Many of us have wondered if directed to; would our own military turn on us? It appears that this is the plan and has been all along, yet the question remains……would they actually do it if ordered to?
S.1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill. Senators Carl Levin (D) MI and John McCain (R) AZ, are bringing this bill to the Senate floor on
S.1867 The end of Liberty
Monday after having held secret committee meetings while never holding even one hearing on this bill which authorizes military action against US citizens, right here in the United States.
While the bill appears on the surface to be about authorizing defense funding for the illegal wars, the ongoing unwarranted surveillance of the US population and the continuing violations of the 4th Amendment as applied to US citizens, many of the provisions of the bill do not pertain to unidentifiable terrorists or any other villain carefully crafted to terrorize the country. The fact is, as a result of the false flag attacks on 9/11, we have massive numbers of police state “laws” on the books which created “terrorists” or redefined “terrorist activity” to include everything from political dissent and free speech, even including targeting of US citizens for mentioning or referencing the Constitution or supporting third party, non-approved candidates for public office.
When this bill passes with these police state provisions included (I believe it will) you can expect your senator who voted “yes” on the bill to maintain that they only did so because otherwise the funding for the wars would have ceased (we could only hope) and they have to continue to fight the terrorists, terrorism, or what ever lame excuse pops into their heads to explain why they voted to pass what is clearly a police state bill.
The bill itself was drafted in secret and I believe it would be to our benefit to know who actually drafted that bill.
Who were the “stakeholders” who actually wrote the bill introduced by these two traitorous senators. We know they didn’t write it, they never do. All bills are written by stakeholders who blow through the doors of congress carry bags of cash to buy the support of politicians who make their living selling off our rights along with anything else that isn’t nailed down.
S.1867 includes these provisions highlighted by the ACLU:
If enacted, sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA would:
1) Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside theUnited States;
(2) Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and
(3) Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice.
The Washington Post of course did its part to make sure it appeared this bill was about “terrorists”, who could be held indefinitely, who could be subject to extraordinary rendition (transferred to countries like Egypt for extensive torture) and glossed over or totally avoided mentioning the fact that the provisions of this bill could be applied, and are actually intended to be applied to US citizens on US soil.
The language of the bill is intentionally very broadly written to allow later interpretations that will be used to redefine yet again, our rights, our protections, striking each one down under the false flag use of “the war of terror”.
In the last several years we have seen the militarization of our local law enforcement under the direction of Homeland Security. We now have major US cities armed with military tanks, drones, and outfitted like star wars storm troopers; all for use against US citizens in their own communities. Local law enforcement has been remade into extended military units to enable them to become a working military unit in tandem with military control. These law enforcement units have ceased operating as “protect and serve” civil service operations and instead have become direct threats to the communities which are forced to endure them. The escalating violence against the citizens, the abrogation of rights, the violation of standing laws and the protection provided to these units by the courts should have us all demanding an end to Homeland Security interference in local law enforcement activities and reverting law enforcement back to one of community protection and service.
We have seen the creation of the White House Rural Council along with other newly created agencies that all include the military as part of their structure. This is no accident. There is no plausible reason the military would be included in any Council making preparations to unlawfully enter into the states, unless military action against the citizenry was anticipated.
S.1867 is a catch all bill. Its intention is to make legal (not lawful) the crime of unlawful detention without due process. By extension, the bill would condone the practice of extraordinary rendition for the purpose of torture of US citizens who could be kidnapped from our streets without being charged with a crime, having access to the courts for redress (the bill condones the military holding tribunals outside of the US court system at its discretion) and holding US citizens indefinitely without charging them with any crime.
This bill is one of the final steps necessary in striking down any remaining Constitutional protections or rights, all under the phony war of terror being perpetrated by our own government against its own citizens. This is not a right or left, Democrat or Republican plan……they are all in it together. They will all vote for it together knowing full well that it is an assault on the people of the US.
In my opinion, it is an open declaration of war against the people by our own government.
This brings us back to the initial question:
If ordered to do so, would our own military turn on us?
It appears they would.

Several Senators who voted no on the bill like Feinstein, Graham jsut to name two, said that it clearly is intended to target US citizens and it was no accident.
Dan: Actually what it says is “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States”, which isn’t quite the same as saying that military custody doesn’t apply at all. What it means is that it doesn’t HAVE to apply, not that it can’t.
Either way, George W. Bush fought for the right to be able to unilaterally strip someone of their citizenship if they were named a terrorist, and I don’t doubt Obama would do the same.

