of the Bundy’s.  Few had had the jewels to come out in defense of this family against government thugs.  Those that had, quickly disappeared into the shadows.  Apparently, it is ok for the BLM to launch a full scale attack on one lane rancher, but “racism” is kryptonite for the politically connected.

For two days MSNBC hung a dialogue box on the screen with the words “welfare rancher” emblazoned in it regardless of whom was speaking on the Bundy issue.  That was followed with the word “racist”.

So there you have it.

It wasn’t that the BLM had laid siege to the Bundy ranch with more than 200 “troops”, tanks, grenade launchers, AK -47‘s, and paid Blackwater style assassins to take the last remaining rancher off the land in Clark County, Nevada.

It wasn’t that a federal militarized agency, militarized for use against the public, had shown up on private land over a dispute with every intention of stealing every one of Cliven Bundy’s cattle, killing them, and most likely the family along with them in order to put him off the land and out of business…….it was that Bundy was a racist.

Well. That makes all the difference in the world. No wonder the BLM thugs showed up geared for war as if they were prepared to fight a battle in the mid-east.

Why did you steal those cows?

This was never about some paltry grazing fee.  If it had been, the local sheriff would have shown up with BLM agents and arrested Bundy.  But this was never, ever the intent.  This whole incident was to send a message to other ranchers; a notice of what is to come if they do not comply with the BLM demands.  Failure to pay grazing fees does not mean the feds get to come in and steal your cattle, kill as many as they want to and terrorize a private citizen.  But you, the public, are supposed to adjust your thinking to accept the idea that not only is this acceptable, but necessary.

While the legal eagles out there attempt to revise property laws, state laws and rights to adjust to the growing federal overreach, the fact remains that the Bundy’s have persistent rights.  These rights have been established for more than 140 years.  The argument that the federal government owns Nevada through the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo might be valid, but so is the concept of property rights through adverse possession.  Having made improvements at his own expense and after the failure of the BLM to uphold their part of the contract with Bundy, and in recognition of persistent rights, Bundy had every right to continue to use the land as his family had historically and continually.

What next?

Having tried to paint Bundy as an “anarchist”, and having failed to get the public to bite on that one, the BLM thugs were in tizzy. It was apparent that the “anarchists”, meaning those who do not believe the law applies to them, were all wearing badges and uniforms, and others were there as hired help. In any other venue, the hired help in this situation would have been classified as mafia style hit men and put on the FBI’s most wanted list. In this situation, they were government employee’s, and above the law. (anarchists)

And then there was/is the problem of all those supporters showing up to support and defend the Bundy’s. That was NOT supposed to happen! Now what? Oh! I know! Let’s tell everyone that the men wanted to put the women and kids out front as a shield in case the BLM troopers pulled the trigger!

Yeah! That will get everyone fired up and turn them against the supporters. What do you mean no one is buying that? Oh crap…..

Turn those cameras on!

With so many video camera’s, phone’s and other recording devices trained on the BLM, it would be impossible to fire off a few shots to get things started and then blame those supporters. It’s not like Waco or Ruby Ridge where the fed’s controlled everything and then later lied and said “they started it!”

While this stage show is played out, “Dirty Harry” Reid and his strange son Rory, deny any culpability, responsibility or accountability for what has transpired in Nevada. MSNBC even had Rory on to deny any connection to the corporations salivating to take Bundy’s land from him; land they were promised through corporate contracting. It is alleged that the Chinese firm associated with a large planned project has walked away from the deal.

The last man standing

Prior to the attack on the Bundy ranch, the BLM, the same one that showed up dressed for war, has had a long running war against the wild horses, not only in Nevada, but also in virtually every other western state. Repeatedly violating the Wild Horse & Burro Act of 1971 by chasing, terrorizing, capturing, and sending to slaughter thousands of wild horses, the BLM has been held above the law (anarchism) by successive courts. In these courts, the very law that supposedly gives the BLM management duties over the wild horses, is routinely ignored.

The BLM has also been responsible for removing the desert tortoise from its natural habitat where it thrived, housing more than 1400 in one of their “sanctuaries”. Now, supposedly the BLM can no longer afford the upkeep and plans to euthanize at least half of them.

But they have money for agency perpetrated domestic terrorism, regardless of the cost.

So let me get this right:

The BLM has more than $27 million to pay its friends each year for long term holding for the wild horses that they illegally removed from the land set aside for them.

The BLM has millions to pay private contractors to terrorize and round up the wild herds with helicopters and other equipment.

The BLM has millions to spend rounding up the desert tortoise and to euthanize them just to make a point.

The BLM can spend millions to protect the sage grouse, a bird they just “think” might be endangered, but have no actual evidence is. But this bird has facilitated the theft of millions of acres of otherwise private or publicly owned land.

The BLM has millions to spend militarizing its employees and for war weaponry and gear.

The BLM has millions more to blow on attacking one hold out rancher.

(And the BLM is crying about their claimed 1.1 million in grazing fees they say Bundy owes them?)

While the agency name is “The Bureau of Land Management”, one has to wonder at this point……management of what? To what end? For what purpose?

It surely cannot be to protect any wild animal or bird what with its track record of killing off everything in its path.

It cannot be to manage the land, because they have facilitated the massive destruction and devastation of land through their business contracts.

They have facilitated the contamination of water through excessive mining, drilling and fracking contracts and used up valuable water supplies for these activities leaving many western state populations with water shortages.

So what is it exactly that this agency is “managing”? And maybe the next question should be: Why do we allow them into our states?

While you may or may not agree with the Bundy’s or their position, the larger issue is the growing threat of federal agencies with regards to the public. The siege of the Bundy ranch and the obvious intention to cause harm to this family should have had the hair on your head standing on end.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term “homegrown terrorism”.
