On August 20th, 2010, the FDA issued a recall and alert of an estimated 300 million (or was it billion?) eggs that were produced at Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa. Far from being the first time this egg company had been sited for unsanitary conditions or other FDA violations, the FDA subsequent to the
latest infractions which affected consumers in many states, issued a warning letter (yet again) to the company. No one from Wright Egg Company was arrested; no product was seized or destroyed and not one person associated with Wright Egg was taken to court or charged with any crimes. What did follow was a letter of warning.
The letter states: “Failure to take prompt corrective action may result in regulatory action being initiated by the Food and Drug Administration without further notice. These actions include, but are not limited to, seizure and/or injunction.”
No seizure or injunction occurred. In fact,Wright County Egg really never missed a day of production, or was penalized in any meaningful way for their ongoing disregard of FDA standards.
“The FDA is in ongoing communications with Wright County Egg to ensure that appropriate preventive measures are put in place to reduce the risk of recurrence.”
I bet they were really shakin’ in their shoes! (sarc)
In August of 2011, Rawsome Foods in California was targeted by the LA Sheriff’s office, the USDA, the CDC and of course…the FDA. Their crime? Selling fresh goat milk products to “non-members”. The owner went to jail, has been charged with various “crimes” and has had their business destroyed.
While these are only two examples of the FDA double standards, it gets far worse.
In 2005, it was announced that 89,000 to a possible 139,000 deaths occurred just in the US as a result of the deadly medication Vioxx, (Merck) a medication approved as safe by the FDA. Although it was later acknowledged that Merck was fully aware of the lethal affects of Vioxx (and Bexstra) and could have pulled the product(s) before so many had died, they chose not to.
The FDA originally approved Vioxx in 1999. This gave Merck plenty of time to recoup their investment and make a super-sized profit all the while knowing their product was killing people; and so did the FDA. The FDA ran interference along with the CDC to marginalize the growing death count for Vioxx. Merck is after all, a huge corporate contractor with FDA and keeps the agency flush with pay-to-play contracts worth millions each year. And Merck is only one of a long list of contracting corporations who access the FDA approval list after paying a substantial fee.
Once the death toll had risen to such heights, one would have expected the USDA, FDA and local law enforcement would have shown up as they did at Rawsome foods, guns drawn, destroying product, seizing equipment, arresting owners and workers along with the scientists who developed Vioxx (and Bextra), but for some strange reason that never happened.
In fact, not one person associated with Merck or the development of these two lethal drugs was ever arrested. They never missed a day of work and the production facility was not only left in tact, but running full speed ahead.
No one was charged with the voluntary or even involuntary deaths associated with their deadly concoction. Merck was never charged with mislabeling/misbranding, or even false advertising regarding their drugs.
It is apparent that murder for profit is quite all right not only with the FDA, but also the Justice Department, which never even attempted to press any charges in this situation.
However, FDA is hot on the trail of supplement manufacturers who don’t have a history of killing people:
“These tainted products can cause serious adverse effects, including strokes, organ failure, and death,” said FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg. “The manufacturers selling these tainted products are operating outside the law.” What law? Apparently it is quite alright if your product kills people or harms them according to the FDA, as long as you are a pharmaceutical contacting partner with the FDA.
The list of deadly medications approved by the FDA over the years that have caused death, physical injury and lifetime disability is staggering. It is acknowledged that most of the so-called experts hired to advise the FDA regarding safety and efficacy of medications are directly linked to the pharmaceutical companies, at least financially.
It is estimated that lethal drugs approved for use by the FDA account for an estimated 20,000 deaths per year. Now add in the deaths from deadly vaccines (only 1-10% actually reported to CDC) all of which are approved as safe by the FDA, and we have an agency which represents a clear and present danger to the overall public health.
The FDA is the same agency which claims we do not have the right to choose what foods we eat. Why this agency, which has such a long and sordid history of approving deadly medications, vaccines, food additives and which, actively promotes GMO’s and the coming assault in the form of nanotechnology injected into our food supply was allowed to make such a statement without being soundly slapped down by the courts is astounding.
If there is one agency that could and should be shut down it is the FDA as it currently exists. Considering the billions funneled into this agency each year by congress and the subsequent contract fees paid by corporate business partners amounting to billions more, it is apparent that this agency cannot or will not adhere to sound protocol or follow its own regulations as it obviously is more concerned with profits than actual safety.
Thanks to the new powers given to the FDA in the recently passed “fake-food-safety” bill, the cost to taxpayers for FDA “enforcement” of arbitrary new regulations should go through the US roof.
It would be far better for all concerned if the FDA was revamped, refocused and limited in their power and authority. Most of what the FDA supposedly does could be done by the states, and should be and most likely could be done at a cost far lower than what is now incurred. Safety should be the priority. Not profits, not power, not the ability to selectively choose who to harass or terrorize while turning a blind eye to the obvious.
The problem arises when we allow what are supposed to be “public service” agencies to incorporate as private business entities and to contract privately with other corporations who may or may not have the best interests of the public in mind.
Cash quickly overtakes purpose and “public service” is just as quickly converted to private enterprise for profit. No where is this more apparent than in the FDA.

