I have concluded that we may as well dispense with the coming media circus surrounding the 2012 presidential election. Think of it: no phony “debates”, no stage shows, no mud slinging ads, no having to hear the same lame lies and
statements as one candidate after another tries to convince us that he/she will reverse the terrible destructive course the US is on. We don’t need to subject ourselves to any of it; the fix is in and Obama wins hands down, no competition……or at least none that the Republican party will acknowledge. Why upset the status quo?
How do I know this?
The Republican party could easily sweep the elections and retake the White House simply by running Ron Paul (R) TX. Poll after poll shows Paul garnering 25% with GOP voters and as much as 70% or more with the public from BOTH sides of the political spectrum.
During the GOP debate, CBS twice removed a candidate poll because the support for Ron Paul showed that he was far and away the leading choice for Republican voters and that was not supposed to happen!
So why wouldn’t the Republican party run what is clearly a winning candidate? Hmmmmm. Because Ron Paul would put an end to much of the power Republicans and Democrats enjoy as a result of their own self-pandering, power grabbing and unconstitutional activity.
Instead they are offering the sorriest collection of non-starters most likely ever assembled for a presidential race and are actively blacking out and refusing to acknowledge the popularity of Paul with the voters and what would be a sure-fire land-slide election.
When I see politicians such as Newt (I just can’t keep my pants on)Gingrich being paraded out for the umpteenth time and treated as if he is actually a viable and desirable candidate for the country’s highest office, knowing this man’s proclivity for mistresses and philandering, for abusing position and power, I tend to think the Republican party has bottomed out.
The remaining candidates are so lack luster, so unqualified, so entrenched in neo-conservative ideology that these pseudo debates are actually tedious to listen to. The canned questions with the corresponding canned and scripted answers are an insult to the viewers.
As a last ditch effort to throw a clinker into the mix, Herman Cain appeared on the Republican bandwagon. For cripes sake, from where did the Republicans dig this man up? Every time Cain appears on camera, viewers begin cringing as they wait for the next fabulously idiotic statement emanating from this man’s mouth. Of course Faux News just loves him……that should be a tip off right there that something is wrong.
So the question remains: Why would the Republican party shun a candidate who can obviously win against all comers, and instead support candidates they know have no chance of winning anything unless the electronic voting machines are rigged yet again?
The Answer: Obama is their candidate also. As president he has been far more effective at dismantling the Constitution, passing oppressive legislation, issuing unlawful and unconstitutional Executive Orders, and expanding the death grip of the federal government on the states than Bush2 and his neo-conservative collection of psychopaths’, ideologues’, new world order, corporate pandering and UN suck-ups than any of these supposed candidates now offered for consideration.
Make no mistake, the Republicans want Obama re-elected just as much as the Democrats do, after all there really is only one party in the District of Criminals and all concerned are quite happy with Obama. There is no way the Republican party is going to run a sure fire winner whose intentions are to reign in the federal corporation when they already have the perfect man in office who has done more to deconstruct the US than even Bush 2 did.
I guess I just answered my own question.

How can I call myself a Republican when I support President Obama? I can call myself a Republican because the Republican Party has not offered a credible candidate in many years. I would consider voting Republican if the party nominated a credible candidate, such as Jon Huntsman.
I last voted for a Republican candidate in a presidential election in 1996 for Bob Dole and no one expected him to win. I would not and did not vote for George W. Bush. John McCain has more integrity than George W., but he was not the right man for these challenging times. For the sake of the country, the GOP should nominate a serious candidate in 2012.
Here’s the thing……………..if you’re focused on the upcoming presidential election, you’re missing the big picture. Frame the presidential election against a backdrop beginning at the Vietnamese Conflict, our pathetic capitulation to the People’s “republic” of China (one of two communist countries that endlessly supplied the North Vietnamese), Nixon’s first trip to China, the new Open Door Policy coming out of the seventies, going into the eighties with the grand embrace of a new capitalist tolerant China during the nineties ( the Clinton years) and finally, the last decade of America’s insatiable demand for cheap products coming out of ………………….yes……………i believe you’re beginning to see the light……………….THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA…….don’t look now, but we are that PEOPLE. Focusing on elections in this country with any expectation that the “american” agenda will move forward with any significant impact in the world is like sitting around the radio in Aunt Bee’s living room with Andy Griffith and Barney Fife, listening for the results of the mayoral race in Mayberry.
The real solution of course is 2 simply leave America, because obviously both parties & 99% of people in government want America destroyed, along with all other nations, & life on Earth. For some reason I keep thinking about the 1996 _Simpsons_ episode in which they show Clinton and Dole debating, and then reveal that they both are alien monsters masquerading as human beings.
But the sort of thing discussed in the article here goes back a long way. Going back to 1996, it was apparent that the reason the Republicans ran Dole was because he was the most lackluster individual they could find.
Regarding media bias, I will never forget the Goldwater vs. Johnson campaign of 1964; the media worldwide (not just the US!) depicted Goldwater as a war-mongering fascist, and enough people bought into it for Johnson to win by a landslide. In that instance, Johnson ran as the “peace” candidate, even as he was plotting the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, which led to the Vietnam fiasco.
You can go farther back than that, and find more suspicious goings-on. The 1912 election was handed to the bankster puppet Woodrow Wilson when Theodore Roosevelt split the Republican ticket by running on his Bull Moose ticket. The Bull Moose Party, of course, conveniently disappeared after its purpose was fulfilled, which was to get Wilson in there so they could bring in the Federal Reserve and the income tax, and to get the US embroiled in the European war.
I believe that America is tired of all the WARS and LIES.
Ron Paul has been speaking Truth to Power for 35 years.

Mitt Romney has the most financial support so far from money/banking sources. So, if he wins, that is who ‘they’ want to be prez, even if it doesn’t make sense. (I saw the list of donations a few weeks ago and I can’t remember where. But, I am sure it is easily searchable). Watch out for Romney.

ppig, my intent was not to say Paul didn’t get the votes, it was only to say the author of the video didn’t have any proof in his video that those numbers were reported on CBS and removed. I didn’t get to see the debate myself but if the video maker above has the original CBS video – we would be able to prove he is correct. I don’t trust the media either but I couldn’t convince someone using this video. We need to support Ron Paul using accurate and believable presentations to gain more support and votes. “PAUL-2012″
