If I had the opportunity to sit in each living room of America, this would be the conversation I would have with each individual who believe they have no power.
America – why are we making this so difficult? The endless discussion, the banter back and forth, the reconciliation game being played in Washington, D.C., Republican, Democrats, Constitutionality?
The answer, though simple, is quite clear once the muck is removed from the discussion. No. Polite, firm and insistent. “No Thank you Mr. Republicrat. The answer to Health Care Reform is No. The answer to an increase in Taxes? No.” Not a qualified maybe, not a “wait and see”, the answer is No.
Can one not see the return of the Republican’s to the discussion is no more than their attempt to grab what little power and money not already jingling in the pockets of the Democrats? The call sweeping the Nation now is – “The Vote in 2010 is going to wipe out the corruption in Washington, by replacing the Democrats with Republicans.” Do you really believe that?
I say the answer is No. No incumbents. Each and every one of them has contributed to the conflagration that currently abides in this Nation. If you truly believe that through the election process a single one is going to carry through for your wants or needs, take the blinders off and open your eyes.
The only path to the return to simple Government of the People By the People is the People.
Not promises, additional Regulatory Practices, endless debate or bargaining.
We are dealing with thieves here. Would you truly banter with a thief who entered your home? The conversation might be as follows. “Mr. Big-Bad guy, please do not take that valuable object. It has important family history and that would hurt me. Here – take this new laptop and cash.”
Is that what we have been reduced to as a society? Begging and pleading for our “Rights”? Calling, faxing and attempting to support laws that will create more laws?
Systematically we have allowed the build up of what is now faced.
The process is broken.
If a thief were to enter your home or approach you on the street – what could you do to not become a victim? How about “No” backed up with self-protection. Even more effective? Not be in the predicament to begin with through practicing Situation Awareness.
In our current situation, our self-protection is the power of No. While it seems that the 500+ legislators wear the crown, it is time to remove the pretenders to the throne. Every last one of them.
Republican, Democrat, and the various other thieves circling in the waters of Washington. In truth, it does not matter who they are replaced with. Every election we’ll remove the incumbents to the point they cannot lurk in the dark alleyways waiting to rob us through the “transparency” of government action. We’ll just keep saying “No” until either there is no power in holding office or until the power rests where it should be
The people.
It is not likely that this message would be heard by all or even understood by many. The possibility of travelling around trying to even have the discussion with the majority of those unsatisfied with the current state of “Rahm it through” is not even remotely possible. However – those readers who have stuck it out the end of this little FairyTale can effect change in their own Community.
The answer is No. The time is Now.

The government has gone too far as everyday moreand more are rebelling by taking what they want. No jobs, losing their houses . Is it so hard to understand why the people are keeping thier guns. They refuse to pay taxes, If all the people refused where oh where would barry get the money back he and his corrupt members has stolen? He has no one to blame but himself. He is making it impossible for the citizens to lead a normal life. Before he make his own little army he best do some thinking on it. Not everyone will just sit quietly by and let him take over their lives. This is still american not cuba or kenya.

Yes and one reporter let slip today that in most cases, insurance companies could not drop or deny coverage. In most…not all. And that end of pre-existing conditions is really only meant for children….aaah…..but not all of them of course.

Ooops – there was fine print in the Health Care Bill?
NYT:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/29/health/policy/29health.html
“The authors of the law say they meant to ban all forms of discrimination against children with pre-existing conditions like asthma, diabetes, birth defects, orthopedic problems, leukemia, cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease. The goal, they say, was to provide those youngsters with access to insurance and to a full range of benefits once they are in a health plan.
To insurance companies, the language of the law is not so clear. ”

“Page 158 of the new health care bill exempts the Democrat staffers who wrote it from the necessity of purchasing insurance in the same manner as other Americans.
If this bill is so great and the rest of us should be delighted to have it, why are they exempt? The words “arrogant” and “self-serving” come to my mind.”

Uhm – yeah.