Having read the bill and section 1031/1032, it clearly states this military detention does not apply to U.S. citizens. Please read everything in the bill. like most government bills it has too many words and other useless language in it, but it does state who can and can not be detained.
It is interesting how a Republican Sen. McCain from Arizona and Sen. Carl Levin a Democrat of Michigan drafted the bill in secret. First, thank you to Oregon’s senator for voting against this absurd bill. Second, the senators that DID vote for it have betrayed the American people and should be tried for treason. Our constitutional rights are NON-NEGOTIABLE, and if they think it is, what better time for a revolution? Obama, if you do ANYTHING for your people before elections, please, we ALL beg you to veto this bill! If you do this, you might get re-elected. Yes this is very grave however, I would like to make one point. Obama, like his predecessors didn’t ‘elect’ themselves? They didn’t emerge from some multi-dimensional universes? They didn’t wish themselves into positions of self appointed authority either. They seated themselves with the help of a vote. I never voted so I shouldn’t be subjected to the same treatment that those who that do. What would happen if nobody showed up on November 4, 2012? Voter boycott!

In 1994, we had the Assault Weapons Ban brought to you by your then president clinton-only then after how many years did anyone say anything. With legislation like these, ask yourself, cui bono, who benefits? Who are the primary targets? Imaginary ‘drug lords’ or particular ethnic or social classes? You folks are going to have to get over the idea of passing this amendment or that amendment then doing X. That can only be done under a constitutional Republic which was abandoned in 1860 by Lincoln when he ordered the reinforcement of the customs garrison in the middle of Charleston SC harbor.

I am a Vietnam Vet and though I am 63 years old, I remember my training, and tactics. I am armed, have food and water stored, and a plan. I may not be healthy, but my trigger finger is just fine. I cannot afford a computer and borrow my buds sometime so prob won’t see replies, but maybe he will let me know. I can say that my family, friends, and neighbors ALL are prepared just in case the SHTF. One item we all have is a copy of the BIBLE, and I must mention a pocket sized copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Two of my friends are cops, and they say if it comes down to it, they will simply NOT report to work. They will NOT shoot their neighbors and friends, or any US Citizen. These guys are Oath Keepers and that group of men/woman number in the millions, declared or not. Will our military and police actually harm us? History says YES. Just remember the Civil War when brother fought brother, son vs dad, etc. So yes, it could happen. It would be better to be prepared and nothing happen, than NOT be prepared and the SHTF. I am sad, and yes, afraid, because I saw war, I saw young men die horrible deaths, so pray every night at bedtime and ask God to please prevent it. Those of you who have never witnessed war may think it will be fun, or exicting, but take it from me my friend/s. “war really is hell” and we must find a way to prevent it. Today, Senator John McCain, along with several other Senators is sponsoring The Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010, or S. 3081. The bill authorizes the President to deny a detainee a trial by jury simply by designating that person an “enemy belligerent.”
Who would be considered an enemy belligerent? Could an enemy belligerent be a Tea Party Protester? Possibly; because in April 2010 the Government did a security exercise at Fort Knox and sent out the following message regarding it: “Friday, 23 April 2010, and identifies the terrorist threat adversaries as “Local Militia Groups / Anti-Government Protesters / TEA Party.”
Democrat Senator Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey sponsored Senate Bill 34 Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2011. It gives the Attorney General, currently the biased Eric Holder the authority to deny the sale or distribution of firearms or explosives to individuals whom the Attorney General has determined to be engaged in terrorist activities. Who in Eric Holder’s mind may these people be? Could it be Tea Party Patriots?

We did read ALL the versions of the bill…..the one now before the senate is the latest revision. Even if that passes as is……changes can and will be made when it goes to through the final phase of tweaking before it lands on the presidents desk for signing. What we think passed and what ends up actually being signed into laws can be and most times are vastly different documents.

We need more; What everyone can do to change this very bad situation into something constructive and uplifting is; Take action and call or write our Senators and Representatives and let them know that with the sections 1031 and 1032 included in Bill 1687, This bill will be a de facto declaration of War on We The People, and WE will not stand for it, or anymore of these Neo-Fascist so-called ‘laws’. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill(HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out. Ben Bernanke(pictured to the right), Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets. Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve’s nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sander’s webpage earlier this morning.
What was revealed in the audit was startling:
$16,000,000,000,000.00 had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world’s banks, corporations, and governments. The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest. Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious – the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs.

The current verion of the bill, the one shown on LoC…..has been revised to avoid the Udahl amendment being debated.
We will have to watch Senate voting tomorrow to see what will be in the final bill and we won’t know what the actual passed bill contains until it has been passed and recorded amd appears as a public law.