I’ve recently become quite passionate and more aware than I have ever been about many of the insane actions the government, FDA, Pharmaceutical companies, etc. have been treating or shall I say have not been treating every single human being on this planet. I have never spoken out or voiced my views on such topics, but I don’t know how anyone can simply sit back and take what’s been dished out to us. There is always hope and I won’t give up hope that if I’m mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, then maybe more people will feel the same, gather together and stop the insanity!

How many Americans have been drugged into passivity? It starts in the school system. How many kids are diagnosed as “hyper-active” and given medication.? We expect that 7 year olds are supposed to sit in classrooms all day? Most kids live for recess. They are SUPPOSED to be running, jumping and climbing trees. Now, the adults have even taken over their games. No such thing as just going out to play with each other. NO WONDER this country is messed up.
We are clearly at the point where we can prove, to ourselves, screw the government, that the government, and all the “unconstitutional agencies” that hang off of it, like a bag for a colon surgery patient, are 100% ineffectual. No real or actual problems in America are actually being dealt with. They have abandoned all domestic concerns, that affect We, the People. So. Having had plenty of time to do their job, and failing, it is now time for We the People, to take matters into our own hands, and get the job done. Just begin bypassing all government. Period. They can consider themselves fired. Or not, but who cares? Like the one person above said, “should we kill and eliminate the FDA?”….I say, absolutely. Not just the FDA either. If it has a 3 letter abbreviation, it goes. FBI,CIA,NSA,DHS,TSA…..etc. That applies to Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court. We do a 100% cleanout. They ALL go. Regardless of having time left on their “terms”. Doesn’t matter. They go. Then, we set strict limits on WHO is eligible to run for office, ANY office. No lawyers. No former employees of the existing government. No one who has an income of over $100,000 a year. Basically, the so-called “elites” are NOT eligible. They clearly can’t be trusted, now, or ever. Term limits. One term. If you’ve served any kind of office, you can’t serve in another. One shot, per lifetime. No time to build “power and financial bases”. No more career politicians. If you can’t do the job in 4 years, then we need to replace you. Obviously, you weren’t right for the position. Make Lobbying an actual felony crime, because it is. It’s nothing less than bribery of public officials. Personally, I consider it subversion, and Treason. There is a lot we could do, and in short order. But, you have to get out of your armchairs, put down the beer, and turn off the TV.
And don’t forget MSG, the other dangerous NEUROTOXIN you can barely avoid, that causes all manner of disease. They have 20 other names for it, so you if you think you can grocery shop and avoid it with ease, think again! Take a magnifying glass! It makes food taste “extra delicious” so you overeat. While your getting fat, your metabolic and immune system is being destroyed slowly, eventually leading you to a hospital, where you will be milked dry of any excess money you may have, then put on a regimen of pharmaceuticals to finish the job (making you die before you qualify for SS.) What is the matter with people?!? Why don’t they get fired up and ANGRY?!? Not just about these poisons, but the economic rape by the Federal Reserve, the immoral and criminal wars, the false flag attacks, the shredding of the Constitution of our Republic, etc etc etc…
This is so true about the FDA, but Americans will never get off their lazy fat arses and do something.
The days of revolutionary ideas and action are long gone in the US.

The medical and pharmacutical industries are in the buisness of murdering people for money. It is a rare American who manages to die of old age and escape murder by the doctors. The only reason the FDA will take any action against a drug company is if their poison drugs kill patients too quickly because this deprives the industry of profits.
There was a time when america was a great nation. It was filled with God fearing men, women and children. People were in church on sunday and their houses were left unlocked. The Ten Commandments were etched in the courthouse, and the children cited the pledge of allegiance to the “republic” not the demoncracy which leads to socialism, and then to communism. I hear people all over the world crying out for demoncracy, that is to cry out for your own suppression, your own funeral at your childrens expense. Demoncracy = 2 wolves and a sheep discussing whats for dinner.

Seems like a logical response to me. We are at war are we not? Sounds like a war to me. They approve things that kill us don’t they? Is there any dispute about that? We are done with paying them with our tax dollars to kill us right? nonsense, right? The media is useless, the laws are useless, judges and politicians are paid whores for the corporate system that kills men, women and children in the name of quarterly stock profits. What more do you need to know? Are we waiting for another law to be written that says the government has to stop killing us. Do you think the politicians care? Doctors are caught in this tangled web just as much as their patients…possibly more so. Most are sincere, dedicated people who want to do the right thing for their patients. They are threatened with lawsuits and loss of license if they don’t follow along. The AMA is a very powerful organization and they need to get on this bandwagon and help pull Big Pharma down. Doctors could be the first line of defense.
The FDA needs to be investigated by the Mainstream Media…who am I kidding> This smells like rotten eggs to me.
